@@Shmee150 Tim, when you get to Sema, you should spend some time on Tavarish's 2016 675LT that he just finished rebuilding. The journey/project took two years. The Speedtail has grown on me but still with cars pushing 300 mph+ .. For McLaren to produce a successor to the F1 (speed record car) and be over 50mph behind the current leaders, kinda strange thing to do in my opinion.
I agree with you.....I was shocked as well when they announced that the successor to the former fastest car in the world would only go 10mph faster than the original. McLaren isn't even competing in the speed records now.
Top speed was never the point of the F1, just as it isn't the point of the Speedtail. McLaren never figured the car themselves (they say!), left it to Autocar magazine to do that.
@@petercrawford5085 They actually manufactured the Speedtail with the intention for it to go fast, since it is the most aerodynamic car they've ever created. And 250 mph. isn't really a challenging goal to meet compared with the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut's record of 330 mph.
Man, I was on my honeymoon south of Houston until the 31st. Popped into McLaren on the 27th, but there wasn't a salesman there so we didn't get to see this marvelous collection. Only the 4 up front. Should have gone back😭
I'm always astonished by machines like these, all the intricate little things working in harmony, so much complex manufacturing in the pieces and panels that make up the whole. We have progressed so much since the cars of the 80's & 90's.
I literally just watched the Mclaren video of turning a Bills fan into an F1 fan and that video took place here and they had 2 Sabres, a Speedtail, a Senna
Must confess I am hooked, a truly brilliant advert for McClaren. I do like the HyperCars. Feel that the 570s are a car I fell in love with a long time ago but always find something more practical to buy!!
I’ve got to start following Tim on other social media sites. If I’d have known he was going to be in town I’d have liked to have said hello. Maybe when I get my future venture up and running he’ll swing by with his camcorder and get some footage of a cool collection of cars.

McLaren have always been my favourite car brand, and I know they have some problems, like my new 765LT Spider had an electrical issue that would not allow the car to start, but I think McLaren are the most driver focused supercar brand which have kind of taken over Ferrari in a sense and also I have my name down already for the next Ultimate series to join my P1, Senna, Speedtail, Elva and the P1 GTR.

Maybe for your Senna, use a tint that has a subtle design or racing stripe or shape with a number that you can see at angle. Blue fading into the black with pattern. So many ways to play with that window on the Senna doors
I'm not sure what the exact rules are in the UK, but in many countries it is illegal to have numbers on street legal cars. I'm pretty sure the UK has that rule as well, which is why the Yaris is missing the number on the livery it has on it.
The best most just one of the Best sure some people in Dallas have divo but this this is unmatched having multiple hyper cars some you can’t get even if you had money
