Great compilation! Probably the best one yet. Just one question: some obvious reactors were missing….. Charismatic Voice, Chase Carneson, Tank……. a few others that are more prominent than most of those you showed. Is that copyright issues? Just curious because their absence was notable. Yet you were able to add Floor herself, which was awesome!
Some reactors like The Charismatic Voice used a different version of the song so I could not include them. Others didn't make the cut simply because there were too many to choose from or I just overlooked them. I try to give the reactors featured in my videos as much screen time as I can while still making it as entertaining as possible. If I included every reaction to the song, some people would only be on screen for a second or two and that doesn't really allow for any of their personality to shine through and I don't want anybody in my videos to feel like filler. I strive to have a nice mix of smaller channels as well as some of the bigger reactors everyone knows and loves. Hopefully I will be able to showcase some I the reactors I missed in a future video. Thanks for the comment.

@@kylebrooks338 Same I was like "Wait, she looks remarkably like... wait wtf ?" then laughed. I did have to go back to make sure it wasn't Floor's sister reacting to her sister
If you don’t believe in the power of music, a band from Scandinavia, playing in Germany, singing in English, and people are waving flags from Mexico in the front row.
At 12:02 the shot of Mr. Rock and Roll hiding behind his chair, peeking out cracked me up! Another excellent edit, one of the best - thank you for these!!!
Dude what the hell with the editing?!?! That was soooo GOOD! Absolutely phenomenal job!!! I didn’t know how much I needed that… massive massive props man
Floor's singing is made even more amazing when you realize that Ghost Love Score was the 13th song out of 15!. She's a Valkyrie leading her Viking warband into battle.
Yes. 70 minutes in! And that's after something like romanticide being two songs prior at 55 minutes in. Headbanging and power belting her head off and hitting that high note slide at 1hr in. Then still at 70 minutes in delivering this. Nothing short of astonishing
First off this editing job is almost as good as the song.....props !!! Brilliant job on " the note " to use the KING KTF reaction where he replays it 3 times , so you can show more reactions to it was Brilliant 👏
@@scottchadburn1535 Same here! It showed up in my recommendations one day and I was blown away. I’m grateful that I was introduced to the supreme talent that is Nightwish!
Floor's reaction included was like she reacting to a bunch of people reacting to her voice and Nightwish's song... Such a beautiful song and angelical voice, i prefer her way to sing this one.
@@SantyWilly It was a joke, sorry. Droste effect is not about singing techniques. It’s about repetitiveness: The great performance by that one singer, reviewed by dozens of reaction videos, that are reviewed by the singer and now is in a video about the reaction video’s. Next step would be the reactions to this video. it’s a reaction in a reaction in a reaction in a reaction. Droste is a Dutch chocolate factory, that was famous for the recursively images on their packaging: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Droste_effect
Fun fact: there's an AI-generated collaboration where they perform Queen's Who Wants to Live Forever. I know there's no way to tell if it's accurate, but you should check it out.
Props to the editor. Floor in there telling people to shush was a lovely little Easter Egg moment. ‘Other singers sing what they can, Floor sings what she wants.’
YAY! I was one of the people that recommended this, thank you so much for doing it! Love your edits! I love that you included Floor's reaction, too! "Floor, what is your vocal range?" Floor: "Yes."
I graduated in 2013 and me and some friends went to Wacken that year to celebrate and I was at that concert. It was absolutely insane. Nightwish were definitley the Highlight of that year.
MASTERFULLY edited together...especially the use of King KTF's repeating of "The Note" in order to get all the reactors in for that section! His "Heaven felt that shit!" was so ON POINT! Well Done!!!!
I've been a fan of Nightwish since Tarja was their singer. Ghost Love Score I feel is their most masterful creation. Vocally it's a masterpiece by itself not to mention every member who contributes to it with their instruments making it what it is. That part at the end, you know which one. When I heard that for the first time in this live version I got chills and teared up. Her voice is powerful and it commands AND demands respect. It pulls from you. Tarja and Annete were incredible in their own ways with Nightwish but I feel Floor is by far the best match for this band.
It's probably just because I grew up with Tarja initially, I still prefer her studio versions of tracks. from what I vaguely remember, she just wasn't a good fit for the band though, and didn't enjoy tour life much. I think you're right Floor is the best fit for the band for sure, and definitely their best live singer.
I love the comment and the replies. It is not a good talent vs bad talent thing as some NW "fans" insist on framing it. Annette and Tarja are extremely talented singers/artists and are big parts of who Nightwish is, but the way the Tuomas's music fits Floor's skill set is magical...as witnessed by all the reactions,
Wishing the Viking Queen a speedy recovery ... this performance is by far one of the top live performances ever ... the band rocks, and she delivers powerfully and gorgeously with a voice that can take troops to battle!
What are you talking about, Beyonce, is a very talented artist, singer, writer and dancer. Her gift is different from Jansen's, but just as entertaining. Jesus, what is wrong with some of you.
We just watched several people ascend to a different beautiful plane of existence and then brought back down to earth. Man if only I could experience that song again for the first time…or Floor Jansen’s voice…
I think this is my 50th time hearing this song and it never gets old for me. No song in my life have I listen to as much as this one. I am blow away every time. Floor and the band are so talented, and they make this song live with all its emotions and feelings you have when you are listening to it. This video was great to see all of the reactions. Thanks for putting this together.
@@mauricemyers3343 YES!!! I am 63 and a lifelong Zeppelin fan! Usually, wherever I go, I am the most knowledgeable Zep fan in the room. But around 10 years ago, I discovered this band when I was watching comparisons to Amy Lee. Those were the Tarja years. When Ghost Love Score Buenos Aries first came out, I lost my mind (like all these reactors). This is their Stairway!!! I'm going to see them in Stuttgart in December!!! I'm beyond stoked!!!
Yes, this is what they do to people. Not wanting to give all credits to Floor (because she indeed is a stage general, the very best singer in the world and attracts a lot of attention by her nature). All members of Nightwish are on a lonely epic level. Together they rule. And the strange thing is: even after listening 2000 times to this song my tears run down my cheeks. There is no getting used to it. Seeing people react to it and experiencing the same emotion hits you in a positive way. That's why going to a concert is such a blast. That mutual experience of joy.
Editing Floor into this is pure genius. Yes, a lot of the "Big" reactors are not included, but this video is absolutly very well made and i think so far the best GLS reaction summary i seen till now. And again ... editing Floor into this is genius!
I still think this was the greatest live performance I have ever seen in person or on video. That includes Rush, Satriani, Dream Theater, Steve Vai, and other elite musicians.
Nightwish used to be a band I was made fun of for enjoying. To see so many find the same levels of joy is a gift in of itself. To put the performance on top of it, and that last note being able to always make me feel every positive emotion at once; I cant even put into proper words
People that make fun of you for loving Nightwish are mindless sheep who vote for Taylor Swift at the AMAs. At least you have a great taste for quality music ;)
This is by far the best reaction compilation I've ever seen, and it's only fitting that honor would be for Ghost Love Score at Wacken 2013. The editing is so well done. The pacing and flow of all the reactors is perfect, and it was brilliant how you managed to show so many reactions to "the note," without looking forced. Well done. This one's going on my hard drive!
Floor’s voice is one of the very few in metal that brings me to tears from joy when she sings absolutely one of the best voices in metal history. Nightwish has their fair share of incredible vocalist but floor is absolutely INCREDIBLE. I love her voice and she’s such a wonderful person too. I love that she reacts to her own performances
Nightwish Army from Japanland stopping by. Fan-freakin'-tastic, man! What an amazing love letter to Nightwish. I hope all the NW band members get to see this. Epic video, sir.
King KTF has a special place in my memory as it was his reaction that I stumbled upon and took a chance with to have my first ever Nightwish experience with. Within a minute I was shaking my head at what I was hearing because I couldn't believe what I was listening to. "what am I watching???!?!" was going through my head during the entire performance. I was instantly hooked and addicted and haven't stopped since. Getting to know and understand Nightwish has been wonderfully life changing. Great video compilation!
Same for me, in that King KTF has a special place in my memory! I was a huge Nightwish fan long before seeing his reaction, but his GLS reaction was the very first reaction video I ever heard. I've heard over a hundred GLS reactions since, plus literally thousands of other reactions, but he is the reason I started watching reaction channels back in 2018.
Dude! The time and care taken to weave all these reactors AND FLOOR into this masterpiece is brilliant! The song itself is genius! The reactors, the music, the performance and the band are all next level shit! I've probably watched at least half these reactors because I love the song and so richly enjoy seeing others fall in love with the song and the band. My favorite, because it was the first time I heard Nightwish, is Sistah and Wolfkain! The pure emotion the two share is EXACTLY how I felt when I heard it for the first time. AND I WAS 60 WHEN I FIRST HEARD Nightwish!! I'd been around the block, for sure, but this was Different. And the most impactful component of the reaction was that Wolfkain grew up w Nightwish and had stopped following them when the first singer left the band. He had an emotional attachment and that had been broken by the change of singers. He thought he knew Nightwish. He had never heard Floor. Watching him break, was so powerful! Watching Sistah completely lose her shit was equally powerful! And I felt it, ALL!
Just a fact: wacken is an heavy metal festival started up in 2000 with just 200 visitors in a small town called „ wacken“ now there are 85000 visitors per year….
The songs of Nightwish are incredible journeys... works of art in music... Tuomas is a genius and Floor is magnificent... sweet and powerful voice, stunning both in stage presence and interpretation!!! Ecstasy of emotions!!!🤘🖤🤘💥
A song like Ghost Love Score deserves to be listened to repeatedly. I can listen to this song and not get tired of it. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Nightwish aren't just a band. They're a spiritual journey. I'm honored to be a passenger on this journey.
Having been a nightwish fan since the early 2000s, sometimes it's hard to tell whether your own awe over the band is totally objective. And then something like this happens, when you see your own raw emotion that's beyond words written all over strangers' faces, and it's this, it's a wow. Goosebumps every single time. To quite someone here heaven feels that shit, and he likes it.
This. I can ALMOST listen to the song without tearing up...but watching everyone ELSE react to it...amplified how it makes me feel, and the tears are still coming 5 minutes after the end, reading the comments.
Im 60 yrs old...been to hundreds of concerts dating back to the mid 70s...I have seen some epic singers...imo...Floor is the best female vocalist in my lifetime
The moment I've been waiting for ever since I discovered your channel, Floor is the best definition of an Angel's Voice on stage on this one, on this entire show really, her version of Ever Dream is also amazing.
The best. The arrangement breathtaking her voice only one that I’ve never heard before I feel so much better now thank you so much see that magical that’s love better than any drug it’s better than when you’re alone you’re not because you’re there wrong one when we listen to this and they are majestic coulis to you
The best illustration of how we all felt after seeing this performance for the first time. The words are coming out, but they don't make much sense :-D
Nightwish music is so inclusive that it does not matter what background you come from for you will enjoy it and their talent enables them to dabble in so many things, instrumental, vocal experiments, they have it all, since the beginning
Awesome editing skills there my friend. This version of Ghost Love Score has to be one, if not the finest ever recordings of a live performance. The whole band are on fire & it goes without question that Floor is absolutely the best female vocalist alive today. Totally stunning and a fantastic song.
Nightwish always give me chills. But seeing Nightwish virgins react to it was something else. Never seen so many minds blown in 1 video. And the Floor cameo was fire!
It was similar for me, when I first heard this. At the beginning I was like: she is good, but she is not Tarja. By the end of this song I was completely in love with her voice. Floor is one of the best female singers I have heard.
