You can tend to tell the tourists from the Londoners, as most of the locals have cracked the timings between the light going red and crossing. Whereas, the tourists... well you can see here ;)
Its crazy how people will risk getting hurt just to save themselves a few seconds of traffic waiting. Or, better yet, will just throw caution to the wind because they’re so entitled too.
Don't all commuters do that? Look at some of the idiocy from cyclists, or motorcyclists or drivers too. Like the drivers who close pass you on your bike so they can get to the back of the queue at the next lights sooner, or the cyclist who goes down the side of a bus, or the kind of motorcyclist who filters through stationary traffic at 50MPH. Face it, people are stupd!
I laughed so hard all the way through this. What makes it worse is I work right across where you drive every day, so I am totally expecting to see me being stupid in one of your videos as well!
I love how some people would be out of your way faster if they just kept going in the direction they were already going. But when they get startled, they jump back in your way, then turn around the opposite direction to get out of the way.
So that defeats what he is trying to do and could possibly get them run over by any vehicle coming past him on the inside , dangerous ? Stupid ? Irresponsible?
@@ChrizRockster Fight or flight how dose that work out when a lion is chasing its prey the prey runs forward as quick as possible towards your unknown not back towards the danger which is what the biker made people do thus putting them into a new danger when doing so was totally unnecessary .

@@fazeridge6965 Sorry but a green light does not mean go. The highway code states ( for a green light ) " IF the way is clear and it it safe to do so you may go." If people have started to cross they have right of way. If a long vehicle is still going through when the lights change, it still has the right of way.
But it also states that a pedestrian must not cause a vehicle to come to an abrupt stop, so if they step out without looking they are in the wrong. I'm just glad I don't live in a city.
@@joejoejoejoejoejoe4391 that’s true, but most cars/bikes (even at speed limits) shouldn’t have to abruptly stop just because a pedestrian decides to cross in a green light for cars/bikes. It’s puts the peds and car/bike driver at risk. They will end up slamming there brakes because it’s the right thing to do but this shouldn’t occur if a ped just waits or crosses at a crossing.
Now that the rules have changed, he could be in trouble. A lot of the pedestrians are already in the road so they have priority. Also the revving of the engine, especially at pedestrian crossings could be seen as an intimidation tactic.
Some portion of his video is nothing but he is being an ass. He could just honk it, but choose to intimidate them. He rev the engine during red light, he rev the engine while pedestrian are crossing legally, so on so forth.
@@CyclingNekoHave you ridden in London? A bike horn does very little in a busy london street. Just look at the lack of reaction from many of these peds even with the revving. A lot of these situations he's actually making people safer by alerting them. So many people just walking out into the street not looking. Big difference between pedestrian priority and endangering road users by running into traffic or just standing in the middle of the road. Priority means little if the ped is found to be so careless or innatentive.

London pedestrians can be lemmings! Safety first. Courtesy after safety! We are all human - some are genuine mistakes but mostly lack of due care and attention! I very much liked the dance compilation at the end. It is very artistic & humorous. Well done RJ artistic idea. The sound of that Nuda really is gorgeous! The sound appears to be a life saver too, for both you the rider and others. It definitely warns pedestrians and other drivers that you are there. You even use it to warn pedestrians that other vehicles are on the road too!!! Funny that. Ride safe.

I'm from a rural part of my region (Veneto, in the North- East side of Italy) and even if there's not a lot of traffic, I still have the habit to be very careful when crossing the road. Also this happens because some people drive like crazy and won't stop for you

Pedestrians are used that drivers must be careful and drivers are used that pedestrians are somewhat ignorant. It's kinda unwritten London rule. As a driver, you just get used to look not only traffic lights and signs but also pedestrians.
I do delivery in london with an electric bicycle! First 2 weeks I was almost hitting 5 people and from that moment i instal one big bluetooth spiker( I fix on bike with ducktape) to make people looking from where i come from .... idiots
I was super scared in rome to cross a 4 or 5 lane road at a crosswalk because everyone Was racing like a madman. But when we stepped on the street to cross carefully but determined everybody stopped. Here in Germany a crosswalk on a 5 lane road would never work.
I’m amazed by two things: how difficult it seems to be to cross a road in London, and how generally cheerful people are about being told NOPE! I also love how RJ respectfully takes note of all the gorgeous ladies.

But he does. Check at 02:58 for example. He does on male, woman, grandpa with pacemakers, kids. The only situation he is strangely not overly aggressive is with women wearing hidjab at 02:08, go figure.

Ikr, I saw these women laughing as one of them was pushing a pram over a crossing on a blind bend, I was only a few meters away before I was able to see them.
yes we drive on the left however most of the crossing have a button you need to press and wait till the light goes red and the green pedestrian light goes on
@@Byptic Anything that would make you want your life to end so it depends on the person. Physical, mental and psychological pain/issues is a good start. Immortality would be a hell of a nightmare too.
