Because they're the redesigned version of the recent show, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The second TMNT popsicle he pulled was actually pretty decent considering the redesign.
Just saying, You might want to put the popsicles in a cooler with ice while you drive, because they melt and mess up so if they don’t melt they won’t not be perfect
So it looks to me like they switched up the TMNT popsicle design to more closely represent the way they look in the new show. Specifically, Raphael's design. The design in the reference picture was of the original 80s TMNT designs. So for what it's worth, that second TMNT popsicle is actually pretty dang close.
