Tip #1: If you want to get Zoom 1080p + 500 Meeting + 500 + unlimited cloud storage, visit lab.danielchi.live/aice for more information! Tip #2: You may have to enable 'Far End Camera Control' in your Zoom settings to make this work.
Zoom says "Both users (the one requesting control and the one giving control) must have this turned on", which may be tricky to guide your guest where to set if it's not turned ON already. The reason you've missed this is - your demo is most likely using your account for both host and guest, so - you turn it on at the host side, it is also turned on at the guest side. With a real guest, it may be a bit more challenging 😏 Other than that - cool tip 👍
Wow. Thanks Daniel. This is a great idea. I love the idea of the remote control feature. I don't think that I've seen that feature. Is that only available on the enterprise level of zoom? Great Video by the way.
Hey David! The remote control feature should be available on all Zoom paid plans, however, it will depend on the camera your remote guest has. I've tested it successfully on the Insta360 Link, Link 2, and the Obsbot PTZ series webcams with success. You may have to go into your Zoom.us settings into the "Meeting > In Meeting (Advanced)" section and enable "Far end camera control".
