The only reason you feel like girl groups sound the same is that you don't really know and listen to them as much so they all become a blur in the end. They really don't sound the same lol. At least not more so than the boy groups do.

But i like some girl groups who have tried many concept like red velvet, snsd and recently itzy. But seb should look up to gg. Then he will understand the sound of ggs. Ngl I also think girl groups mostly sound the same TvT well not the same, but quite simillar. like Twice and Red velvet or Aespa and G-idle, mostly the reason why I got to boy groups more cuz I remember thier songs more clearly than girl groups. Don't get me wrong tho, i don't hate girl group songs, but most of their songs are, soft? Or has this soft tone that makes it hard to recognize or remember their songs. it's just preference I guess. I did listen to a lot of them like Itzy, twice, girls generation, etc., they kinda went by like a blur honestly. Except Black Pink tho, thier songs are a bop and has really strong hookers😩💕 But at the end I guess it's just preference.

I am so proud to have you in our family Sebastian. The fact that you knew every single song on here just shows how much you've grown in this genre of music in only a year... That's impressive af!!!!. But I think you should wait to see what the other song is before automatically making a decision because you don't know which bop the second one will be. That was proven with Kai & Lee Michael Taemin Jackson which was an extremely hard choice. So the next time you play this, wait for the second song to appear before making your choice. That's the only helpful hint I have, awesome song selections. This was hard 🥃❤️

Honestly I think they were trying to do the VS with the lesser known girl groups by choosing similar sounding songs (simlar concepts and/or vibes) on purpose. A lot of these matchups had certain themes (like produce boygroup vs produce boygroup, sm collab girl group vs sm collab boy group, etc) and for those ggs the "theme" might have been their similar sound. Idk, just a guess. IMO, there are many girl groups with very diverse discographies.

I think a lot of people who don't check out girl groups as often sometimes have that opinion (same for girl group fans who don't listen to boy groups often thinking that all boy groups sound the same).

Ooo the winter falls drop hurt me like a stab to the heart bc a stray kids vocal song that my ult bias wrote? Automatic save. Your mamamoo is my skz. Also yeah the last skz song was an older song and one of their less serious songs where it was meant to be fun/comedic, same with the mv (song still wins over the other one for me) Totally agree on the egotistic save and your regret on the oh my god drop I’m obsessed with that (g)I-dle song (just pronounced idle btw). Also, idk if its because stray kids are my ults but like.. you dropping all of their songs actually made my blood boil like😭😭 i really do respect your song choices but it sometimes saddens me as a person knowing all of their songs and how great they are y'know.. especially that last bonus when you regretted dropping the first song after you saw it was stray kids as the second, i even gasped to be honest.. ion know you could've said it better for the sake of the people watching you, but great choices anyways!!
