And that is understandable. I did cover them a bit in my Subordinate City Generals video under “Sub City Development Generals”, but just to bring awareness to them. But if you have any specific questions regarding those types of generals, please feel free to ask 🙂👍

Thank you very much 😊🙏 As far as books are concerned, it is best to think of it as your main general having 6 book slots, as opposed to thinking of the main general and the assistant as separate. It makes things clearer this way, as the same rules for books apply 👌

Hi 😊👋 Glad to hear that you have been finding the videos helpful ☺️ Technically speaking, yes, you could put the enemy mounted troop attack book on your ranged general. The debuffs will be applied to all enemy mounted troops you attack with your ranged general. 👌 However, since one of the main purposes of your ranged general is to kill mounted troops from a distance, enemy mounted troop attack is probably not the most useful book for your ranged general. You would prefer to have enemy mounted troop HP. That would be more helpful for killing enemy mounted troops 😉👍

There’s 2 things regarding that: 1. Yes, you are right, the march speed heading towards the boss monster is determined by the lead general. The issue is the march speed on the way back. There is some evidence, though not conclusive, that monster march speed also speeds up the march back from monsters. 2. There is really no other use for the monster march speed book in the game. So, instead of letting it be a total waste, might as well use some (together with the march speed book) expecting that it will help improve the round trip speed of your generals from boss rallies. Hope that explains the rationale 👍

Unfortunately there isn’t a way to remove skill books. All you can do is replace them.

No specific number to be honest, but if you want something to guide you, aim to have around 5-10 copies of the each skill book 😉👍

I guess it would help with the imprisoned time, if they are not released. 👍 As for revival time, since we have revival stones, they won’t help much there. 👌

If you are referring to the monster skill books, they apply to all monsters in the game, both boss monsters (regular and event bosses) and the little common monsters as well 👍

With wall generals, it’s a bit of a tricky business. Naturally, some generals are more suited for specific troops, but the way the game works, you still need a well rounded general. The best advice I can give is to have certain milestones for your stats. Personally, when my wall general reaches 800-900% range attack, I will switch my range attack book to maybe ground attack or speed and shift focus. That’s the best advice I can offer. But you definitely want to improve you wall general in multiple areas 👍

Simple answer: Yes they do! 👍 Both regular mounted attack and mounted HP get added for monsters 👌 The difference between the regular and the monster books is that the regulars apply to both monsters and PvP, while the monster books are only for monsters

Thank you 😊🙏 I still feel defense over HP for ranged troops and have the same books on my ranged general. I know there are those that say HP, so it’s a tough argument either way. If you are still torn by it, just go with your gut feeling 👌. At the end of the day, skill books can always be replaced, and worst case scenario, 25% buff isn’t game breaking 😉👍

Hi 👋 and thanks for the sub 😁 Unfortunately, there isn’t much we can do with this system. Sometimes you luck out and the books go on smoothly. I’ve had times when I had over 10 books each and they just kept replacing each other. Eventually I had to go to the skill books shop to purchase more with gems 💎😪 But yeah, it won’t be as difficult as it has been all the time 🤞

Never thought of trying that before 🤔 I don’t think that they would increase the march speed, but even if they did, can’t see how that would be helpful 😅

Thank you 😊🙏 When it comes to purchasing books from the skill book shop, unfortunately that’s the only way to do it. The replacement of books is random, and there’s no real way to prevent that. The only thing you can do is make sure you have several “copies” of the books you want to use. Otherwise, it’s practically gambling 😅 There aren’t really any other options for getting the monster books. The best advice I can give is to try and save up skill book chests, spin the wheel of fortune and hopefully you’ll get some of the books that you want 🤞 Also consider using the regular versions of the monster skill books that you are trying to place. Those are easier to get. Otherwise, just make sure you have enough gems before you visit the skill book shop again 😅 Also, make sure you have the other books you want placed before you start placing books purchased from the skill book shop 👌

Yes, you can put all those skill books on Sanada 👍 As for which one comes first, unfortunately I can't say. Whether the skill books replace is completely random by the game's system. Make sure you use Lv1 books first before putting on your Lv4 books. That way, you minimise your loss of the books getting replaced 👍

Thanks 😊🙏 The best way to get Lv 1 books is from the Wheel of Fortune. Only downside is that the books you get are random. You can also get books from the Skill Book shop in the Academy. But you need gems 💎 for that and it’s kinda expensive

I have 3 👍 Joining generals: Baibars, Cleopatra, Nathanael Greene, Sanada Yukimura, Hernando Cortes. They do different things, but these are the best imo 👌

If you are using him for boss monsters, that’s not the best combination, but it’s not terrible either. You’d be better off with mounted hp instead of mounted defense. Also, as I stated in the video, you can change your books later if you wish. Skill books aren’t permanent 😉👍

@@RedEvony I tried adding HP over defense. But it replaced other skill book every time add one. Then my HP skill books over and I had defense only. So I added it. Yes I use Hannibal as Boss general. But most time i joined rallies with him. But he is more like PvP mounted general right? Please give us in-detail video about generals if possible. Especially FREE ones :D

Yup! It can definitely be replaced! That’s why you’d want to start off with Lv1s, or other lower level books, first 👌

Yeah, some do. I do as well, but mainly for lower level bosses i.e. B11 and under. So, in my case, they are 3rd or 4th level boss killing troops. For my main boss killing, and I’m sure for most other people, it’s still cavs. Cavs have the highest attack of all the troop types. Meaning that you can kill bosses with relatively fewer troops. So cavs are best suited for that 👌 But in case you were considering something like that, just FYI, there’s no need for you to specifically gear up a general just for using ground or archers to kill bosses. I mean, you could if you wanted and could afford to, just that it’s not necessary 😉

For mounted troops, HP is more valuable than Defense. So after Monster Attack and Monster HP, the next best choices would be regular Mounted Attack and HP. After that, Defense can come in 😉👍

Trying to set Martinus up, and he won't take regular attack books, so I guess that leaves me with trying to add regular HP, on top of the level 4 Monster attack and HP, along w the third being level 4 defense against monster, so it would be a roll of the dice to try and swap another level 4 book... I'm also mainly F2P, so gonna be tricky getting more Marty pieces, I also have a Roland w level 4 attack and HP books, along w level 4 attack against monsters, hard to decide which one will be the stronger monster hunter for me...🤷‍♂️

The skill book shop is an option for getting skill books, but a very expensive one. Only use the skill book shop for books that you can’t get otherwise (like monster books) or in times of extreme desperation. But be prepared, it will likely cost you quite a few gems 💎😅 The wheel of fortune is your best bet for getting skill books 😉👌

I’ll take note of that 👌 To be honest, all the principles are pretty much still the same. Only big difference now is imagining your Main General has 6 book slots instead or 3

He’s ok an assistant, but there are better generals. Right now, I use him as my assistant to Petronas 👌

That’s because they current skill books that are available have no effect when placed on a duty general. You can certainly put them if you want, but they won’t add any benefit to your game. Essentially, they will be wasted books

Yes. Only difference is that it is now extended to assistant generals 👌

When you go through your list of generals, skills that shine are skills that are currently active and being used. So, if you have Shajar on the wall, for example, her skill will shine. Those that don’t shine are currently inactive. Hope that answers your question 👍

@@RedEvony Thank you. But how do you get them to shine? I know that Some you make it shine from the wall or duty or dragons or maybe getting them to lv 25. Can you make a video about this. Some are easy to find out but most are not.

If you have a wall general or a specialized duty general, all you need to do is to put them on the relevant buildings, so a wall general on the wall (like Shajar) or a duty general like Ban Chao on the archer tower. The shine doesn’t give any additional benefit. It just means that the general’s main skill is currently active and in use.

@@RedEvony Yes i know this. What I'm asking is, what about those generals that don't shine? How do i activate them? All the ones your talking about are easy to figure out. The ones that don't shine, what does it take to make them shine, like say Empress Dowager Cixi. And thank you for replying.

All you need to do is to put them in situations or locations where their main skill becomes active. For duty generals, that’s easy. For other types of generals, it’s a bit tricky since their skills will only be active in certain conditions, like when attacking, for example.

People suggest HP based on the stats of the troop type (which is understandable). But from the game mechanics, archers, unlike ground, do not rely much on HP with the way they engage with enemy troops. That’s why I prefer Defense. That being said, we are talking about 25%. It’s not make or break 😅😂. So pick whichever you feel more comfortable with and roll with it 👍 You can always change your books later if you wanted to 👌

Not entirely sure about the “poor advice” you are referring to, but for people that don’t coin much, he’s pretty much as good as any other option available. Just for some strange reason, people find him funny. Maybe it’s his outfit 🤷‍♂️
