Some pointers; You can also wash the fossils to gain the washed bones that you can use on the strange machine for nice prayer exp if you don't need/want to do kudos. You will take half of your max hp as dmg when you first drop to the empty mushroom patch, so 50+ hp is not needed. I would mark trees 6 & 5 opposite, since that's the correct switch order (they go in the same pattern every time) and you will most likely need to bank your stuff (fossils, mort myre mushrooms if you keep those, caps) after every run, maybe even food if you're lower defence, for witch having the bank on the beach is very handy tho obviously not necessery. If you are able and can you would also want to have preserve unlocked and use the dragon axe +3 boost at the start of your run. The woodcutting outfit is also super easy to get so maybe emphasis on it would also be on point. Any okay healing food is fine here since you run past all the monsters. You can also chop the thick vine above tree #4 instead of running down, saves a bit of time and run energy, also avoids the previous swamp monster potentially hitting you. I quite like sulliusceps. Laid back, good xp and the fossils and numulite are a nice bonus. Only wish Jagex could have added some forestry elements to it
If you didn’t have to play inventory Tetris 24/7 doing this method it would actually be good. Should’ve never made the mushroom pit a thing, should just be the mushroom teleport system.
i tried these and the first mushroom was rdy to chop and i loaded up the landing pad after that, every mushroom was chopped so i tried hopping worlds about 8 or 9 times, no mushrooms anywhere to be seen what am i doing wrong? othwerwise yews/forestry until 90 which is gonna suck
Hi, a bit late and you've probably figured it out by now. I just had this same issue. The Sulliusceps are specific to you and need to be chopped in a specfic order. After the first one you run south to the next one following the path (i believe) is detailed in the guide above.
Please note this: range defence gear isn't useful here because the tar monster that attacks you here uses a typeless attack, so you cant defend against him!
