@@theoswinscow All professional Belgian cycling journalists/broadcasters butcher the Scandinavian names. Wærenskjold becomes Weehrenskyult for the majority of them. They completely made that up themselves, as it is not even close to how it would be read in natural Dutch/Flemish. I don't understand why they don't to a small effort and ask some native speakers on how to pronounce the names correctly. On a sidenote: æ is phonetically not that hard for Flemish people. It even is present in multiple dialects.
Wat denkt je? Zou UAE vanaf de start van de tour vol gas geven om Vingegaard het gelijk lastig te maken na zijn val of houden ze het rustig met de Giro van Pogacar in het achterhoofd?
Hi Benji, any news from the devs about fixing the Sprints? This bug made me lay the game to the side and wait...strong demotivation to know, that it is nearly impossible to win in a sprint. Love that you came back to the series anyway!
From the steam page Investigations showed it's not a new problem, but the cause has been in the game for several years. This does not mean the problem was necessarily as visible, because as always any other effect may have influence on that and could either soften or make it worse. The cause is essentially a problem from the "Acceleration" attribute and how it's utilized in the engine. When you are well protected in the wheel of your pilot and he still has red energy, and suddenly you start your sprint: you have kind of a double penalty: Wind effect: sprinter loses wind protection. ACC effect: sprinter takes some time to reach max power (depending on ACC's value). So while your pilot is at maximum or nearly maximum power, you have your sprinter far from his maximum value AND penalized by the wind : this is enough for him to lose a few meters to his pilot, instead of passing him directly as you would expect! The lower the ACC value is for the sprinter, the more we see the problem.
@@upthebracket26 okay, thanks for the explanation. Sounds kind of awful tbh. Any ideas how to work around it in gameplay? If this Problem is "old", hard to hope it will get better soon.
