Aww thank you! My son is a foodie. He tells it like it is and he LOVED all the Vietnamese food. He was so full and fell asleep as soon as he got in a grab🤪lol. The tour Guide Chris is awesome! He’s from Ha Foods Tour. Now I know why he got great reviews on TripAdvisor👌
I have traveled extensively to Asia in 2017, 2018 and 2019 which included Vietnam and Hanoi 3x. Your son describes the food better than many adult youtuber's! I was impressed! He is probably already a foodie and will grow up to be a professional foodie!
Ahhh sounds like you’re a traveler! Love it! I just read your comment to my son and it put a HUGE smile on his face!😃(thank you😭)I don’t think he realizes how honest and genuine he is when he describes dishes. Oh my goodness this boy LOVES food! It’s great for traveling because he gets to try SO many flavors from around the world🌎🙌
husband back again 20 minutes later - I just watched Phil & Brooklyn's food tour for the 2nd time. I knew more of what to look for after having just watched your march through the food market. Amazing that it was Dad & son and Dad & daughter. I hope I can find more videos of each family's travel in the same area - 😁
Awww🥹my husband just read your comment aloud to the family and I teared up😭🥲you just made our day! Wow! Thank you soooo much for your thoughtful words. Means so much to us. Can’t wait to visit Canada one day!🇨🇦 My favorite show is from there: Workin’ Moms🤪🫶
You no need to comments in your video, because the tourist guy did it very well 🤣. He know everything of history and food in Vietnam. I'm Vietnamese, thanks for the interested video.
Awww you just made our day!!!🥹😭Oh my goodness! Thank youuuuuu SO much for the love! Visiting Vietnam has truly been life changing for our family. I hope more people come to visit this beautiful country (including you☺️).🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶
Haha. Right? Nelvine and Knox are still talking about their Vietnam tour. They really liked the guide, Chris too. He was more than just a food guide. He was sooo knowledgeable.
We are loving Vietnam!! Great energy🇻🇳Yes, Chris is amazing! He’s not just a food tour guide but also a very knowledgeable guide in general. Especially about Hanoi culture and lifestyle. Such a great guy!
@@MomDuty And he's also very proud of the historical legacy of his Vietnamese people and culture. He understands very well the struggle his people went through; invasions after invasions, colonizations, subjugation, and a lot more. I think your son is getting a rich history on top of the fantastic food he's delighting in, and he will never forget. Thank you for introducing him and yourselves to such a gorgeous culture. I've always admired the Vietnamese people since childhood and their food is beyond incredible.
Thank you for the well wishes! We love food. Especially Vietnamese dishes. The best garlic bok choy I’ve ever had! Nelvine and Knox, are the foodies and loved the food tour. They can’t stop talking about it🤪🤤
Awesome video! I wish my young boys were so open minded. Lol. My wife and I are going to Vietnam in April 2024 - if I could do that exact same food tour with your guide I'd be over the moon. Hopefully he still works there when we go! Keep up the great work.
You MUST do this tour with Chris. Just look up Ha Food Tours and ask for him. He’s so passionate about his country and the food he introduces you to is delicious! Nelvine and Knox still talk about it being the best food tour in the world.
How exciting?!!!!! Is it your first time? I’m trying to convince my family to move to Hanoi. I absolutely love the energy, the people and especially the food. Please message me if you have any questions. Maybe I can help with any recommendations🇻🇳🫶👍👍👍
husband speaking - 2 Oct 23 6 pm Pacific Time - raining but what else in Wash. State. the Food Tour would be too much for me - I definitely can not eat as much as when I was young. Your two youngsters are similar to the Lockwood kids - they will try anything. I could not have ever done that when I was their age - and I do not care for sea food. What both family's kids are able to experience in your travels is truly amazing. I grew up in a small town and at age five or six I got to go to Yellowstone Natl. Park. Usually our trips were to Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo. I can remember the animals in small cages - which are frowned on today, this being 75 years ago. The Zoo trip was usually the day before school started - my mother would take me -
Oh you are going to have the most amazing time! I’m so excited for you and your family! Visiting Vietnam with my family has truly been life changing for all of us. Please let me know if I can help with anything or if you have any questions at all. We visited Saigon, Hoi An and Hanoi🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
Thank you for the reply. Been watching your Vietnam travels and learning lots. Yes this will be a life changing family vacation. I'm living through you guys atm 🙏👍🙌 safe travels my friend ☺️
Oh good! I’m glad. Again if you come across any questions feel free to email me. It’s info@momdutyla.com or message me on Instagram: @momduty. I cannot wait for you to experience Vietnam!🇻🇳And especially Hoi An. It’s magical. It’s one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever seen around the world. What a gift you’re giving your family🙏
That’s great to hear!!!! Isn’t it so good and fresh?! What’s your favorite Vietnamese dish? We’ve been eating non stop over here, especially my son. He has this appreciation for food. He is such a FOODIE!🤪My li man🥰
So refreshing to see your kids willing to try the food and truly enjoy it; a rarity amongst kids whom grew up in the US. Now I'm curious which 2 foods were left on the tour that you didn't get to try. I'm curious if you guys will go to snail street and try all the seafood there. I think you'll love it.
Oh thank you! I love that about Knox and Nia too. They will try everything at least once. They have definitely evolved over the years while we’ve been traveling the world. The two foods weren’t on the initial list. They were supposed to be a surprise. So we don’t know what they were. But Knox was so done. His lil tummy could t handle any more🇵🇭🤪
Chris, our tour guide from Ha Foods Tour is the best! He’s got so many 5 star reviews on TripAdvisor. Just an overall super nice guy. I highly recommend him if you’re ever out here.
Hi Peter! Thanks so much for the love! She has a very sensitive stomach and has a acid reflux. We figured out it was cheese that gave her a stomach ache. It went away after a couple of days. Last time we were in Vietnam my son got sick from cheese. Not sure if it’s a coincidence🙈
Right? The absolute best!🤤The pho is so fresh. Now I can’t have it anywhere else in the world. I’m officially spoiled with pho from Vietnam😆🍲🤤🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
Oh thank you so much! You’re so nice🥹Oh my goodness…that is a hard question. Our first impressions of Vietnam began in Saigon. We LOVED District 3 because of the architecture and the food. Tons of coffee shops and beautiful buildings. Hoi An is magical and truly life changing. But I fell in love with Hanoi. The energy is INCREDIBLE! I enjoyed the big developed city feel but also with a strong sense of culture with lots of greenery around. So hard to explain it. But you can feel how strong the community is there. People are super kind! The nightlife is vibrant! Great for any age from kids, teenagers, young adults, couples, families, business men/women, retirees.
Yessssss! We want to! Currently, working on the plans to get there. We were actually on our way to India when the pandemic hit in 2020 and borders closed on us. We’ve been wanting to visit for years😭😭😭😭🫶🇮🇳
You should leave. Nobody cares about your opinion. If you did stay for 2 years without food, it’s something wrong with your brain. I guess during 2 years, you eat bugs to survive.
Oh my goodness. You’re the first person I know who has said that. We loooooooove the food here. Flavorful, fresh, affordable. I actually want to move to Hanoi. Visiting Vietnam for over a month has truly been life changing. I never want to leave😭🫶🥹
@@MomDuty i will be in hanoi next year and i want to be in walking distance off all the famous landmarks and vibrant nightlife. is it better to be in the old quarter? thanks. super video by the way
