MnK helps a lot with movement, especially for those 180° turn you do which are completely unpredictable. But the reason I really like this vid is because it gives insights on what you actually do in the game. The amount of data you process which are not even observable by common people is just crazy. Nothing is random, you are in total control of movement and space. Nature made you a gift and you made it to us by streaming and content creating. Gg bro.

This is probably one of the most beneficial tip videos for Warzone that I have ever watched… u did a great job explaining everything and yes even basic COD player can learn these movements after watching
This mechanic is kinda old, by the time, the redeploy drones came back, this mechanic was there, its now just a common sense :) You just muscle memory jump before the zip, well - me for the fact - always jump before the zip, it skips the animation :) it more quick, an you just get gone of the grass :) just that, nothing else :) another question that is bothering me for some time now, is why they melee the zip before grabbing it? what does that give to you? for me - i did not spot the difference if i melee or not before grabbing the zip
@@martynasm8112 someone said that it gives extra momentum, but I do not really believe it because I’ve seen only one person melee while zip jumping and the me who does doesnt appear to be getting any benefits i could be wrong tho
you found grounded mantle after a week of the game being out and nobody has been talking about it i added it to my gameplay a while ago from you and its helped alot keep in mind im a very slow player and only play for wins and this helps me so much thank you

7:20 For the zip-line jump, idk if its a console thing (im on console) but you cant hold foward when you jump otherwise you hit the top of the zip and it pushes you away so far. What I learned was right before you jump, you hold your left stick back and then as soon as you jump you push it forward to avoid going back too much and it would literally look the same as when the pros do it. Hope im not the only one experiencing this... (I want pc soo bad lol 💀)

Nio, you make a comment that simply tact sprinting or slide canceling isn't the fastest way around the map. I think your point is to jump while sprinting, then as you land go into a slide. It certainly looks cool, and it breaks up your movement so that maybe you are a more difficult target. The best way to test this is load up a MP map and pick a route that circles the outside of the map. I tried slide canceling, and just tact sprinting initially. Both of these methods have almost no difference in time. Today I tried your method of tact sprinting, jumping, and going into a long slide and then starting the whole thing over again. The jump/slide method took almost exactly the same time as the other two. Jumping and sliding is more fun but you are not moving around the map any faster. Give it a try.
fantastic guide. i had long since abandoned cod (cod1 and 2) for apex due to a completely misconceived notion that movement just wasn't a thing in cod. utterly revelatory, you have restored a favorite game to me in a whole new way, ty ty ty.

Hell yes, this is definitely going to help my game. I've been using grounded mantle, but didn't fully understand it until this video, it's going to be a game changer! I'm going from 5 kills a game to hanging with you, Aydan, Biffle, & even Scump in MP - ok, that may be a bit much, but it's definitely adding some super useful movement to my game! You're a good guy, Nio, I don't care what that Welsh bloke Marco says!

One important thing i learnt with the zip line mechanics is, I find it's important to look up to the ledge that you need to dismount to. If you don't look up it doesn't dismount correctly and you can't see the correct height to dismount accurately.

The things is that , I saw u guys keeping doing the change of weapon during the slide canceling , and the only way to do it is to have the scuf control with 4 paddel on the back

I find it most easy to slide cancel by pressing r3 for dlide and then cancelling it with sprint or l3 by clicking once.. keeps my finger on the right thumbstick and shit works i never see anyone saying this option
For slide cancelling hitting jump used to mess me up so I triple tapped B or circle and worked the same at times I still do it but I’ve gotten used to the reguslr slide jump bc it’s faster but at times I notice I’m still triple tapping B bc that’s what I did on mw2019
Spontaneous parachute deploys when spamming jump close to edges I want to mantle onto still kill my movement even though I binded the deployment on a different button. You ever experience that?
Just got back into warzone. I quit not long after the cold war integration, and tried to give mw2 warzone a chance and absolutely hated it. This version of warzone is much better, and after getting a few meta weapons leveled up I can even say I enjoy the game now. I also don't just outright lose gunfights anymore against controllers compared like in mw2. AA is still pretty strong , but I no longer feel like my skill is completely negated b/c of TTK, visual recoil, poor character and map visibility, or nerfed movement. Thanks for making this, I prefer to watch other mouse and keyboard players. Much of the content around this game is controller centric, so I can't exactly abuse aim assists like these ppl do 😂 As a big apex fan, I like the direction cod is going with for movement
First time watching your stuff. I’ve never seen any other streamer/pro give the grounded mantle tip. In fact, I always hear the opposite. Idk if they just don’t know, or are hiding it. Either way, thanks for sharing. That mechanic looks crazy in the in-game clips. You flew across the room over that evil Groot/Gaia skin, that was wild.
