Hi Guys, great vlog as usual. We also prefer Aldi. We try to have a theme night at least once per week. This includes the food, supposed drinks and a bit of a dress up. Noticed, you have the tow hooks on the van. I have them on the truck as I have multiple trailers / Van. Keep Safe.
The maybe hooks are great, make the job much easier. Sometimes I do themed weeks, like Mexican as it uses alot of the same ingredients so it can save $$$. Never go as far as dressing up though 😅

Oh an artesian bath would be heaven right now, I've had a full on week patching up rust in a new to us trailer ready to go away next weekend. One last job to do on it now to wire in the new numberplate light and a couple of jobs on the Vitara now
Great vid ... One day..... Interested in tyre pressures.. we run 40f and 50R cold and goes to 44F and around 59R Hot... most we could put tires down to is 30F and 40R ? Yokahama Geolander LT Tires.
@Accolades70 you should be seeing around 4 to 5 psi increase as you warm up. Sounds like you could use a bit more in the rear tyres, try 54psi. But it also tells me you are very heavy in the rear as I don't normally have to recommend pressures over 50 on the rear of the vehicle. However it does come down to the tyre load rating and I don't have that info so I can't be sure.

Hi mate. They put on road safe recovery points. We have the factory nudge bar and apparently it wasn't easy for them to fit the recovery points as it took them several hours to do it.
Hi guys, I always enjoy your videos. Great work! A question I have is that you said you were going to drop your van tyres down to 35 PSI. I do the same but my iCheck deflators only deflate to a range of 10-30 PSI. How do you go with that or are yours different? Thanks and safe travels.
It appears that towbar loops to hook onto are too big not allowing the spring part of the Mawby hook to fully return...not sure if it is an issue though as I don't use that type of hook.
Yes I was waiting for this comment. I tried to put the hooks on from the opposite side to allow the camera to have an angle. I wasn't able to see from my angle that it hadn't closed up properly, of course I corrected this off camera.
its just modified from overland exposures internet kit. Search overland exposure internet if you want to see it but honestly there are better and cheaper things out there.
The campsite cost was too expensive for my tastes.....big problem with going North in WA = the further north you go the more expensive campsites, food, fuel become....no real justification for it just that it has always been that way, so they keep doing it.
Yeah tell me about it. We're currently paying $64 a night right now at a station bush camp. The only thing provided is a disgusting pit toilet. It's really out of control the prices of some of these stations. For this reason alone we can't wait to leave WA.
@@SvedosTrippin There are still some free good places North of Perth, but they are few and far between e.g. Billabong Roadhouse has a free park (250km south of Carnarvon - you can even use the toilets and showers) roadside park up opposite Minilya Roadhouse (130km north of Carnarvon - basically the Exmouth turnoff - long drop toilet)...but apart from that there are many gravel pit type parkups.......caravan parks unfortunately are mostly a rip-off north of Perth. Tourist operators = Why don't tourists' holiday in their own state instead of going overseas.....look at your pricing tourist operators....5-star hotels can be had overseas for what you charge for a 20-foot-long by 8-foot-wide piece of dirt as a parkup....and let's not get into fuel, groceries, restaurant food prices. Rant over ...lol
@@SvedosTrippin And then you get places like Kimba in South Australia that has a great council provided RV park with plenty of flat land, fantastic camp kitchen, flush toilets, hot showers at a min cost where you can stay for up to 6 days as a donation type parkup....lessons to be learnt WA tourist operators. Oh, and the local fuel cost in Kimba is way cheaper than all places north of Perth.
@@kadachiman7234Kimba has done a magnificent job. I do alot of driving through there but only ever stopped for fuel. Now I spend the night and as a result spend more money in the town. There's a lesson in that for MANY other places
I hava a question. Use look around 50 ish. Do your kids do online school in the van. I'm sure U have covered that in a video can U show Hahah forgot about that question I just seen them online. Hahah so good U a answer my question. How many hrs they do online
