The impressive thing that I saw in this video is the freedom of the children walking around at a very young age crossing streets being responsible for other children it was amazing I’ve been to Israel but not this part
I've noticed that too. Children can walk in peace without their parents. Wow, that's awesome cause in big cities like NYC or Chicago they are a taken never to be seen again. Wow, God bless Israel and the people of the book. I love Israel.
I’ve been to Israel 🇮🇱 twice and I’ve walked through Bnei Brak a few times. Only during the week, not during Shabbat and never alone. A very interesting place. I was stared at (even though I wore an ankle-length skirt and covered my hair) but was never harassed which I was very thankful for. Thank you for sharing this video. Brings back memories of my visit to Israel 🇮🇱.
I’ve always been fascinated with Israel and find these videos very relaxing and informative. I enjoy seeing people going about their day to day. Thnx for posting
The colourful metal boxes on lampposts, bus stops, and street corners are actually _charity_ boxes. Despite being somewhat economically depressed, the city of bnei brak is a tremendously charitable one.
A lot of New York vibes with the traffic, horns honking, busses. Wouldn’t be surprised if half of them are visiting from Borough Park, Crown Heights😂 Only thing missing from this and NY is there are constant sirens from NYPD and ambulances and I didn’t hear it once in this video
In 28:37 a toddler walking alone, maybe her father is a man far front pushing a baby cart, I suppose this city is so secure that you see children crossing avenues alone. God bless them.
Thank you again, l am learning a lot about the different religious cultures within lsreal. This would be my way of living, if l were in lsreal. I too, am jewish, and thankful to be one.!❤
7:40 the blue bins the woman stands next to are not trash bins, they are "geniza" - when Jewish people's holy books get worn out, they are carefully and lovingly buried, never thrown in the dump.
@@mrsoft6884 I was about to move back to vancouver this year . Lol .Its a shame since its such a beautiful place. I lived there for years and had a few run ins with the junkies .They even broke into my apartment .so I'm already used to it .
I live in St. Louis Missouri USA and finding a street to walk on and shop on so freely and peacefully and also bustling, such as this, is hard to find.
I always cant understand the “spiritual” meaning of formal rules such as to wear a specific suit, keep a long beard or wear a veil, but this is my limitation linked to my ignorance, the important thing is the peace and the freedom to follow one's belief anytime and anywhere, shalom
Bendito sea Israel!!
Thanks for all of your hard work and videos!!! Especially appreciate when you focus on the ultra orthodox! Find them so intriguing!!! This one was a winner!!! Keep it up!

@Kafa kafica SAD for them. CHRIST JESUS, THE TRUE & ONLY JEWISH MESSIAH/ YESHUA HAMASHIACH *IS RETURNING IN POWER, GREAT GLORY, & JUDGEMENT ON ALL UNBELIEVING, UNREPENTANT SINNERS. # TIME TO REPENT & BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
@Kafa kafica MESSIANIC CHRISTIANS = BELIEVERS IN YESHUA HAMASHIACH; THE RETURNING MESSIAH & ETERNAL SON OF GOD = GOD IN THE FLESH *IN HIS INCARNATION. JESUS/YESHUA HAMASHIACH CAME TO REDEEM MANKIND FROM THE WAGES OF SIN...WHEN HE OFFERED HIMSELF UP AS THE 'PERFECT SACRIFICE....The LAMB OF GOD WITHOUT SPOT OR BLEMISH....ATONING FOR THE SINS OF ALL WHO BELIEVE IN HIM: SURRENDER & SUBMIT TO HIS LORDSHIP & REPENT OF THEIR SINS 'IN JESUS NAME'.
I love the way the children are to each other. They take care of there younger brother and sister....Not many children in the world are like this they show so much love and respect to each other and they behave so good...Bless them all....
Thanks for great video as always👍 It's been two years exactly since I visited Israel, my phone keeps reminding me with the pictures I took whilst there which makes me eager to return again. The one thing that amazed me whilst walking through Bnei Brak were the charity boxes, they seemed to be attached to everything. Keep up the great work 😁
I feel you ! Been there in 2019 too was supposed to go back 2020 ,didn't work out then 2021 bought tickets and again didn't work 😑praying hard for everything to normalize again 🙏
There's lots of kids walking alone lol reminds me of the culture in Japan where kids as young as 6 can walk safely to the shops to buy something for their parents
LOVE watching your videos from California. I dream of being able to get on a plane and come to Israel. I will probably never get the opportunity to visit. So watching on my big screen is the closest I can get. This video was really something! Got me thinking... The city looks incredibly safe. So many happy looking children playing and walking on the streets. Wow. Yes- Very safe city. The men seem to have a very strict dress and hair code. Where did it originate from? The women appear to have more freedom in how they dress, even though extremely modest. Looks like a very tight knit, extremely religious community. Reminds me of the Amish in America. Though I am struck at how old and run down some of the buildings and sidewalks look. It seems like there IS much financial wealth and money in this city... nice cars parked everywhere... lots of people out shopping... Some streets look more well maintained, newer, renovated and cleaner than others. Looks like many older inner cities in USA... only way safer. And happier, I'd say. ;-)
Most of the women shave of there natural hair and wear wigs or a head scarf once married.. I find this quite strange. The headscarf or a wig - referred to in Yiddish as a shekel - they signal to their surroundings that they are married and that they comply with traditional notions of propriety. You can tell which ones are wigs if you look closer usually collar length Bob sort of style 🤷🏽♀️
The Ultra-Orthodox need to vary their genetics, as they all (or many) have bad eyesight and need to wear spectacles. I really enjoy all your work, thank you.
The ultra orthodox is like people in small towns in Usa and Mejíco, they get married with cousin. The Bible prohibet to get married with cousin or any person of the family.
@@yaheladom2440 It was the same in the UK until the transport revolution which enabled people to travel easily and meet people from other villages. This improved human genetics, There is an important reason that G-d blest Jacob with twelve sons from 4 wives, and not many figure it out, it meant that their genetics had fewer mutations.
The "taliban" of Israel are relatively peaceful, compared to the taliban of Afghanistan, guess that has absolutely nothing to do with the religion... Right?
