In defense of none of the siblings coming to Diego’s defense at the table, we have to remember that they all grew up with the same childhood, all suffered the abuse of their father. Its very possible that they were afraid that if they spoke up, that they would suffer the same abuse Diego was getting in that moment. Don’t get me wrong, they still either could have made more of an effort to try, or the writers/director/whoever could have done a better job at conveying an inner conflict like that.

Seeing them in a healthy, or at least as much as they can be, family dynamic made me so happy. Especially for Vanya, who had her brothers and sister by her side this time

This has been the toughest 2 weeks for five, also did you guys notice the emotion in his face when he was about to fight vanya? He looked like he was about to cry.

Explain to me this: When Five first arrives to the new destination, in the midst of an outright war, he sees the versions of his siblings had he not returned further back to stop the war and the apocalypse. But that version of his siblings shows them united, expertly trained with their powers to a new level, and working for the American government. This implies that when they arrived in the past they somehow came together under the government's UMBRELLA, and trained their abilities up a notch or two. When Five goes just ONE week into the past, still a couple of years to a few months of being stuck in the past for the others, all of his siblings are still separate, still with the regular-level powers they had last season, and some at great odds with the local authorities and very far from working for the military. Even more than that, Vanya is still amnesic. Assuming Five didn't jump a week into the past, the gang should have been able to transform all that much within a week. How?

I dont think Rob would want to do a spin off because he doesnt want to be pidgin holed. Or at least thats why he left misfits. Idk if thats still his stance.

I just gotta say. Luther is one of my favorites. I think the numbers of each of them kind of represent all the tropes of main characters in stories (especially hero teams). Superman would be a number 1 (stereotypical good guy hero), batman is a number two (rivals number 1, has a darker element to him), wonder woman is number 3, etc. Being the stereotypical "hero" leader role (number 1), luthor is kind of plain compared to the others. Season 2 handled Luther with way more jokes and he felt way more background this season but I still liked what they did with him. We got a lot of him in season 1. He was kinda funny then but not as much as season 2. I think it was smart actually. The stereotypical hero thing (typical "number 1" story role) is a trope that people know and make fun of (aka superman and the jokes that come his way constantly). People give him shit cuz humans "dont act like that". I think they successfully subverted people's ridicule of "number ones" with humor of their own. A real life "number 1" would get that treatment from others so I think it fits well. Luther is the man!

i only hope that they don’t overuse the time concept, both going too far into the future or too far into the past can get pretty old, pretty quick. i did enjoy this season, but considering the show is aiming to have more seasons i hope it continues to bring fresh new ideas and characters into the show, and not just ‘uh oh we messed up again’.

this season was great! I'm so excited to see how this show will develop. But I have to get something out there: My character ranking: 1. Ben (because he is just the cutest human being, and what he did for Vanya T_T) 2. Diego (please give this dude a break, the first woman he liked got killed, the second betrayed him and then the family reunion dinner with their father T_T) 3. Klaus (dude tries to save the love of his life, but ultimitely dooms him, talks to dead people all the time and accidently starts a cult, I'd be an addict too) 4. Vanya (keeps getting rejected and excluded by her family and has to try to deal with powers she didn't know she had since her childhood and instead of helping her her family considers several times to murder her) 5. Five (he tries everything to save his family and prevent the apocalypse, also he makes funny comments, but that's about it to his character) 6. Allison (i didn't like Allison in the first season and that hasn't much improved since, the only thing i thought was interesting about her storyline was their civil rights movement and when she first arrived in the 1960's cause she was a black woman in a racist city that couln'd talk, but they didn't show very much of that) 7. Luther (they could've made more with his character than hey did, the only storylines he ever had were 'i'm half ape' and 'I'm in love with Allison', that's it, there's absolutely nothing to his character) I don't want to provoke arguments, but I'd love to know other peoples favorite characters.

Small note: I don’t think diego’s ability is as unlimited as having telekinesis, I think he just control metal to an extent that hasn’t been explored/explained yet. Considering that he manipulates the dagger/blade which is metal and stops the bullets which are also metal. My theory from the start was that he manipulates the metal rather than the object entirely.
