I live not far away from bled. Like 15min with a car. And i've got to say i've Seen it a 1000 times but its still one of the most beautiful places around. Glad you enjoyed!
Hi Grega, lovely to hear from you! You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world and such a great country. We were in awe of Lake Bled, Ljubljana and Slovenia in general. I think we will return to Lake Bled many times in the future. Thanks for dropping a message 🙂 Hope your well.
Have you heard about issues with there being not enough buses to get tourists back to Ljubljana at the end of a busy weekend/Saturday? I will be leaving lake bled later on a Saturday at the end of august and hope to not encounter this issue that previous RU-vidrs have mentioned. I’m also willing to take the train.
@@ashbreault4474 hi Ash, We did have any issues with the transports at any point in our stay but we were in Ljubljana mid September so it would be quieter around that time. Sorry we can’t be much help.
I went there 15yrs ago with TUI on a £150 half board holiday in march... The weather was amazing... We walked round the lake. Went cross country skiing.... We caught a train to the capital.... That had great architecture... But a weird amount of graffiti
I used to live in Slovenia for a year before moving to the UK. Watching your video makes me wish to move back. Slovenia is absolutely beautiful, small Switzerland they call it. :D I am glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully, you've been to Kranjska Gora, if not, you have to go back.
Hiya Tamera, The country is absolutely beautiful, we watched back some of the footage of Slovenia and said we must go back! How long did you live there for and what’s your thoughts now your in the UK? Do you think it was the right decision to move? Hope your well 🙂
@@danandmarissa I lived there for a year before moving to the UK, but I travel a lot before because I lived in Serbia and my partner is from Slovenia. The UK was a good choice at the time, but it was never a permanent plan for us. So, we plan to go back to Europe. It will be Switzerland with a lot of visits to Slovenia
That sounds amazing! We have never been to Switzerland but we only hear good things. You seem to be really free to move around and live in different countries! That’s the dream.
@@danandmarissa I am not as free as I would love to be but on my way to securing a remote job which would mean that I could explore more places, and hopefully be able to move more. I find it challenging and beautiful to live in a place for at least a year, it seems like the only way to really meet the culture. Where do you guys plan to go next? :D
It’s something we still haven’t managed to do yet, live long term in another country but it’s something we’re planning on and working towards. We have another trip to Turkey booked in September this year but we have alot of videos to put together in the mean time! Good luck with the Up and coming remote working! 😊
Hi Mel! 🙂 It’s honestly one of the most beautiful places we have been. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and the people are all so friendly. It’s like being in a fairy tale 😄 We hope your well!
Hi Emma, We stayed in an Airbnb just a few minutes walk from Lake Bled. The host were amazing and the apartment was perfect for us 😊 I’ve added a link below, hope this is helpful. abnb.me/VpjTkFfW1rb
