I was watching England play you guys with some friends and about 20 minutes in the first chant happened. We had the TV loud, and the sound of you guys was so intense that we all went quiet and looked at each other in shock. It's actually intimidating to hear through the TV, I can't image what it's like in a stadium. Well done guys - you have every reason to feel proud. You added a much needed bright side to the tournament after the violent beginning. From a sad England fan.

Kinda funny though, everyone talks about Iceland as fairly tale of 2016 but the fact is Iceland has been playing good football for the last 5 years or so. I remember in 2014 when they lost to Croatia in the Play off to the WC 20114 Final I was sad but also knew at the same time that next time fro Euros these guys are going to do some magic has been following them ever since. I wouldn't say I'm a big football fan but I was at Wembley in 1966 and I saw England win the World cup. It's all been downhill since then. When I first saw Iceland play I had nothing but admiration for their guts and determination. It certainly wasn't luck. They earned their place in Euro 2016. Iceland qualified for the Finals by beating the Netherlands twice, Turkey and the Czech Republic losing only 2 matches out of 10. Even with only 16 contenders they would have qualified. They finished 2nd in their group beating Austria. (Not to mention they came back against Portugal). I take my hat off to you guys, (don't tell anyone but I cheered loudly when you beat England) Respect to you. """Duglegur"""

Massive respect to Iceland from Sweden! You show that playing with your heart can take you extremely far. In Sweden the Iceland-England game had more viewers than any of our own three games. It might be because Sweden has been pure shit in football the last ten years, but I'd rather believe it's because we all love true heroes that over and over again beats all odd with heart, team spirit and skills.
