Please note that not all black people abroad are like that... Hope younger poeple watching this will not assume that dark skin or being a black people is bad. Black kids you are wonderful and will always be as anyone.
It's hard because in my community many older Asians treat us as if we are criminals from meeting us, they arevery fearful, but it's from watching stuff like this. Then we get mad and treat them unwell and it becomes a vicious cycle. Our portrayal in movies like this is just as bad as how Americans used to portal Asians in our movies. It needs to stop
I was thinking the same thing. They could have made a man of Asian descent the thief but chose a black man. I don't know if this was on purpose but it's definitely something to be addressed.
@@sarahsouth2987 it's merely the inverse of the tanning at all cost orange spray tan culture in the West. Whatever is harder to accomplish shows you have the means, and is therefore more culturally preferred.
Lol, I watched this, but as soon as I got to ep 25ish skipped a few to get to the end and watching this clip and then searching I realized this was one that I missed. It was good but loonnngggg. There is a happy ending with some bittersweet twists for some characters so you won't think you wasted so many hours of your life.
@@Thorfinn_Vinland not everyone allow to have them in the gang because there is rank they only do that to attract younger members to be honest according to Anton. ... "They sign their tattoos, The Yakuza believed more pain in the tattoo and a larger tattoos meant that the member had a higher commitment to the group but this is just china gang so you won’t see tho type of tattoos.
I hope you know that yakuza are in hiding since police are always on the look out for them even their business are very hidden so this day it is only high ranking yakuza get full body tatts
Very good scene, saw the part up to where the lady meets the old man, so it was nice to see the lady get her bag and belongings back. Japanese are very honorable esp the older generation so the old man feels indebted to the lady for saving his life, plus it looks like he a very high ranking member of the Japanese crime family. He is Honor bound to repay the lady for saving his life.
It’s a c-drama and the Chinese culture is homogenous. They depict foreign people or places in a negative light whenever they can. I promise you the writers did it on purpose to reenforce a fear of outsiders, gets them extra points with the CCP
Except this incident didn't happen in Japan. From the type of building you can tell it's a western country. A little bit of looking and it turns out it's in Paris. The amount of ppl jumping to conclusions in this thread are ridiculous.

@@user-il7sk4iq6y the point is the only black character they had, was the theft. We are tired of being portrayed this way! A lot of asians are already really racist towards black or brown people. This portrayals like this just adds fuel to the fire. You may feel diffidently, but it's not your place to tell a black person how to feel
Portrayals of blacks in the media as criminals in this situation thief continues to increase ill minded stereotypes. Especially traveling abroad or even in the United States, we are not treated as humans because of these stereotypes. Black people have feelings and this was absolutely terrible. I do hope people watching are educated enough to realize this. I will criticize the movie and its production team for casting a black person in a dominant asian series as a criminal. As the previous comment mentioned, I hope everyone does not automatically have ill intent and hatred towards black people.
Achei desnecessário eles usarem uma pessoa negra pra falar que era o ladrão, poderiam ter usado um asiático mesmo, mas existe um cultura racista na Ásia muito forte, espero que isso mude completamente
it isnt wrong to use a person of colour. but based on other people's perspective, it isnt racist. after all, the man agrees to play the role. he knew what he was getting in for.

That dude is tryna act cool with some chains around his neck but is more timid than the girl 😂( GF)? Am not inspired even to start watching this drama 😌 . BTW someone can tell me the main storyline of the drama if ur interested n got time 😚😂
Sigh. Why is a black man made out to be the purse snatcher? I mean yay an actor of color got some good camera time in a C-drama but come on! Can't even.
Good but I hate the fact that the ONLY black guy is the thief 🤦🏿♀️ Ppl believe the media when they have no other references. We aren't all criminals but I can see why ppl react this way when I watch tv 🥺😩
Why don't people screaming racism here watch and understand the whole thing and not just this small part. In Hollywood and other films, they also make Asians as villains but it's not really a big deal. A lot of Chinese series have more white people as villains. You watch a small part and cry racism like hell!
