lol i went to high school with Marlon aka "Issa" smh he was never in school and always high lmbo but he was incredibly smart. He wouldn't study come to class and get 90's on everything but i don't think he really cared for school...his head was in the clouds, literally. The teachers would prob get on him about it cause he was smart. He's always been a sweetheart im proud of him n i wish all the success to him and his partner ... its so weird seeing him do all this but im proud nonetheless lol. His stuff is dope. He got it. Besos xoxox
I really really fucken loved this interview I can relate to 100% of everything being said The Underachievers are the shit the world needs more artists like this
Sal Mule lol and your not that 4 sure!!!!!!!!!!! fucken dum ass u should not even listen to that music your to ignorant probably working for a co. or in fucken school sale mule de marde lol
lolol your right...im french so... u know and im not saying Isaa is not the bomb...it's just that the inspiration he got is the same you can get if you re-center reel deep inside oneness baby!!! everything is equal...just never at the same time...
they changed alot in terms of their music/meaning, and AK went more independent. Listen to "It Happened in Flatbush" and you'll know exactly wtf I'm talking about. Evermore and Indigoism were dope projects. AK's new tape "Blessings in the Grey 2" was amazing too.
When people start realizing that the power of people/unity is larger than the power of the dollar and the laws that are used to suppress creativity and freedom and actually do something about it that is when I believe you can truthfully say to anyone/everyone you can do anything you want
Man I see you comment on all these guys stuff and I can tell you these dudes ain't good role models my man.... And it sounds like you also do to much drugs my friend... Straight up I bet your a major loser in real life and you use all these"spiritual" stuff to make yourself feel purpose..
Lol Fuck you guys define being aware of your surroundings please?. And they aren't good role models simply because they are from the ghetto they are not educated in real life the only "education" they have is shit they've thought up from drug trips which if fucking garbage looking up to rappers that get majority of the content they rap about from doing drugs is pathetic!!!! Look up to people who have actually put in HARD WORK and changed the world and people who are intelligent that have got they're intelligents through books, travel and simply from living and experiencing the world... Now if you think that is stupid shit then you sir are absolutely nothing in life and in the grand scheme of things. Your merely garbage and have amounted to nothing and will amount to nothing. 😊
I wonder if AK ever gets annoyed with Issa cutting him off… like Issa has soooo many great things to say and is very knowledgable and wise but I wanna hear what AK has to say too, haha.
sergio pino its true.. Issa does most of the talking but AK brings his message in his lyrics. they are so nasty i love them and they're incredible live seen them twice already can't wait for them to come back near my city!
But aren't they breaking up? I've been hearing this since cellar door dropped. Issa got bars though. AK too but if they had one to collab with Travis it'd be Issa. Travis does some crazy shit though. I can't really see a collab. It would be a surprise though.
131INFERNAPE nah they're not breaking up. they each did their own solo project and they now have a dope collab going with the flatbush zombies called clockwork indigo. honestly these guys are unpredictable with what they'll do next.
I know about Clockwork Indigo that came out like two months ago though. Ive been hearing this recently that they're breaking up because duos don't make it on XXL freshmen list and they wanna be on it. I know it sounds kind of dumb but i see that all over their videos in the comments
there some humble down to earth dudes thats whats up! there music is so damn raw and gritty this threw me off kinda lol reminds me of how montana of 300 makes gritty ass music but is humble and good hearted like this too, got a lot of respect for artists that make it out of the streets and better themselves instead of staying a goon and never changing there old ways
Definitely the best The Underachievers interview I have seen! Awesome questions. Everytime I really listen to their tunes I always think it would be amazing to interview them and hang out. Very excited for Part 2!

This is great info id like to start something similar and ill keep watching these guys they are currently a great influence to me! Thanks Underachievers!!
Strmnkz Auto-tune is used as an effect, not to improve his voice. Music is highly subjective, so our argument is impeccable. And by the way... When I said production I was referring to the instrumentals he's composing. Auto-tune is a part of engineering.
Strmnkz I thought we were talking about music? And just for the record, there's nothing wrong with having an admirable fashion sense. This discussion ends here, I'm no longer interested in sharing my thoughts.
Yea, AK is still way enlightened if you listen to his music, but I think he is more out there in a sense, almost as like Steez. Steez was so out of it, but if you asked him about it he could never explain, only thru music. Just like AK.
Very interesting questions and very professional how the interviewer is never a subject in the video. Very nice touch a lot of video interviews miss now a days
Wow, so interesting. Really enjoyed the interview. But was surprised that the "biggest lie", according to them, is that God is a separate entity from ourselves. While this is a common theme in pantheism, I was surprised to hear Issa claim this "lie"is responsible for the fall of mankind. From my perspective, as a believer in Jesus Christ, I believe the most harmful lie is quite the opposite That this humanistic belief that we are in fact "God", that we have no outside "Creator" or "spiritual authority" is the single most destructive idea under the sun, while also seemingly the most appealing concept to both the religious and non-religious. Not surprised to see that this worldview is so praised and unchallenged in the comment section. Still, I would love to have a sit down conversation with these guys. Cool to see young artists addressing life's existential questions.
These dudes smart as hell. Love these cats, and has anyone noticed any type of elevated rapper wants to work with Soul? Lol just noticed that, even Steez wanted to work with Soul before his death. RIP.
Word. These young cats know more than these old dudes promoting psychedelics to be able to be enlightened. It may help.. but it's not a super rocket to enlightenment. It takes work. Altough they speak on certain things with too much certainty. Learn to doubt. peace
I wish they did more interviews, they are really down to earth humble guys that drop knowledge and really good music, looking forward to there next project a lot
