The song was written by two 17 year old first year performing arts students last year following the death of 26 Lee Halpin. Lee died from Sudden Adult Death syndrome whilst making a film documentary about homelessness in Newcastle and the NE for channel 4. The song is a charity single to raise money for The Peoples Kitchen in Newcastle, where Lee last ate with homeless friends.
