The Underwhelming New Gen7 LPS U.S. Store Release 

very happy to the folks who have been able find them+ reviewing them! Hoping in time we will see them stay on the shelves or be on the shelves at all.

My target sold out before they even hit the shelves and they didn't even list them on the app- people went inside and asked for them from the back. Someone returned a tube of 3 and an employee found it in the back, which I was very grateful for! But man Basic Fun did NOT send any stores enough stock

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't find them lol. Honestly the release has been just so messy, I'm not sure if that's normal for a first release like this but man it's frustrating. Basic fun has not been transparent at all about what the deal is which I understand is probably a pr thing and some of it is out of their control, but the dates they've given us have basically just been "idk lol, you figure it out". I do probably care too much tbh but still.

The way they’re being released in the US is so weird too. Like a couple tubes and the blind boxes. I had to wake up at 7:30 and drive to a Target in a whole other town just to get the few I did. Before they released I told myself I was only buying them in stores because I never got to have those memories, but I never realized how many collectors would be in my area doing the same exact thing. I had to explain to the guy at GameStop why a girl came in and bought the whole case when I came in to look for them later that day. Overall disheartening, whether it’s the stores or Basic Fun’s situation(problem doesn’t really fit this and it’s no one’s fault just a tough situation). The stores typically order their stock from them, so I’m hoping this was just a test to see how they sold and make better plans for the next shipment. I went ahead and bought one of the sets online along with 10 blind boxes, hoping for no repeats and I’ll collect the others as I go because there’s no chance I’m finding a full blind box case. I kinda wish people would have been more considerate about that part and at least only took a few because we knew it was gonna be slightly limited. Although it is their money and that’s not my place to decide what they do with it.

I actually managed to find the blind boxes in my local gamestop, but not the full sets yet 😤

Fellow LPs friend here, I’ve also checked all of my targets and gamestops that we have. We couldn’t find them so I just ordered them online (some of them) it’s kinda frustrating with the release since it’s messy rn

As someone who lives in Europe (Ireland) there’s like no LPS collectors but still the one shop (that I’m aware stocks them) was selling super fast, they had only one shelf / display thingy which honestly basic fun should of sent more out

I’ve only seen them being sold in stores outside of the United States and even at a really good Walmart that wasn’t near my house I couldn’t find them.

the only lps I managed to find so far had been ripped open and stolen, but I’ll try again later

it’s especially frustrating when the store says they have them at their location online and when you go to purchase them the only way you can obtain them is by placing an online order 🙃 not anyone’s fault! hoping this is solved by the next release

I went to 3 Targets before I found them, and I picked out like 4 blind boxes and decided to put 2 back, and all the other boxes were GONE like within 15 minutes of me first grabbing them.
