Could you once make a challenge playthourgh where you ONLY use skills and spells that are normally never used? You said nobody likes eagle eye, but can you win a game with it? You also often call some spells interesting, but never use them. I have learned so much of this game from you, I would love to see if you can beat the game with "bad spells" alone. :)
I think calling spells "interesting" is just a polite way to call them bad. Because you're limited to casting one spell per turn in combat, you won't have the time to cast the "interesting" spells, you'll be casting the powerful ones that greatly change how the battle plays out (Slow/Haste/Resurrection/direct damage). A "bad skills/spells only" playthrough would end up just using strong creatures instead of relying on spells. Eagle Eye with "bad spells" specifically is anti-synergistic because the AI won't even cast the bad spells you could learn from them, they'll be spamming Slow/Haste/MagicArrow/LightningBolt which would all end up on the banned list anyway, and you'll never learn Mirth/Sorrow/Fortune/Misfortune from the AI (which would be the spells you're allowed to use). I have no doubt that Noro could win such a campaign, but it wouldn't be interesting to play or watch. (The game is so old at this point that the meta is mostly fully explored and it's unlikely we'll see some groundbreaking discovery.)
@@Padsoldier I would still like to learn what those unused skills do. Like, there is Dragon slayer spell in Homm2 that I have never seen anyone use. And as Eagle Eye and bad spells won't work together, Noro could easily have one hero with Eagle Eye and another hero with bad spells. I don't even care if the playthrough would heavily rest on the powerful creatures if the skills are still being showcased. :) And not all rarely used skills are bad, they can bring some different kind of strategies that I am certain Norovo knows more about than me.
I recently played some XL Random maps in H3 and, man, you really make it look much easier than it really is. The mental gymnastics needed to protect and expand my empire brought me nearly to a breaking point. 😅 Bit of a shame you don't find a way to equip your money/resource making artifacts - it's not much of an issue for you at your level, but it should be of great importance to greener players.
Hey! I am new to homm3 and the abyss Mod. I Love your content. I always see the Movement range (hex) of enemy . Is this a Plug in or a settings Option? Thx for your Help and sorry for my english. Greetings from Germany
are you planning to play silence of the siren? It's my personal HOMM killer (well it's HOMM in space and after 25 years I craved a little change) but I'm afraid they die half way through because their early access has like at most 50 players according to steamdb and "HOMM-yet another-3-remake-but-with-focus-on-pvp-and-shitty-graphics" seemingly steals the show from them :(
