Roland has left the band. The new guys sounds pretty well, though. Give it a few spins, I like it. Don't cry. It's not Nathan Briggs, this time the guy is actually talented :D

People only talk about Roland and I understand the fear but Jonathan is f****** fire too! I'll listen to him with real pleasure too. He deserves praises.

I legit shed a tear when I found out Roland had left, but for Phobos sake people, some of you are acting like TU is totally done for based off of a single! As much as I hate the exit of Roland, I'm willing to give Jonathan a chance. I've been a fan since the beginning, and I can tell you that Richard will pull it all together and make a great album. that's a promise. I'll miss you Roland, and you'll still be pumping loud and clear through my headphones, speakers and whatnot. To TU, I'm ready to hear what this new album has in store!

This song hits home. Hardcore. The very opening about not brawling your demons and beating them is a very truthful thing. I have severe PTSD. And this song is literally one of the only ones I've heard that hits the nail on the head that well. I'm impressed. Great song.

I love Jonathan´s vocals! Fits very well with the guitars! Roland will be missed without a doubt, but Jonathan brings such a whole new depth into TU´s stlye. Keep on rocking guys!

People are too worried about who is in the video rather than focusing on the music, which is a shame, because the song kicks ass!

new vocals are great. they do fit. i see it as a chance and not as a lost. its not fair for the rest of the band to bitching them.

They have a thorough reasoning behind the decision from the various parties about the Roland's departure. But if I am to summarize it here; 1. When The Unguided was founded, with just Richard & Roger Sjunnesson and Roland Johansson, they emphasized that they're going to make a trilogy albumwise and it was going to be a hobby. With the release of "Lust and Loathing", the trilogy got finished and everythingt beyond that has been uncertain. They have also been vocal about this when the band founded, those who were already around when they released their first EP "Nightmareland" might remember this. 2. This was Roland's decision, no one else's. He didn't get kicked out by the band nor the label, Roland wanted to spend more time at home with his family and dedicate all of his time on his career. So there's no blood between the members by any means, and Roland said he might even do more guest vocals now. He's not giving up on music by any means. 3. The band has known the new lead singer for 2 years already, so to them he's not a new face. They've been (including the new singer) open about the fact that their sound will inevitably change and are not pretending it won't. But the new singer will try to live up to Roland the best he can. These are just my thoughts. Come on, give him a chance at least. I didn't like this first time I heard it, arguably because I was expecting Roland. I gave it a few goes and I quite enjoy it. It's too radio edited in this version for me, but they did the same thing with their video to "Heartseeker" and even cutout large parts of the song. The band had said that they wanted to emphasize the new clean vocals with this video, and that the actual album/EP version will be more balanced. I find this to be enjoyable music, and I'm looking forward to their future releases!

the more often I hear this song the more I'm beginning to like Jonathan's voice. If they keep the kinda rythm, heaviness and drive of this song into the next album it might become their best, even better than Hellfrost :D And of course I wish Roland the best of luck for whatever he choses to do now. I find it interesting that most of you only focus on the change in the vocals and not to the fact that this song sounds exactly like the old SS we all loved and got them famous. One of my favorite songs from The Unguided definitely.

I really hope Roland is happy with his family. His presence will be missed in The Unguided but I respect the hell out of him for putting family first. I really hope Jonathan can you a flicker to Roland and The Unguided continues to be amazing and blow me away.

Yo, even if Roland was awesome, the match between Jon and Richard is simply amazing. He sounds young and fresh, with the deep deep scream of Richard, this promesses to be a great duo. Plus, the new drummer is totally badass. I'm still with you all the way, The Unguided.

Man it's weird being a fan of The Unguided and Sonic Syndicate for so long and now Roland is gone. But that's metal for ya.. members come and go a lot in this industry. I never heard of this band before... and I read about a singer that left and got replaced. I can't pronounce myself on this, but I know their music is rock-solid and addictive. Good job, got a new fan here :)

I'm vey sad with Roland's departure, and specially his voice will be very missed. Hope we can see him involved with the band or in new projects, and be able to hear again his amazing voice. He's one of my favorite metal singers. Good luck man!

Here's my prediction. Roland will continue to record with the band but when the band tours it will be with this guy. This is a way to introduce the touring vocals to a wider audience. Then again, I could be mildly retarded. In any case, the clean vocals sound great and I'll continue to support the band and not be a dick.

like everyone else o was shocked and got a bit emotional as well when ronald switched like "who the fuck are you!? where ronald go?!?!?!" but the new guy is awesome. he did a dam good job and I found the vid amazing. the transition to introduce Johnathan was perfect. instead of us listening and finding out randomly they used this to move into the new guy. plus having ronald in it to rock out 1 last time just brought more connection to the vid and song. give it a chance guys.

I hope the best for Roland and the rest of the band. The duo of Richard and Roland in Sonic Syndicate literally opened my eyes to so much more music then any other band by far. First band I loved with a blend of vocals and that first love introduced me to bands like Thy Art is Murder, Scar Symmetry, Solution .45 and Rings Of Saturn. Metal means so much to me personally and I would like to thank all of The Unguided for their music. Hellfrost will hold a huge place in my heart. It's terribly sad to see Roland go, honestly I don't know if The Unguided will be the same to me. But I truthfully hope the best for you guys in your years to come.

I have been a huge fan ever since the first album. Liked every last release so far, but I honestly don't believe I will be into this one... It just doesn't feel like The Unguided that I fell in love with anymore.

The actual fuck? Edit: This actually is pretty good still, but Roland is roughly 10 times as good as this dude, his voice sounds so much more rough and raw, not as soft as this guys voice. I always say you can't replace singers or main songwriters, thinking about Iced Earth, Slayer and In Flames, you have to let the past be the past and see it as a new beginning, if the new singer is good and I like him I can still listen to it without any problems, while Iced Earth for example completely died for me when Barlow left again, I believe this guy can still make the band be great for me. Also technically only like 50% of the vocalists changed :P

Well, the song's been growing on me and still does on every single listen. Roland will be missed and hopefully we will still hear from him in the future, but the band of course needs to move on. Really impressed by Jonathan's vocals, he's a really welcome addition. I think it will be a great opportunity for him too. Wishing the best of luck to the band and Roland!

I went from hearing the new track with Sonic Syndicate, and it switched over to this track when it finished. My first thought was, what a refreshing good metal sound. And i realised it was The Unguided :D hahaha
