@@AlliyahLoveskpop Disagree. Performances that are well known currently like BTS and EXO are things that not everyone can pull off. The original is still fresh in people minds so they will compare. Choosing them can be like shooting your own feet.

this is the moment i liked lee euijin so much, look at how positive he is, always be patience. he was kicked out from BTS team but he is still smiling, he helped his heartbeat’s teams. from start, he never be greedy to be center, you could see how little his parts but he still moving around to fill dancing formations even it would be tired.

@@user-os4fp6sw2ghe got injured and still tried his best to teach all the members,he might have bad temper sometimes but he just want the team have the best performance, his character just too competitive but is nothing wrong with it,u can't deny he a talented person and have a good leadership than euiji,can't be too nice to be a leader,and hate is a strong word, in their situation some people have exposed the dark side that they didn't want to.

i was SO excited when i saw that it was one of the choices and i was seriously so surprised to have seen only one person pick the song. I'm worried it may cause some problems since most of the group didnt want the song originally and may lack the energy and mood for the song. But anyway, i'm excited to see the performance and see how they do.

lena true, I was kinda surprised that only 1 person chose to do that song, Shinhwa is one of the pioneer kpop groups so I thought they would be ecstatic to make a cover of it, seems like they wanted to do covers of the more popular groups' like BTS and EXo though.. oh well, it's a competition so I'm pretty sure those guys who didn't choose Perfect Man at first will still try their best to make a great cover of it. We'll see.

If you watch the episode (I believe it was the one before it - edit: it's the one after this one!) most of them didn't choose it because none of them knew it, as most of them were too young at the time of its release. Nevertheless they all performed it phenomenally

Okay Heartbeat was absolutely incredible, to think that they were having troubles in the group??? Their vocals were on point, the intense expressions, the creepy edge, they got the dance perfectly?? Plus they had an injured member who worked tirelessly?? He and Casper shouldve tied for first tbh, Casper was amazing

BTS is one of the very very rare groups where more than half of group is made up of baritones (Taeyhyung and everyone in the rap line). Even their songs are pitched a little bit lower. If you ever wondered why their songs sounded so heavy and charismatic, it's because they really are. The group you have performing Fire here has mostly high lyric tenors singing, that's why it sounds lighter than normal. It's not bad, but they really had to sing from their gut to make it work.

No, it's because the ones who didn't pick Perfect Man at first, and One Jun was the only one there, was because they don't know the song since most of them were still 2-10 years old to know. One Jun was the only one who was already in 7th grade when the song was released. But Perfect Man is also very popular too, it may not be the most popular in this century, but it was hit #1 on a lot of music charts. And I love Shinhwa

I get what Rain mean, I mean FIRE is agressive, has raspiness, and literally spitting fire. FIRE and most of BTS songs are like chants. Plus it's not only how to deliver the song, but who are you delivering the song to. That's what makes the original and the meaning of FIRE by BTS stand out. Also it's not just about the vocals and great choreography, but passion, stage presence, and feel the emotion of the song. Plus making the song fit their style would be a nice way to alter the difference in tones they have. It can show a side of them that's unique that sets them apart from the original performance, also their presence would be stronger. But they did well. Their voices combined well during the chant and the choreo was on point. 👌 BTW, this make me want to watch Rain's reaction to BTS performances, he's so thorough and understands. Of course he's been in the industry for so long, but those critiques he made. 👏👏👏

BTS' FIRE 🔥 is one of my favorites. Rain was actually so on point there. Fire is a heavy song, not just on its choreography, vocals, performance but most of all, the emotion and message it sends out. You have to act really cocky and intimidating while emphasizing the deep emotions to pull this off unless if you're BTS itself. The performance was okay, it was good but not that great. I knew it wouldn't exceed BTS' but I was hoping for something you'll awe at, at the very least. It could definitely be better, if they added a few more days of practice, definitely will be better.

The HEARTBEAT cover was great. As a HOTTEST i really like it. Their vocals really suit the song and their expressions are great also. And you cant do a cover of a 2PM song without the ABS :D

I am rewatching the Unit again after how many years. People should be watching this, this is more relax and comfortable. Less toxic editting and you can really see every idol's sincerity and passion. This is by by far the best survival show I watch. I just felt sad for UNB :(

Out of all of them, I mean, ALL of the contestants there, there's only 1 person, who lacks in talents (idol talent-wise), I hope you know who he is. Maybe it is a battle of fame, votes, and favorites, but all of them all have their own talents that they all have shown. It's about everything lol They are idols after all, except one person who's a trainee for acting but wanted to be on this program, I guess, he wants to be an idol too hahah And as for Ji Hansol, he may be very well-known since he was an SM Rookie, and though he haven't debuted yet, he's going to officially debut, after he's done with UNB's promotion :) So yeah, everyone on this program, except 1 person (Lee Jung Ha [actor]), all have their own talents to deliver lol So, it's not really all about fame and that lol

“Vocal power is low” People, The Unit did not allow for any vocals in the back up track. Everything had to be sung 100% live, unlike music programs, that’s why it sounds like people are dancing and singing at the same time 😉

I really wanted to see Eunjin perform a BTS song. Most BTS songs in the past were pure hiphop which was different from his style. I wanted to see how he could interpret Fire. Annoying is the guy who chose to kick him out. I felt like Eunjin would've nailed Jimin and even Suga's part

Not really, I've seen people saying that D.O is shorter than 5'8, which I assume would be 5'7, Feeldog's official height on wiki is 1.73m, which is completely untrue, Feeldog's actual height is roughly 5'6, so no D.O would not look like a giant beside Feeldog, he would only be a little shorter than D.O

Coming back to rewatch its always sad how no one wanted to do Perfect Man, but I guess really a lot of it solely comes down to the song. It does suck to think about, but popular songs will always win because fans like it when their favs songs are covered. I say this as someone guilty of this too, there is always going to be a bias to your favorites songs being covered and that's why the people were so desperate to get into the popular songs even if they are suited more to another. Perfect Man is an iconic song and I love it, but it stood no chance against BTS and EXO in terms of simply getting hype from fans similar to how Her or Julliete couldn't compete.

I think out of all the members on this team jun q is the one who nailed his part the best and really emulated the vibe of this song. The other members were good but he stood out the most with the delivery of his part.

despite how talented everyone seems to be, team white's fire was a let down that just showed how hard that song is to perform well.... comparing this cover to bts is disappointing compared to other teams like heartbeat which were impressive

It's Jowke Fire is a song that requires heavy stage presence. Also more than half of the members of BTS is made up of baritone voice. But their voices was quite high. But overall they did great job.

I think the problem with Seyong and Euijin of the Heartbeat team is that they are competing against each other.. Honestly, Euijin is a bit arrogant and a show- off because he knows he is good, while Seyong is bossy.. They both dont want to compromise each other's ideas that's why they end up clashing.. And I dont even think Seyong threw the sketchbook.. He dropped it calmly but it accidentally made a loud sound so it seemed like he threw it..

I don’t think euijin is any arrogant compared to seyong, who has acted greedily since minute 0; firstly towards the red team saying that him and feeldog were rivals, undervaluing almost everyone from the other teams and always being way too confident. Even joking but kinda talking seriously about don’t wanting Casper in his team. He is not just bossy he acts like he is the best in everything, and that ain’t it. And don’t make me talk about the last eps; where almost everyone exposed he ain’t a good dude

BTS is definitely not the easiest group to cover because of their hard choreography so singing live without background music while doing the choreo is extremely hard. I have to give it to them.

It's not that unit white was bad, I think we just expected a lot from them. We all know how great bts are when performing so I think we unconsciously set a standard. They're all great performers but I do agree that this kind of song doesn't suit their voice but that doesn't mean they're bad.

He was a BTS backup dancer... BUT he did not come up with the choreography for Fire. He fibbed. The Choreographer was Keone Madrid in the U.S. Keone also choreographed Dope, Not Today, Blood Sweat & Tears as well as V's Singularity. Keones dancers are the backup dancers for V in Singularity.
