The Unknown Animations | Survivor POV 

Fun fact: When looking around as Unknown, in the Survivor's perspective, only the head is moving while the body is stationary, even when his head is turned all the way around. This makes slow turns to a Survivor even more menacing than any other Killer imo.

When you think about it the entity is doing us a service by taking this thing into the fog instead of letting it roam freely anymore

Imagine how scary this would be in first person, lights out

Fun fact: he is now the second killer that closes a locker door instead of slamming it. The first being pyramid head

His fast twitchy movements with that huge grin is so creepy

Minimal actual personal Lore and nonsensical voicelines. It’s just perfect.

He looks so damn horrific and creepy I love it so much.

Lowkey wish he didn’t have the axe. He’s terrifying but I think they could have played up his unorthodox attacking methods without it. Especially given how revealing his Mori is.

The way it moves makes me feel like The Unknown kind of vaguely understands the concept of a human and how a human is supposed to move.

Soooo, in the menu they made an animation of him running on all fours, and in the gameplay he walks on two legs, such a missed opportunity. It would cause me more discomfort to look at him running on all fours, while hes breaking his body. Also, I can't get rid of the association that he stole clothes from Peter Griffin.

When he pulls out the locker his head snaps the other way for a second. That is Fked. 1:10

I love that what little lore is shown to you just on the killer selection, it's like a creepy pasta. Like, the older ones. It has simple rules. You summon it, you die. And to summon it, you have to attempt to define it. It is, after all, Unknown. It cannot be known. To give it form, to force it to have a shape even in your imagination, makes it show up just to make you stop. Or so it would seem, seeing as the moment it got summoned, it ALSO got pulled into all of this and, as the description said, sounded _distressed._ Didn't want that. It's not just Unknown. It's Unknowable. I like the simplicity.

His walking animation is terrifying

He moves around like a zombie he is scarier than dredge he has an absolutely nightmarish voice From chucky to this, I’m scared 😳

the unknown's character design reminds me so much of the crooked man. Especially the eyes, smile and neck. I always wondered why he looked so familiar

He feels like a mix between a splicer from Bioshock and a flood monster from halo. Just lovely all around

i kinda wish it'd lose his red light stain outside of chase, so you could screw with survivors better, having them run up to a clone and....whoops. Be even better if they had an animation for it where it grabs their wrist, laughs and then throws them over it's shoulder.

Props to the Mocap guy who broke all 206 bones in his body for this new monster 👌

im not sure if anyone remembers this game but markiplier played it, it was called "The Crooked Man" I think this killer should get his outfit he already looks deeply like him and that was the first horror game that honestly gave me nightmares over 1 scene with a character named sissy it wasnt that we saw her die but i think it was her screams and the whole scene itself that made me afraid to have my back towards a door closed or open

I love the design of Unknown more than anything else so far. But his power just feels kind of forced. Purple grenade??? Why?? They couldn’t have just given him a huge speed boost and creepy walk cycle for his power? I feel that with a design like this simple horror is your best friend.

The way it twitches all over and cocks its head, or straight up twists it 180 degrees reminds me of an owl searching for mice. They devs perfectly conceptualized the movement and character of a predatory animal.

At first I was a little thrown off by his looks but now that Ive realized hes an homage to the Edgar suit I'm loving him. It's actually such a neat little pairing with analog horror, although I'm sad that we don't get a more genre-stereotypically messed up face. I kinda like the super stretched mouths and vacant stares, even if they were overplayed.
