Renew Your Mind / Marvin Fant / Fred Price Dr Price examines racist remarks on dating by a minister Log on below for my book THE BLACK EMPERORS OF ROME a.co/d/2boRLSX
Decades ago, every Sunday morning at 7-8AM, on the Christian channel where I lived, Fred Price’s series on Race, Religion and Racism was aired. My wife and I would wake up early to listen to the broadcasts for well over a year… before getting ready for church. Recently, I even purchased Fred’s 3 volume set of books on the topic. His perspective and impact has been invaluable to me. Thank you for bringing back pleasant memories. I miss the man. He was a blessing to the body of Christ.
I clearly remember when all this took place. Even back then I immediately recognized the voice of this minister. This minister and Dr Price had reconciled and eventually this minister has placed African Americans in prominent positions in his mega church. He was also one of the speakers at Dr Price's home going service. For years I had a grudge against this minister and had to come to the conclusion that if Dr Price had reconciled and a number of positive change had taken place within his ministry then I also needed to forgive this man as well and no longer hold any ill feelings towards him as I did for years. That does NOT mean to be ignorant of the racism that is still in the church etc.
@gary ~ I clearly remember as well. Even though I shouldn’t have been BUT must admit I was shocked the way Paul & Jan came to hagin’s defense. By then I was placing the Word above all others; However didn’t know they reconciled ~ but must have been years after price was dropped [or left] TBN. Glad he didn’t back down and held no grudges.
I am glad you have changed your mind, good for you but always learn to be like your Father love those who hate you because they are sick people and their problem is with Yeshua God they hate God and so did this minister because God is the one who created you. So his problem is and was with Yeshua. Christianity is not from God it is what it is. Christianity is a white man's religion based on evidence. Yeshua God said a tree is ALWAYS ALWAYS known by its fruit, not the fruit you put on it. /the word Christians do not belong in the Bible I know Dr. Price has never said it but it is hard to catch all the lies that come from the European Church. What I did was listen to what has been said Christianity is a white man's religion then I looked at it in the Bible and that word does not belong in the Bible based on what the Bible says about it not my feeling. I will tell you this I took a class from Israel (New Testament in Hebrew and Jewish Study every jot or title) after about twelve lessons 1 hour long. This probably was the 12 or 13th lesson the first thing on the board for this lesson was Acts 11:26 I asked the professor about that word and I paid for him to teach me about this thing jotting the smallest letter. He blew me off someone in the class tried to help by talking about what Constantine had done but he kept going. So I was nice the next day I asked again and he said James go to another class where you will have more time to talk about this. He got me again so you see I have experience from my class from last year in Israel. So I have tried to find out even getting the pastor and assisting the minister hanging the phone up in my face. So I am not just talking and this is not my feeling this is evidence. Sorry to run my mouth so much I apologize!
I watched Price and EIF since 1978 and I truly believe that if he had reconciled after teaching such a landmark lesson, he would certainly have taught a lesson explaining his reasons, if in fact he did reconcile.
The pastor voice is Kenneth Hagin Jr. I am familiar with this story . l hope Pastor Hagin Jr has renewed his mind concerning mixed marriages. Because God is not against it. Moses married a Black woman from Ethopia Africa. Praise God. Shalom❤
We live in a racist society, always have been until Jesus Christ comes back. I enjoy Fred Price series race religion and racism. I have seen it twice already. Eye opening and full of information.
First of all, I have a special connection to Fredric K.C.Price. God used him to lead to the Lord the person that lead me to the Lord. My introduction to preaching came through Fred Price. He taught us that there is no Christianity outside of the word. I devoured the word because of that truth. Also, he did not ignore my black situation and sprinkle a bunch of hallelujah over it to make it go away. He addressed it from a standpoint of justice. Which is a part of Christ character . He was wayyy ahead of his time. One of my favorite “not necessarily Christian “ sermons happened years later on RU-vid. “ Inappropriate behavior” by Dr Claude Anderson. A masterpiece of black historical perspective. A must watch! Thank you for this video!
it was kenneth hagin jr. fred told his father it was wrong what he said and he replied i feel the same way also. that it when they broke off . fred removed the his name from the auditorium he named after him. kenneth hagin then got carlton pearson to replace fred as his african americn pastor that he promoted with his positive faith message. that is how carlton pearson became big. until he started teaching inclusionism. i lived right behind the original crenshaw christian church in inglewood. his nephew performed my sister in law wedding.
I listen only to God and I know for a fact that Moses had a woman of color so I really don't give a care whatsoever with these races so-called pastors are talking about! That's our rule! So lies and more lies is your beliefs!
All praises to the Most High Yah for this video. I had to post and pass this on . . . Im an active member of CCC, and this is right on time . . . WE WOKE NOW! Halleluyah, it's Kingdom Building Time! Dr. O. 💖
I fully agree with you on the position you take with the Dr Fred Price. I follow Dr Price since 1978, and I watched the entire series of "race religion and racism" and to me it was the most powerful series ever taught concerning the condition and the root cause of the moral decay of the church in America!
Thank you for posting this. My father was a fire baptized pastor and evangelist that came out of AA Allen’s ministry. He preached a lot for the COGIC and I was brought up basically in his church and the COGIC. He stood against racism and the power of God backed him up with it. This devil of racism should have been driven out of the church decades ago. Instead of pandering to it. This guy is preaching straight up racism and prejudice! What does he think racism is? Moses married a Black woman and Miriam grumbled against him. And God cursed her with leprosy for it.
It wasn't unknown. It was Kenneth Hagin Jr.! Apparently, Fred Price got wind of Hagin Jr. being upset about a budding relationship w/ Fred Price Jr. (black) and Hagin's daughter who is white.. It's been 25 years, but I think Hagin said something to the effect of races should be separated. I didn't realize that Fred Price had the recording. I watched the series of his expose' on racism. It was epic. Thanks for sharing,
Thanks to DR Price for being bold enough to bring us such valuable information. The recording reminded me of being a little girl in Mississippi. The same kids that we played with as small children were not allowed to speak to us as teenagers.
some of my church memebers went to his ministry school RHEMA in 90s and they use to tell me.. that they didnt like those white women with blck men....... but TULSA is the home to the 1920s Jealous race riiots of the whites .... with rich black folks back then...... soo why even haave a racist church
Minister Fant, Thanks for the Video, I knew the separation had to do with race, but not all the details mentioned in video. I recognized the voice because I have listened to Dr, Price and the Hagins. I agree with the other below its Hagin Jr voice. Shock and sad to hear. I thank God for Dr Price for teaching on the subject of race many year ago. It is so relevant today. Wow!
Passion for Fred K C Price. Famous for..... don't believe then read this ,read that, and try it. God is real. Strength in his words helped me to where I am now
That is Kenneth Hagin Jr voice. I used to follow Kenneth Haagin for years I heard his son teach, (Kenneth Hagin Jr), as well as Kenneth Haagin himself I know that voice.
1 Samuel 16:7 kjv - for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. Apostle Frederick Price Spoke truth. That other guy is a idiot. Hes teaching hate.
I remember also it was Kenneth Hagan’s son and what hurt me was he said his taught him that When he was a child, I had all of Kenneth hogan’s books. It hurt me to know that he was a racist but I forgave him
I remember there was and maybe still is an concern about so many Black males marrying outside their race that our race will be diminished. This want a concern when this audio was first introduced, but in 2024, some Black Americans have concerns about it now. And the concern of the fact that the majority of Black women have never been married and desires marriage. But this doesn’t mean that one is racist or prejudice if they feel this way. Racism and prejudice is born out of hatred and fear! As Dr Price pointed out, I want to know the why’s behind why the speaker in this audio feels the way he does. It’s not just marital issues, but it’s societal issues as well. It’s not a problem, only with those who abject to it because God sees nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately, the church still doesn’t address racism period, but we should and in love, all skin tones
At the time that Rev. Price first aired the service that featured this recording, it wS stated that the minister speaking on the recording was the late Kenneth Hagin, Jr., if memory serves me correctly.
I remember WATCHING that sermon ! His wife made a motion with her hand at her neck to ‘stop’ BUT like he said….he was too far out there and just went on !!! SMH 🤦🏼♀️
I recognize the voice on the tape. Not sure how many years ago this was, but I remember when Apostle Price introduced the sermon Race, Racism and Religion. I also remember how Dr Kenneth Hagin and few others felt about Apostle Price teaching on this subject in fear of it causing separation within the Body of Christ. I see nothing wrong with “interracial” marriages between an man and a woman! But we have Black parents, not as often seen in Black families, that do not want their Black son or daughter to marry white! Prejudices and “isms” of all kinds are around us and will forever be, until Christ returns! Some cultures will actually disown or even stone their son or daughter, mostly daughters, for marrying outside their culture or race. I am not a parent, but I will speak concerning myself. As a soon to be 64 yr. old Black woman living in 2024, I see nothing wrong marrying outside my “race”. Black males definitely feel otherwise when Black women do so, even though they do it! I do caution myself because the world is a very cruel place. Will I be able to handle the ridicule and hate that comes along with marrying outside my race? I can care less about the color of one’s skin, but the cultural differences can be very challenging to overcome, especially for a woman, who would be the one expected to given in to the other culture! I will not ignore or give up my own Black culture. That can be an issue within some interracial marriages as well! Religion, hummm… I can’t embrace another religion/faith regardless of the skin color. If that is another “ism”, so be it! The religious aspect of a marriage would be very concerning, and definitely a game changer, especially for my daughter or son! Often time, in interracial marriages, someone or maybe both, will not be accepted by either in-laws or their family or friends. If you can deal with that going into the marriage, and you believe the marriage is ordained of God, I would embrace the marriage to whomever “God has ordained for me to be with”! I love people and I love all the different skin tones God created. It’s beautiful!! Is it solely a skin tone/color issue or is it a cultural issue? Is it racist to embrace the skin color and not embrace the culture? In some cultures and religions, women/wives have no rights whatsoever!! I would not want to marry into such a cultural and religious difference, but at the same time, I can care less about the skin color! I don’t believe this is racism in this example, but I am sure it is some kind of an “ism” that some people would argue and disagree with. Please be assured, I have no racist ideologies that I aware of! PS: in the audio, I do believe the Pastor mentioned that Black parents had the same concern about their children marrying white! Sometimes, it about preference and not skin color! Just something to think about! ❤😊
Ernest Ainsley never ran in Word of Faith circles. He was exclusively revival fire, tent meeting, charismatic Evangelical. Kenneth Hagin Sr and his son, Kenneth Hagin Jr were Fred Price's close friends.
I agree 💯💯💯 we were told not to mix as The Holy Children of Yisra'al THEE CREATOR SAID FOR US NOT TO MIX I AGREE 💯 we don't even kno we are THEE CHOSEN PEOPLE DEU 7 👉🏿Neither shalt thou make marriages with them;👈🏿 thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. 4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. 5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. 6 For thou art an holy people unto YAH THY CREATOR YAH THY יהוה hath chosen thee to be a 👉🏿special people unto HIMSELF, ABOVE all 👈🏿people that are upon the face of the earth DEU 7 I'm not mad!! Islam doe's not believe in mixing either we the only fools 😮 Who love the world smh
No, Israel was not to intermarry with the 7 families of Canaan because they were set for destruction because of their rebellion and abominable practices. They were given further instructions. As stated in Exodus, a mixed multitude came up out of Egyot with the children of Israel, and TMH entered into a covenant with that entire group.
the unknown minister was Keneth Hagin Jr and although he didn't say his name he said that he invited him to his home and while they were in the car, put the tape on and confronted him about it.
@Pastore-cx9qe ~ I don’t know who you have in mind BUT that definitely is ‘daddy’🙄Hagin’s boy! I will never forget that sermon, ‘disgust’ wasn’t exactly my reaction🧐. To me what followed was worse: Paul & Jan’s full colors showed… stood full force behind him and EVENTUALLY 👀 Fred was no longer ‘welcomed’👁️ on their platform (if you remember how they systematically erased price from their👀network)… and it’s not that I’m in Fred’s corner either (b/c he was deceived himself [first by that ‘sect’]) I stand on the Word of God and Not man
@@devaughnedwards1647 obviously, I didn't feel like undercutting the the person who originally posted this great "Unknown Minister" mystery. Why don't you ask them that question?
Price said god is ok with mix marriages so my question is why deut 7:6 and 7:3 and tobit 4:12 say that new testament Matthew 5:17 red print Jesus speaking.
Why bleep out the names if you're going to come forth to bring a minister out then speak about it totally in truth. If you're exposing them with the truth and tell the whole truth that's all I'm saying say who it was that was on the tape I mean you got it on tape
8:59 - I know who that is, he had a near death experience and heard his testimony on "death and dying". His words are totally off, that's what happens when you don't teach from the scriptures!!!
that voice was Kenneth Hagin Jr, Kenneth Hagin's son. I went to Rhema Bible Training Center and actually heard him say some likewise things in one of His classes. But this tape goes more in depth and reveals even more so how much Kenneth Hagin Jr feels about the subject and it is disgusting. And he said that his dad felt the same way about it. I still thank God for the mighty wonderful way that God has used the Kenneth Hagin Ministries, but concerning this one subject, I extremely disagree and am upset about it
It’s certainly isn’t pastor Earnest, his wife had passed away long before the recording, plus, Dr. Fred Price wasn’t in that circle, it doesn’t mean he didn’t know him. Whoever is talking has a present wife. Plus, the voice absolutely doesn’t match at all… I’ve heard and I’m very familiar with pastor Earnest. Just that I would inform you… Praying for progress and healing in the community of GOD’S people at large. 1 PETER 2: 9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY. I love The LORD’S Body, HIS Church!
I dont disagree with Hagin. But in the first place, I also wouldn't be in a church with a white pastor either. Woe to them who were shocked he felt that way 😂
Well, GOD consistently told HIS people not to marry certain people. And that was because others practiced idolatry and witchcraft. HE didn’t want HIS ppl tainted. But, if you are telling your ppl to separate due to hatred and ignorance. That’s a whole different issue that has nothing to do with GOD.
Dr. Price - Rest in Peace. I wasn't a follower of the Word of Faith movement, but Dr. Price knocked this out of the ball park. I remember it very clearly and began to tune in as much as I could. It just wasn't Hagin, but many other entities (ministers or otherwise... remember the Daks Bible?) in the white church world. Hagins - Many in the white church still hold or held to this view. Because they're not stupid enough to state their opinion out loud doesn't mean they don't believe it. Carlton Pearson - He should have been ashamed of himself for jumping on Dr. Price instead of the monster that started it. Ironically a lot of the whites in Pastor Pearson's circle jumped ship when he espoused a different way of looking at the kingdom. Carlton deserved better from the Christian community. He wasn't wrong.
