This was awesome! Your mine usage is amazing. The Asp S flies like a fat Eagle, it's the only thing I like about it. Against slower ships, I'm sure it could be still quite a nuisance, similar to an Eagle. Don't let Egmont see you praising the Asp S in any capacity!! XD
Thank you for the high praise! I suspect it's a lot easier to mine CMDRs in bigger slower ships, the FDL is crazy agile. In PvE the Scout shreds larges and slower mediums, just like the Eagle does. I loved your video on the Scout btw, you fly it very gracefully in PvE with that cytoscrambler and cannon combo. Ahhh Egmont can think what he wants 😂 I've flown and now have videos of both the AspX and AspS, the Scout maneuvers better hands down. I still do love the AspX for silent running and hulk tanking, plus you can torpedo boat it. They're two very different vessels, which can both excel if flown properly.
@@ReddFrank I've got a particular frag Asp S build that absolutely _shreds_ PvE (Although it would work on any 2 small 2 med hardpoint array ship, which is many). That's it! You've inspired me to make a video on it today. I'm glad you like my display of Asp S flying, that's its strength! I've improved since then so hopefully I can do it some better justice. I wish mines were more effective in PvE, I want to use them _so_ much more than I do but I also don't really care for PvP and its associated dramas. The Asp X has some interesting build potential with 4 smalls as well, if it had the distro for it, a 4 x cyto build would be utterly stupid fun.
I look forward to the video! It's always great to see niche builds in action, and test em out myself. I really just have no interest in meta or large ships to be honest. Mines are super tough in PvE, the ai evades better than most pilots, but I haven't tried since I've started using mines heavily for PVP so might give it a go again. But I tried 4x sr cytoscrambler on the AspX and lemme just say, it eats your distributor. The ship doesn't have very good up close maneuverability either, but at about 1. 1.5 km you can keep a good orbit on ships, so I used 2 long range and it worked a whole lot better.
@@ReddFrank Yeah large ships simply aren't fun imo. Effective? Yeah sure. People write the AI off as dumb or unengineered etc etc but tbh, we're all LUCKY the AI can't use the amount of engineering players do cause they: - Actually fly perma FA off, despite what people think. Plus they fly better than most players that just fly in straight lines and circles. - Are a _crack_ shot. - Crazy good pip management. - Can fire ALL GUNS INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT FIRE GROUPS. - Don't fall for mines. - Can consistently hit you even if you're silent running. - Have godly module priorities/possibly alter them on the fly. - Who knows what else!? Their bank usage is pretty on point, too. If they had the engineering players have... nobody would play XD Although I would *love* a mode where you could fight some decent PvE ships where it wasn't just a 3v1. Yeah that Asp X idea sounds like it went the way I thought it would. 4 x efficient + II cytos would probably be ok though.
You can look up how many of your subs watch on phones somewhere in the creator studio. For me its like 50%.. but since i started using the youtube ccs i dont think about it anymore.😂
