You still know a million times more about these guys than I do so some of this was -swoosh- over my head. I found it baffling that the tabloid magazines I spotted in the queue buying food the other day took for granted that the reader knew what "the wedding" was in reference to. I live in Sweden by the way. We have our own royals here which I also do my best to ignore at all times.
Oh you really should follow them, especially if they're as good value as ours. For laughs that is. But Sweden is quite a serious country, I reference ABBA, Volvo and SAS (not the SAS, they're ours) I could point you to the latest Prince Andrew debacle. I'm sure if you looked closely your Royals could furnish many such moments, or perhaps look to Norway, whose Royal family is closely associated with Sweden's even after the 1905 split. On top of it all, the Americans love a Royal family, they've got God Trump as a sitting monarch of course, but he's not got the pedigree, just money.

This has got to have been the largest group of black people the royal family ever shared a room with inside the UK. I personally think a whole lot of the BS since then has been a response to that "traumatic" experience.
