Thank you so much! This monastery was amazing to see for so many reasons. We did learn a lot about the history of Armenia while traveling there. Not only the far past but the disputes happening to this day. We did not know before we left how close we would come to actual fighting. In fact, we were this family's last guests before they had to leave their village for a safer area. 😕
@@SOSASATSUNRISEglad to know you enjoyed yourself and we're safe. Sadly, ever since the 12th century and the arrival of turks from Mongolia, the region has not been the same. The Greeks and the Armenians were massacred in the millions and their natives lands taken from them. God has not forsaken them as they still persevere! 🙏❤️
I love your curiosity, as an architect )) this made your vlog that much more interesting .. btw there's an extreme zipline there, in that area, that could be cool to try one day
We loved the story about the seismograph and generally get excited about what makes each location unique. 10 years from now, we would love to visit the area again to see the things we missed and see how it has changed.
