In this video I : push my sangcheng agenda, try my best for the songxiao fans, and give you a glimpse into what the inside of my brain is like 80% of the time
Hope everyone likes it! Sorry for my sub-par editing skills and for the fact that I was too lazy to try to find footage that didn't have the Chinese subtitles on it (we can just pretend to ignore them right?)

I am glad that someone also agree that Xue Yang is Phantom to Xiao Xingchen's Christine And Song Lan is definitely Raoul. In both Phantom of Opera and Love Never Dies. He is first with Xingchen in everywhere he goes but left him and hurt him in the end until Xue Yang comes (I cannot fault him though, after he went through). When the tragedy happened and he lost Xingchen, he realized everything (even it is not really his fault) as Raoul realized when Christine dies. Xue Yang (Erik the Phantom) is not meant to be with Xingchen either. Even while they have their moments of happiness with A-Qing (Gustave?) and Xingchen (Christine), it is going to end in tragedy no less. Xue Yang will be the only who feels it deeply, and he pays for that.

But like at 3:30 it fits perfectly I’m shook I don’t know why but I always felt like XY, by telling XXC all the things he did while being with him, was trying to make XXC be on his side so they could work things out together (according to XY’s twisted mentality). I believed he wanted for XXC to work the same as he used with SL but now with him, 'proving' him that being 'evil' wasn't so bad, just that he never expected XXC to be devastated to the point of suicide. So in short, I love you and your musical theatre selection 😔👌🏻

Love this! Only thing I’d change is that I feel like Don’t Lose Your Head fits Xue Yang in terms of attitude better than JGY, and the drama even has him chopping NMJ’s head off, so that part works out too. Otherwise, loved everything!
