The pugilist world is ruled by the powerful Wen clan, which dominates over the smaller Lan, Jiang, Nie and Jin households. The carefree Wei Wuxian becomes fast friends with the righteous Lan Wangji, and during their adventures, the pair find out that the head of the Wen clan is the evil mastermind behind a series of plots that would wreak havoc upon the lands.
Wei Wuxian’s attempts to protect the innocent members of the Wen clan from unfair persecution leads to disaster, and he goes MIA in the process. Wei Wuxian reappears sixteen years later, and works together with good friend Lan Wangji to solve a series of murder mysteries, eventually finding and defeating the true culprit. Based on the Moxiang Tongxiu's novel Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation.

Sizhui was an interesting young Lan- whenever he spoke up, he demonstrated not only intelligence but a gentle, emotional maturity- he rarely showed any of the strict, cold Lan side- So Lan Zhan had made a conscious decision to raise him somewhat different to how he was raised- I guess to reflect some of Wei Wuxian’s personality. And now I’m crying again 😭💕

The fact that jiangchen was saved wei wuxian so he got kidnapped then lost his power. But this never been told to wwx. Then wwx gives his power to jiangchen. Aren’t the brothership is so warm between them? 💕

Yes, things are way too fricked up because of the past and moving on from that like nothing happened really would be asking for the impossible. And, it is still hard to imagine both of them going back to the way they were before. But... I really don’t want JC to end up all alone. Let’s be honest. The people who ship LZC and JC together do that Cu’s they are both beautiful people who we don’t want to see end up alone. Even if it’s not with WY, it should not be too much to ask for a happy ending for JC and LZC. It doesn’t need to be with WY but let this angry lotus be happy😩 (btw, I don’t ship WY and JC together. When I say I want to see them together, I mean as brothers)

To be honest , i like the way how drama is . I mean i dont want any hugs or kisses or confessions or anything like that . The drama version is itself perfect . Without any of these elements, both wwx and lwj could portray their roles and feelings to each other flawlessly. Just eye talks and understandings of each other are enough for them. I like this kinda LOVE .. pure and Sincere. ❤❤❤

I actually don't want this . . . I saw an interview where Xiao Zhan said he was "leaving Wei Wuxian to the person he loves" and I think that's right. I don't want to see more of (the Untamed versions of) WWX and LWJ because I want them to have a happy ending and those only come at the end of stories; and because I don't want a sequel to contradict the subtext. I know there are some sequel movies focusing on other characters, which I want to watch. But any story focusing on Wangxian I don't want, or any big epic story about the cultivation world, because they are too powerful to be left out of that kind of story.

He didn't have to, since Wei Ying had his own golden core transplanted to Jiang Cheng already, making Wei Ying powerless, that makes them even. So he didn't think it was necessary to tell Wei Ying anymore. Besides, technically Wei Ying had already "died" so he thought it no longer mattered...

da-ge is headless ultimately he is such a lonely character. He is not a person that makes friends easily or easy to be with like his brother and sister who sort of understood his volatile temperament. Now they are both gone, his anger desperation comes from the fact that he wants to hold on to his brother, but in the end realizes he can’t keep his brother trapped he is a free spirit he lets him go.

i think meng yao is exactly like joker, he became evil since people always treat him as nothing because of his birth status, all he ever wanted is love, n at the end when xichen decided to die by his side it's enough for meng yao to believe that someone does loved him that much, that's why he pushed xichen away from him with that spesific "i ll be waiting for you on the other side" kinda looks, at this moment meng yao, as a man, indeed still has his consciences towards other, in this case : towards xichen, the man that he loves,, besides wangxian love story, mengchen love story actually silently beautiful too (as if meng yao evil side not surfaces),, but at the end of the day, in this world, really, nothing is simply as black n white, grey is also there eventually, just like meng yao

I swear that I have seen all of these two actors films and dramas but never saw a second person to who both of them of them smile and look like they do when they with each other😭😭😭😭 I am going still crazy how can this novel finally end, this drama proved that even without touch we can feel, Donghua proved even without heart we can desire, Audiobook proved even with pain there is happiness..... I can write even more but already wrote what I should write and it's never enough even if I write a book..... I still see the clips even it's been years already, my desire for mdzs is just very pure hearted and a feeling that was born that I never felt

I like to think that in this version, with the censorship, Lan Zhan is deeply in love with Wei Wing but never dares or chooses to not tell him about his feelings and that Wei Ying, also loves his Lan Zhan but same as in the novel, he isn't aware of his feelings.

I still remember the day when i got recommend for this show but when i read the Synopsis i slide it with the thought that two men together no female lead i thought it was not of my taste but after some day i tried it and mannn i was blown away ❤️ what a chemistry 😘 i have never seen something like this like u can feel their love by just watching them hats off to the wang yibo and xiao zhan and here i am stuck into untamed for more than a year and am not regretting it 😊❤️

The series is so much better than the novel. In the series, their love is greater than anything, and they manage to convey it without ever mentioning it. I honestly regret reading the novel’s “spicy parts”; to me they completely undermined the trust they have in each other in the series. The series is perfection, in it they are equals, despite all their differences. They value each other above all other, and it’s the most beautiful depiction of a love story that I’ve ever seen.

Finally, I found someone I can relate to. I prefer the series over the novel as well. I find the characters to be more well developed and the relationship between Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to be healthier. Despite the misunderstandings in the past, they stood by each others side and completely trusted each other. They portrayed a deep bond of love and trust without even explicitly stating it to each other. I skipped the novel after the first "love making" scene, so I'm glad it didn't ruin Wangxian that much for me.

If I only talk about the drama without the novel, the drama is itself too much iconic without any romantic scenes. The actors acting,the whole soundtrack make it too much excellent that the viewers have to obsessed with it. It doesn't matter how much time you will watch it, it'll remain new forever. It was love and no one can disagree. You have to feel their eyes and expressions. The whole story was about love, friendship, family, about right and wrong. Everything make this drama too much iconic. Thanks to Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan for their great acting and make Lan Wang Ji and Wei Wu Xian alive. And thanks to Mo Xiang Tong Xiu for her great imagination
