When you watch the new documentary film, Apollo 11, you see a lot of shots we’ve all seen before. But different. The footage looks so crisp, vibrant, and distinct. But why? How did this happen, and why did it take 50 years for us to get this footage and be able to enjoy it in this quality? Well, the short answer is a mixture of luck, lack of technology, and just good timing. In this video, we’re going to explore how this footage came about, why it went away, and who is responsible for it.
