Are his animal senses immune confusion. Seems to me since the brain is the receiver of all 5 senses, the brain could be fooled into seeing, smelling, and feeling something that inst there. Hmmmmm.
THANK YOU. Exactly what I was thinking, Wolverine can smell his allies, but more importantly, his enemies, he's shown to ALWAYS detect a foreign scent in their midst. Fuck Mysterio, he's not getting close! Wolverine would smell him way before he could use an illusion.
Spider-man's spider sense works for danger and is precognitive as a reaction. That's very different to a sense of smell that has the range Wolverine's has, it's not like you can sneak up on the fucker. Spider-man, you can, so long as you don't intend harm or don't pose threat, in theory you could get right up to Spider-man.
Rodgerinho ...in the comic itself, Logan even emphasized to Hawkeye that because of Mysterious the X-men even SMELLED like the villains. Like it or not, alternate universes don't always have the same powers or strength of ability. To deny this Universe's reality based on Marvels Prime universe reduces you to triggered basement-dweller fanboy status.
Old man Logan is so tragic but such a damn good comic! Definitely one of my most favorite Wolverine storylines. You just can’t keep a good man down. Over the many years of Logan’s tragic life he has been good, bad, and everything in between but what lays at the base of it all is that Wolverine is good and has a pure heart of a warrior. At the end of the day whatever he has had to do to get the job done doesn’t matter because Logan is good. Long live the Wolverine!!!
ResistanceForever because make up is everything from a bit of mascara to something like all of the prosthetic cuts and slices all over his body, people dedicate their entire lives to it and it's hard to be good at. It's like saying, why should a game win a bullshit category like graphics?
The Academy would never nominate, what boils down to be a comic book movie, for best picture. They're way too uptight. Although, I believe someone should get nominated for Best Actor, because damn, awesome performances. But again...won't happen.
Not really. Banner is the nice kind hearted guy (he has issues but he's no monster.) He does care for others and refuses to hurt women (it reminds him of his own father)
The movie was a classy, thought-provoking and surprisingly tearjerking work of art. The comic just sounds like shock-value grimdark fanfiction. The idea of little post-apocalyptic divisions in America does sound kinda fun though.
I really love the fact that you went into such details about the storyline. I saw the film recently and now I feel that they could have done even more than they did. I was surprised at just how gory it was too. A great film though.
I don't get it why is he all of a sudden aging? His healing factor's been going strong keeping him young for a couple centuries now, then it just all of a sudden stops? That seems dumb.
GarnettTank poisoned with what? The adamantinium? How could something that's been in his body so long, eventually kill him even though he constantly is healing from it
GarnettTank to a complete stop? That's so bs cuz in old man Logan he's like waaaay older than he is in the movie and he gets the shit knocked out of him by 3 hulks
I could see some common elements between this Old Man Logan comic book series and the Transformers comic in the 80s. Back then, the Decepticons were nearly victorious over the Autobots. Ratchet was the only fully functional Autobot remaining, and he wasn't even a warrior. Optimus Prime had his head removed. It was much darker and grittier than anything in the animated series.
A Wolverine without struggles in a dark world wouldn't be a real superhero at all. The writers had to use the Legacy Virus or some other form of a superdisease to make Wolverine struggle for survival and live through loneliness.
Love how you explained the story in detail. And how might be in movie. Banner is definitely way gone compared to now. Hulk and wolverine are two of my favorites.
the logan movie is not in this universe at all, its in the main marvel universe. which means all the x men are fucking dead now including THE WOLVERINE NOOO " *so this is what it feels like.... dies* ".
Love how part of the movie takes place in El Paso TX, everyone in the theatre just laughed. Then a guy says "No wonder he looks like shit, he's in H(el)l Paso!"
@@williamrichendollar2926 Yup they can only do so much and can't copy the comic word for word because it's a movie right, now if the creator of the comic were to make it that would e different
I remember reading Old Man Logan awhile back, i think i still have it laying around in the house somewhere and it is one crazy-ass read, but has there been any continuation of the story or some other story-line of Old Logan? If there is I'd be interested in reading it.
So as I read Old Man Logan, I looked at all the "trophies" in Red Skull's trophy room and identified all of the artifacts, mask, and weapons. The only thing I didn't identify was the sword Red Skull used to attack Logan, so could anyone please inform me on what sword Red Skull was using?
I liked the movie story better, find it much more compelling.. What I liked about the comic is that he stays alive but then again the movie's ending was a great conclusion to the character's arc.
One thing i don't get is upon getting furies at his family's death, why didn't old man logan take some those super soldier serums. Wouldn't it in additional to his existing power make him into a godlike being?
It would have made him OP against Banner honestly i believe that is the only reason it was left out as a turn in the plot. Here's a site where you can "Glance" over the script ;) readcomicsonline.me
First vid I've seen oc yours, Really, Really enjoyed this. You summarised the comic series so well. I've not read it but wow its a cool story. I've subscribed and i hope all your stuff is as good as this. Awesome job pal
when I first learned of Wolverine. I was wondering how a person could strengthen their bones tendons and ligaments muscles organ blood eye teeth nails hair overall skeletal structure. My research suggests with the right source of nutrition training a person can make their bone structure 20 times stronger than what the average person is today. At the same time being able to adjust adapt respond to any illness much more efficiently. The Wolverine type status we would be 10 or 15 generation of people consuming high sources of nutrition clean water air with a very decent workout regiment if not hard-core. Think about this for most of the average person's life, their bone structure is breaking down deteriorating' that takes a lot of energy! For the body to manage deal with just to stabilize. With the right high source of nutrition, one will be strengthening rejuvenating replenishing their overall skeleton structure allowing all that energy that went into slowing down the process of deterioration to be freed up for other functionalities within the body. Such as timing balance explosive power muscle response flexibility range of motion agility speed stamina which increases the immune system.
Of all the brutal and disturbing things in this graphic novel series, the most impactful for me was the notion of the Hulk 'breeding forcefully' with She-Hulk because she was the only one strong enough to take it.
I really like logans story. It shows thae realistic life would be in the future. Though it is so SAD seing him get old and knowing all your fav. Heroes are dead. It felt like if only we could turn back the time and be as happy they were be.... after watching logan movie, i felt really depressed...i hope by the next movie marvel will bring them all back.
this is a better storyline way better than the film in my opinion I'm getting tired of them re changing the storyline in the MCU universe this Old man Logan story arc is way much better in will read this instead of seeing the movie i like this story arc thank you for explaining the the real story!
I dont get how the villians killed the heroes I get that they ganged up and all but if the heroes could beat them before couldnt they just beat them again if they just ganged up themselves and fought them in a group? I havent read the comic Im just assuming
It was a coordinated attack with each villain attacking each sect of superheroes all at once. They didn't have time to recoup or communicate or form teams or plans with each other because it was a simultaneous surprise attack. They quickly got overwhelmed and killed. The comic's great you should just go ahead and read it.
Imagine if they actually made a live action movie of Old Man Logan? It would take years and cost a billion dollars if they did it right. Maybe someday they will do an animated version.
