Ahh yes Fujimaru Ritsuka, the guy who may not be a great and powerful mage but still survived through all the singularities and lostbelts because he has Charisma EX+++ and Master Luck EX+++
Guda is not special unlike Shiro or Shiki and others. But he felt more human than other fate protagonists for me. I am guessing Nasu gonna hit us with Guda character arc in future chapters. Since OC 2 is good as hell. Guda stopped being an insert character along time ago.
It's always fascinating me story about weakest character who always standing bravely in middle many powerful being Slowly but surely ritsuka grow from simple self insert character into well written character by fandom and official creator I like one dialogue in fate/samurai collab when ritsuka praised as "the most weakest magus, but the strongest master of humanity" Hope i can see more development character in next arc
He is quite an inspiration! It's very easy to see that when you start thinking what would you do in his situation. He is so detatched from his ego that sometimes it seems like he has infinite confidence. But in the end he's just a guy who's really determined to live his life to fullest, while clearly undestanding the fact that who HE IS, doesn't matter, but the things and people around him do. He never humiliates anyone, neither does he boast about his accomplishments, he calls Gordy commander just to make him feel better, he takes advice from Kadoc while clearly being more experienced than him. Even after being tortured in shimousa, or being captured in traum, he just chills and doesn't hate the wrongdoers. People underestimate how hard it is to supress your egotistic feelings like this and live a contemplative life, that's what all those ancient Taoist and budhist sages lived their lives for. Gudao has Nirvana EX++
Ritsuka is probably the mc to go through the most shit in fate. From the literal destruction of humanity to being forced to destroy alternate timelines/lostbelt. And all this while being a third rate mage at best. Bro deserves more respect PS; Another great manifestation. I love the way you presented ritsuka's history as well as his ideals. Then just imagine it, lesbian relationships with the protag for a change. Then there’s my personal reason of staying as far away as possible from the self insert aspects of Ritsuka. Cause I like that archetype the least out of them all & is why my gender is female in every fate game like fgo
