Just after we finished this video, Kim Da Young uploaded a post in which she apologized for being a delinquent back in her school days. But, she firmly denied all the accusations about her stealing money from kids and physically hurting them. She confirmed that her behavior was immature and rude, but she claims that she had never hurt others physically or stole from them. Da Young expressed her desire to apologize to the victims in person, but she refuses to apologize for the alleged things that did not happen. On top of that, the production of Physical 100 announced that they are cancelling the press conference that was scheduled to happen. They cancelled it due to the controversies involving the cast. It’s a very sad ending for this amazing show. What are your thoughts on the situation? They didn't cancel because of the cast, they cancelled because people are now aware that they rigged the final quest. It was done 3 times, the second first times was not won by the winner. Thats why the runner up never did any press for the show.
@@lawlola6044 I freaking knew it was rigged! no way he actually one, the editing was so choppy. I mean really a crossfitter beat a cyclist. do you see the cyclist muscles, impossible...
I feel so bad for Hae-min. he worked so hard and all of that went to waste. you can clearly see that something was wrong with his rope at the end, it wasn't moving at all as if it was stuck or tied from the back. meanwhile jin young's rope was moving seamlessly. I hope he gets the justice that he deserves.
@@user-by4we4jj7sAre you dumb? hae min told already that he cant feel his arm anymore so he use his body try to pull it but woo jon yoong is tired also but he have willpower to continue even his body is hurting also and when he so the end of the rope he keep pulling with his all strength left do you understand now?

If you try to read Hae Min's statements again, you can clearly see that he wasn't upset with Woo Jin-yong. He was upset with the production team. It was really unfair if what he said really happened, however, what he just wanted the production team to do is include those prior 2 matches in the final editing so people will know why he lost. I don't advocate hate and I feel for Woo Jin-yong receiving all the hate and backlash. Anyway, I really enjoyed the show.
One second you talked about a male contestant who assaulted his ex while showing Sungbin's pictures, even tho the identity of the said contestant isn't clear, and the next second you praised Sungbin as the nation's pride 😂 come on, you can do better
I don't see where they showed Sungbin's picture? They are talking and showing pictures of all the male contestants so ofc he is going to be in some of them..
@@lawrencefrost9063"big difference" are you trying to normalize manipulation? its an awful thing to do to anyone. I'm sure you wouldn't want to get manipulated from someone you love or is close to you.
OMG! I love Cho Sunghoon’s response to the island comment! 😂 He is so right! It wasn’t anyone’s to begin. It actually is Mother Nature who owns it. Like many Hawaiians said before the the whole Captain cook thing, no one owns the land. It is our Kuleana to take care of the aina.
i followed his career since his Judo days and I am a fan, but well....he has a lot of controversy. Basically he was found to be cheating in Judo and MMA in the early part of his career. I thought the video would have talked about this.
One thing we have to understand is bullying differs in diff countries , me and my friend used to get bullied so bad in middle school that we literally had to give money to our bullies . it went on for 2 months because it was a new school until I told my grandmother and she told me to fight back ! And that’s what I did. I had to fight them daily and always we used to enroll in the same classes and when we rode the bus I’ll follow her because since I was a big chubby girl, all the girls were now scared of me. Although time has passed I was able get over it but my best friend didn’t . She still has some trauma that comes from time to time . My point is we cannot judge or force people to forgive and forget what happened !!! Everyone doesn’t have a strong mentality
That still dosent mean that they would suddenly pop up when a person is at their peak. It the bullying really was that extreme, they could've reported it sooner. But no, they only ever report it when they see someone rise up. That's revenge not justice.
@@jenniessamsung7822 You have to understand, similar to these me too cases, some people want to forget. But then they see or hear some news or some person or are in some other way forced to relive those memories and they stand up and talk about it. I mean think about it. If your bully were to run for office for example, would you talk about it, after years of silence? Maybe you had forgotten about it but not this person is going to have power? Not on your watch.
Its not a matter of having a strong mentality or not. Its about stopping the normalization of abuse. We know its bad, we know we have to fight it, but then why not attacking the roots of the problem, which is a culture that enables might making right? If we only keep adressing the symptoms instead of the root cause, the disease will never go away. You can tell the weak to deffend themselves from the strong, but that won't stop the strong from keep coming over again and again whenever they have the chance.
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, the male contestant accused of threatening to harm himself to intimidate his ex-girlfriend was a former ballerino. From what I can remember, there was only one ballerino. (Korea JoongAng Daily) There’s another case of a male contestant who was a rugby (Koreaboo) player on the national team member who was bought in as he was accused of assaulting his girlfriend. There were 2 rugby players on the show but I don’t know if they were both on the national team.
I hope people won’t be too quick to judge da young. I’m not siding with her but I think we’ve seen enough of how bully accusation can cause damage to one’s career. We need to learn from what happened to Soojin from g(idle) Jimin from aoa.
we've also seen the effects on what bullying can do to kids too and how far they can go to escape that reality. She admitted to some bullying in school and apologized. I hope somehow the victim can overcome their anxiety and have a conversation with her to talk it out. But overall this is good to help serve as a lesson that bullying is wrong regardless of the time.
Saying this as someone who was physically assaulted during middle school, I went through bullying for several years back then, and I'm not saying Dayoung didn't do anything wrong but being RUDE isn't the same as bullying and her accuser waiting a public figure become more famous to talk about it clearly making up things that didn't happened (like accusing Dayoung of stealing) is at least weird...
GUYS THE FINAL WAS RIGGED 1) Woo stopped the match because he claimed "there was too much noise" and rested for a period. 2) When they started again, Hae Min saw that he was close to winning. BUT - staff ran in and said to STOP because audio had not recorded! HE WAS DRAINED. 3) They said the two had to leave the area. AND THAT THEY WOULD REWIND the rope to when the audio stopped! 4) Hae Min had gone all out the last few minutes and they made him start all over from the period of audio problem! 5) When Hae Min returned to the set, he saw that there was so much rope left - way more than he had already unwinded. 6) Because he had used up all his strength, Hae Min lost. 7) Hae Min told all of this in an interview - he doesn't want the money but just wanted the truth to be out. 8) BUT the Netflix Team said they would not show the entire process. 9) Rigged. 100% 10) MBC in the past has rigged many shows so this is not new.
Hae min is a sore loser. He changed his story depending who he was interviewed by. And the other contestants that were there, all disputed his claims. Rigged? None of the popular contestants made it to the final. There was no rigging. Getting your info from badly written and not well researched western tabloid websites and social media with language translation issues, is not the best place to get info from.
I just finished watching all 10 episodes I didn’t know about this until I searched Physical 100 it was a good show I hope they come back soon for season 2 I want to see more ! But these accusations are insane and one with the ex-girlfriend caught me off guard but at the same time everyone did a good job competing tho , I love Sumi but I didn’t know that Cha - Hyun Seung was her backup dancer
I was bullied as kid. But it was ages ago, and I moved on. I didn’t even blame the bully, I am guessing he wasn’t a bully when he grew up. We all did silly things when we were young. Now if you are an adult and do bullying, that’s a different story.
If you are a bully you have to deal with the consequences no matter the age. You do dumb stuff as a kid no doubt but you still have a brain that you can use. One should know whats right and whats wrong.
if it's like simple teasing bullying that's kinda can be let go... but if it's more than that and basically made other people suffer much worse like suffet and not experience a good school life. you should pay... problem in some countries and so on some cases of bullying are insane mate.
I’m glad you healed and it should be that way I was bullied too but I forgive them. It’s just not right to bully them back I mean then what’s the difference between us and them. So racially if they are on tv humiliating them in front of millions.
Some of the pictures used of "Miracle" are actually of Nigerian reality TV personality and dancer Praise Nelson(his brother)....do better research next time
Ppl say it was past, get over it, not everyone is strong, if those bullies causes some mentall or pysochological illness, i wouldnt forgive them. i never forgives ppl, because i have patient, endure thing for a while, after that , those bad things may change my character, 4 example , ppl can be anxious, depressed, coward, or another psychological or mental disorders after getting bullied, and those are irreversible and unforgivable.
It’s bad that kids bully during middle and high school or when people commit domestic violence, but it’s crazy that “victims” come out when these bullies get a job that the victims feel they don’t deserve. This happens even to people not on television. Even in everyday lives of people. I am totally against violence and would support a victim. If they are unable to come forward because of trauma, which happens a lot, then understood, but because the person doesn’t deserve to get a certain job? I don’t support this because it’s revenge and not justice.
It's not that the victims come out after bullies get a job. It's that you either forget about a bully or there's nothing you can do about them when they're normal people, and when they're normal people you wouldn't even have noticed if accusations came out against them. If someone harmed you and you wanted to sue them, good luck getting money from them when they're poor or even relatively well-off. Lawyers charge a lot. Also, victims are not always "victims". How can you assume an accuser is lying without any evidence? Basing an argument off fact is what you claim to believe in bit you're contradicting yourself here. Also, in real life victims are coming out all the time if you pay attention. If someone is a horrible person, maybe they don't deserve to be rewarded. Sure, revenge is horrible but it's not about revenge. And yes, people can change.
I see what you’re saying, but I don’t think there’s ever a wrong time to seek justice. If you choose to see it as revenge, that’s fine, but it still doesn’t take away the fact that those bullies and abusers have hurt people and sometimes have destroyed lives. To a victim, revenge and justice are often the same, only a regular person would take the time to differentiate them. It’s not as if those victims purposely wait for the perfect opportunity to bring those abusers down. Most of the time, those victims are not properly supported by the justice system and let’s be honest, South Korea has a lot of work to do regarding bullying, domestic violence, and rape. The only way victims can have their voices heard nowadays and make an impact is through social media. It’s not that the victims never spoke about their traumatic experiences, sometimes, it’s mainly about the fact that people don’t really care about victims until their abusers become famous or successful. If abusers had stayed clear assholes to everybody, people would be rooting for victims to get revenge. But if the abuser becomes successful, the public starts crying about it and throws stones at the victims. Also, there's the whole fact that the public eventually forgets. I can see how it can be seen as revenge or “cowardly” but even though people have the right to be forgiven for their mistakes, mistakes are never erased. Mistakes follow us, that’s what we get for making them in the first place. And we’re not talking about a simple mistake here, we’re talking about bullying (sometimes more extreme than what we think). Honestly, we don’t know those people, we don’t know if the bullies paid for their crimes, we don’t know the intentions of the victims, we don’t know if the accusers are really victims, we don’t know anything, so I’d prefer to not assume anything really.
You can work as hard as you want to move on from a trauma and live your life, but to suddenly see the person's face everywhere because they are featured in something like this, it forces you to confront things. If you gave it any thought, I'm sure you'd understand.
There is an article saying the show is rigged. And that Hae-min won but they couldn't get audio so they made him play again. And I believe it because there is an old video of Hae-min and dude smiles even in the toughest days,he is a super gentle and shy person. And what makes me believe that article is that Hae-min never uploaded anything about Physical 100 in his insta, even the contestant that stayed only one day is uploading pics but he didn't uploaded even one. I am pretty sure he is mad at the show.
Im sure the winner wasnt rigged because he gets little to no recognition. Woo jin yong but if you are talking about the influencer girl who stood without struggling at all at the boulder hold of 40% of their body weight, that is very sus. She didnt even struggle at all.

Second it is said that Hae-min won but the audio was bad so showmakers made him play again, for which he was upset. As for Eddeum she must only 49-52 kg. So 40% of her weight will be only around 20kg which is easy. I don't even do weight training, even I can carry 25kg easily. So her being a pilates and weight lifter, that will be easy for her. Also the stance she did,put the weight on her core and legs. And pilates or core workout can really make your legs and core strong.
@@JesusSavesTheLostBrokenConfuse Euddeum is very light and since her bust was about 40% of her weight it's was about 20kg, and also since she does pilates she knows the best way to stand. it is a matter of statistics... in a group of 100 people there is going to be several with a dark past. Let´s pretend we are surprised... it is S.Korea after all... it was a matter of time that someone would post some accusation... ... i am not justifying any bad behaviour but a lot of people are not saints... and specially the fitness industry (like many other industries but more beautiful) is FULL of big time hustlers (not sure if that is the right word) with not always the best intentions... I am sure NETFLIX knew or suspected some of them were at least controversial... Netflix was actually quite successful in holding any controversy until the show was done... To me, despite some contestants wrong behaviour, this show is so impressive in so many aspects... IT is beautiful, it is entertaining but it also feels like a very interesting study of the differences and similarities (psychological, physical and aesthetic) between athletes, fitness models, ex-athletes turning into fitness models, dancers, professionals with physical jobs, people who use steroids, people who do not, small people, big people, ... I definitely will watch season 2
All of this drama just seems to pale in comparison to what happens outside of Asia. The actor Mark Wahlberg hospitalized two Asian men when he was 15 while calling them racial slurs and also gathered a mob to throw rocks at black people and somehow he's making blockbuster movies today. I swear, it almost seems like people just dig decades into someone's past as soon as they get even a little famous just so they can "cancel" them.
@@ClaireEmilia And do you think a celebrity in Korea would be afforded the same forgiveness if they did exactly the same thing? The point is that Korean celebrities get cancelled for relatively much smaller reasons.
Has anyone seen the glory? Idk but she could be manipulating the public that she didn't physically touch them but it sounds like she got others to do her dirty work. The bully in Korea is insane. She should be getting in trouble. Ppl saying oh it wasn't so bad, or I hope ppl aren't to hard on her don't really understand how bad bullying can be or how it affects ppl. She seriously bullied so many peers as well.

Dayoung's thing is so made up 🤡 Definitely she was rude as a teenage, she apologized for it... but if the person was serious, why would they need to lie about being stolen or physically assaulted? That's such a attention seeker behaviour
This information is yet to be confirmed. But I also recently saw an article where Cho Sung Hoon went out to dinner with the Ship Pulling Team and both Hae Min and Jin Young were there.
The article says that first round was stopped by Jinyoung saying his rope had technical difficulties. 2nd Hae-min won but the audio wasn't clear so they forced Hae-min to play again when he was out of strength. I honestly believe the article because Hae-Min never uploaded about Physical 100 in his insta, kind of fishy how everyone is uploading pics of their experience but he hasn't. And if you watch his other previous videos ,dude is too kind and positive to talk shit about people so i am pretty sure he hasn't complained because of that.
while the quote sounds really good that "land belongs to everyone," it's not as simple as it seems to the average person watching this. for example, an island that was inhabited by indigenous people in australia but then forcibly taken over by the british would sound pretty messed up to say that "it just belongs to everyone" because that implies that the british were not doing anything bad in the first place. japan's history of occupying korea is a very cruel one, so it's not really telling the full picture here to just say an island "belongs to everyone."
I mean, you want your bully to be loved and adored by everyone? Bullied people has that trauma for a long time - they would never forget that they were bullied. Bullies however easily move on. You should watch "The Glory".
That’s the most hilarious part, because before the show, she most likely already had a bunch of followers on instagram. Why they didn’t expose her then??
@@liliachan3753 you have no right to put pressure on a victim. A victim has the right to choose the time when they are prepared to fight back. I didnt like how the wrestler attacked and ragdolled the prison guard in the show it was totally free disproportionate pure bullying and way far from martial arts honorable mindset. what credit do you get for beating someone who doesn't understand what youre doing?.. some will say ' yea but they're both strong and that's a physical contest anyway ', the thing is that's the wrestler world champ who challenged the non wrestling whatsoever guy lol...But I think that's also typical of wrestling guys mentality. I am not saying that the act of self violence makes any sense.. but how would a dude beating himself up in front of his gf in the attempt to sort of manipulate the girl's motherly instincts have any legal conundrum?
It’s considered an abusive relationship. It’s manipulative and a form of blackmailing. It’s a whole topic you can google about. There are hotlines for it and everything.
@ramentasty8 yea.. but the girl doesn't have to be manipulated if she wishes not to. It's like saying a store is having a really convincingly hard to not goto sale. Therefore, you are a victim of retail sales put together by multibillion dollar institutions.. because they are evil.. all you have to do as females in these relationships is to walk away.

I think there needs to be an investigation. Korean entertainment is so used to any fan can comment about anyone. That doesn't mean that it is true. Western world stars wouldnt have a job if everything put online would get them cancel.
People do stupid things when they were less matured. But that doesn’t defne them as a person for life as long as they are willing to admit their mistakes and move on. Repence and forgiveness require lot of strength too.
why would anyone care what someone did in higchschool? They were kids and people change. I know a lot of bullies and bad kids in high school who are completely different after growing older.
I learned that bullying accusations in korea are taken very seriously, especially towards those who are gaining media popularity (ex: kpop artists). if that happens, people demand answers and/or hope the perpetrator gets punished. usually their public image/careers are put on the line for accusations like this.
I wish all my high-school bullies the best . I wish that whatever toxic environment ,that I couldn’t see , they escaped…. If you viciously go after a high bully in the manner that I see alot of Korean do, you are also a bully, you also hurt someone and gained nothing good from it , it made you no better especially knowing that the persons changed for the better and no life was lost.
I think it just depends on how long ago it was. like if it was 4-5 years ago and no amends were taken then it matters (mostly because what was said in the video was extortion and that's a more serious crime). The statue of limitations for extortion is 5 year, in the US at least. I don't know about korea as they are super weird and the law is very corrupt there (considering the last 10 years). To note - if they murdered someone in highschool I think most would care. Just to note it was only recently that korea removed the statue of limitations on murder (korea all types of messed up for their laws).

Netizens are always looking for something to have a problem with. Bullying accusations are suspect when it's years later that someone says anything. Like you would have taken it for so long?
On earth, when you do one thing bad and ten things right, people will remember that one thing bad and forget about the rest. That’s the reality of life. Nobody is totally bad or totally good, expect God and evil. At times, we become instruments of good and other times instrument of bad.
I stopped watching because it was just poorly cast and poorly set up those 2 weak a88 girls ended up somehow on the super strong guy teams when they were not half as fit or did as well as the girl who was leading the underdog team or the pink hairded girl. It became boring watching people so equally matched with no underdog to root for. When the team with the girl lead won the bridge sand challenge I cheered so frigging hard and she and the pink girl showed themselves to be absolute monsters overcoming stuff way better than those meathead doofuses 'I pick things up and put them down' all they had going for them was just pure strength for crap like pulling they were not well rounded athletes and at the same contestants who would have made a great show like the super strong girl got eliminated right away the end was just a sausage fest of equally buff looking til they melded together men. I would have liked to see LESS team sh1t so those useless tw0ts in the boat pull couldnt keep hiding behind their guy teams and also maybe have it not be coed like this because sausages will always pick other sausages. Lastly, I wanted a more diverse group of athletes this was all gd MMA and weight lifters there should have been a limit on athlete type and gender if ur going to insist on coed so for ex 2 firefighters 1 male and 1 female, 2 cops 1 male and 1 female and so on. Also the mix should have been cops, firefighters, circus people who do the aerial stuff, pole dancers (they have strong a88 arms), equestrians, soccer players, football players, baseball players, rugby, wrestling, mma, yoga practioners, and so on
