scftiebbie welll.... the show on the last episode is sad and also as Nancy and Jonathan are dating in the show, their dating in real life, so she probably took it a little real
I don’t think it’s fair to label her as anorexic just because she’s thin. If she was overweight people would applaud her for being a plus sized celebrity, not crap on her for her body type.
If she was always that thin it would be a different story but you see her go from normal very thin to EMACIATED in the past few years. That is NOT normal.
There's this thing called fast metabolism? I am naturally skinny too and I can eat like an elephant if want to and not gain weight. Besides, calling someone anorexic just because they're skinny is just as bad as called a chubby person obese. So many people have called me too skinny or that I should eat more when in fact I eat the same amount of food as everybody else, if not more. Someone even called me anorexic as a joke 6 years ago. Yep, still remember that while that person probably forgot about it. In conclusion: skinny shaming is a real thing and it's not okay. If you are genuinely concerned about someone, that's good but don't just make insensitive comments just because you can.
that‘s true. anorexia‘s an mental illness that often results into weight loss. just because someone is skinny and eats less doesn’t mean they have an ED ! as someone who‘s struggled with an ED for seven years, i do understand where the concern is coming from, though. shes really skinny and has been used as thinspo on ed tumblr/twitter. and people tend to diagnose others with mental illnesses based on their looks all the time (think of Billie Eilish) so its not a surprise . still, def rude to assume such things, especially if they turn out to be false.
im doing great thank you so much for asking! quarantine‘s kind of tough on everyones mental health atm lol but im doing my best! i hope you‘re staying safe as well and taking care of your mind and body. greetings from europe
Throwing around the word anorexic to skinny people and accusing them of it without knowing proof is very very wrong. I’m skinny myself and get bullied for it, but it’s how I was born i can’t change anything about it. And maybe she was born like that too. So quit accusing people of something before you even know the truth.
If someone commented on the weight of a plus size or overweight person that's not ok but it's perfectly fine to pick on people for being thin? Weight can be directly related to hormones/thyroid. Often times people have little to no control over how thin or overweight they are, so keep the comments to yourself.
people are naturally skinny, i'm sure she has a fast metabolism and besides she works out A LOT so that makes her even thinner but that doesn't mean she isn't healthy lol,,
I cant believe he did that to a person that suffers from self image and self esteem whats a horrible guy. Had this vid recommended to me came here to give him the benefit of the doubt, dissapointed.
It seems pretty wrong to comment about her weight like this. The actress has never come out to say anything about being anorexic or anything of the sort. If she were an overweight actress we’d be told to celebrate that. Maybe she is a naturally thin girl. Either way it was not an “untold truth” about her because there was no factual basis behind it.
THANK YOU!!! the likelihood of a fast metabolism or a really balanced diet+exercise is just as high as having an ed but no one cares unless there’s something wrong with her
she was at a normal weight before stranger things and then lost a ton of weight to the point that she looks sick. that is not natural or healthy at all
@@meanpeaches9171 a fast metabolism and balanced diet doesn't make you go from having a normal weight for most of your life to being critically underweight. she was not healthy
@@firedog1972 some people are naturally thin, their comment is not false. I myself struggle with a fast metabolism and cant gain weight, just depends on the person's metabolism.
@@shmiggybopp i can relate. i hate when people asks are you on a diet? are you purposefully doing this to yourself? and I'm like wow thanks for making me feel insecure.
@Al Wa but if she isn't she is gonna feel like shit since she probably can't do much about it, and besides it takes more than one youtube video saying you have an eating disorder to realize you have an issue and to want to get better so sadly this will only cause more harm than good
I think she should be honest and open about it. When I was struggling with an eating disorder, I used to watch videos of her getting thinner and thinner along with other celebrities. Her weight loss transformation is everywhere on tumblr. I looked up to her at times when I wanted to binge. She isn’t naturally like this and if she was open about it and talking about wanting to recover it would motivate others who are struggling with eating disorders to get better. I have recovered from an eating disorder and it’s because of other influencers who recovered and talked about it. It’s really motivating to see others get better and look happier. I’ve gained 25lbs and there are days that I don’t like the way I look but I’m in a way better place now than I was back then.
It seems wrong to talk about someone’s weight. And to talk about someone’s body when it isn’t yours is rude. And just bc she’s skinny doesn’t me she’s anything but skinny
If she was always that thin it would be a different story but you see her go from normal very thin to EMACIATED in the past few years. That is NOT normal.
Its a bit upsetting that people are ok with calling out skinny people for being skinny or losing weight, but if anyone pointed out that a celebrity is dangerously overweight, they would be "fat shaming" .. I had an issue gaining weight for several yrs n it REALLY hurt when ppl asked me why am I so skinny n i need/should to eat more. No one would dare walk up to someone n ask why are they so fat..!? Shes skinny. That's how she was made. If we all looked the same, it'd be boring. I'm sure she has family n friends that can help her IF there's an issue. I don't see how total strangers making comments about it would be helpful to her.
She's clearly trying to maintain a certain aesthetic, for the industry she's in. It's not a good look, but that's what Hollywood considers ideal. 🤷♀️ She'd look much healthier with a little more weight.
throwing the word anorexia around when she has never come out to talk about that is very wrong. we don’t know what’s going on. she could be completely healthy...
cid facetious considering natalia’s MOTHER had to come on here to defend her daughter from these body shaming comments, i think i’m the right one here. skinny does not equal eating disorder and the shithead of a man who made this should be ashamed
@@Hallie0601 yeah Amy Winehouse is Dad said she didn't have a drug problem it's not body shaming to notice if somebody is obese were incredibly unhealthy but I already know where you come from because you're clearly an sjw with no logic just emotions you're the reason this country is falling
Of all the personal, and sometimes private information shared about celebrities, I think her weight causing speculation of an eating disorder is one of the more valid topics. It's good to see so many people concerned about her drastic weight loss. Why would it be wrong to comment on an obvious observation, when it brings attention to a potential issue? As someone who's struggled with anorexia in the past, it can be eye opening to get input from another perspective. That being said, she could just be healthily dieting. What she eats doesn't exactly scream anorexia or weight loss either..
Or even have an illness that she wants to keep private. I got sick 1,5y ago and lost 25lbs in 3 months, I felt really ashamed about the illness and hated it because I've always been skinny and losing weight isn't something I want. I'm still sick and it's possible it's a permanent issue, although with medication I managed to get weight back.
You all are so ignorant and disgusting. Body shaming is NEVER okay and neither is judging someone’s looks. It hurts to see you all comment just gross and unnecessary things.. it shocks me how you all don’t realize that Natalia has most likely seen comments like such and you all still continue to do it. She’s beautiful and very talented and doesn’t deserve any of the hate she receives. Please realize celebrities have feelings and that assuming something based off looks isn’t going to get you somewhere. Now please let me continue loving her without these negative comments, she means so much to me 🥺❤️
It’s her dramatic weight loss. Among other obvious sx. Stop with the fast metabolism nonsense. Your metabolism doesn’t dramatically speed up at age 27. Come off it already. If you saw the problem with anorexic models in the 80s and 90s, this is no different.
throwing around the word anorexic and accusing people of having eating disorders without concrete proof is not okay and can be harmful and triggering to people like me who actually struggle with it
Eating disorders are mental illnesses. I understand that a news channel like this one reports on popular shows or other forms of media without really doing in depth research on every little thing, but to everybody watching this video who might not know, eating disorders can not simply be diagnosed based on how skinny someone looks. Many people are naturally thin, due to habits they practice without realizing (such as having good instinctual eating and easily knowing when they’re full) or their genetics. Assuming someone is anorexic solely based on the fact that they have a thin figure is not only harmful to that person, (seeing as many thin people get made fun of and called anorexic often without them displaying any of the symptoms of anorexia, besides looking underweight) but also to anybody struggling with an eating disorder who doesn’t look skinny. As I’ve already made clear, eating disorders are mental illnesses. They’re categorized by patterns behavior that include, but are not limited to: an apprehension to eating food, the tendency to over exercise, purging, self starvation and more. A fat person can have an eating disorder. A skinny person can have an eating disorder. A person who is at a healthy weight can have an eating disorder. I know this comment won’t be read by the people running this channel, so I don’t expect them to bother putting more thought into whether shoving rumors like this in their videos is a good idea. My main goal of writing this comment was to hopefully help people understand that the rumors being spread about whether Natalia is anorexic or not are harmful (specifically because she shows no signs of behavior associated with an eating disorder, if she did, this would be a different story) I’d like to apologize if I came off as angry or sensitive, but when sensitive subject matter is thrown around without a second thought (in a serious, factual, environment from a large, news-centered RU-vid channel), someone has to say something.
Yes as someone who struggles with Anorexia i knew other patients heavier than me Don't read whats in these boxs [] if you get triggerd by numbers. [i was around 11.6bmi but there was people with bmi of 22.]so it can range from any numbers really.] You can be skinny or heavier and still have an eating disorder. And some people don't notice that. And also i naturally have a fast metabolism so sometimes people think im still struggling because im naturally liittle underweight.
What a strawman. When you Dx anorexia you look for a cluster of sx. Your strawman is that it’s solely her thin figure that is the cause for concern. When in reality she has several overt sx. Nor does metabolism speed up at 27 barring very rare health issues which are treatable. .
Having lived with someone all my life who is anorexic her face alone has a classic anorexia look. Its sunken she looks much older than she is and she is tiny. People have the right to be worried but instead of reporting about it they should get her help. Also no one is saying you cant have a ED at any weight.
Except she DOES have anorexia. NOBODY is that naturally skinny, she was reported to weight an absurd 48kg! I hope she recovers soon cuz she's in serious risk of dying because of that stupid pursuit of ugliness
Natalia's parents are both naturally thin. That's just her genetics. Her father is tall and was an amateur kickboxer. Her Mom is small, a fitness instructor and former dancer. She comes from a very athletic family and loves to take classes, like kickboxing and indoor cycling, but isn't the body type to be very muscular. Why is it that everyone focuses on a woman's weight, and jumps to conclusions based on it? That is not the case at all for men. Charlie is very thin, and no one accuses him of having an eating disorder. So are plenty of other male actors. Yet you never hear of their weight mentioned as an indication of whether they are healthy or not. Why not focus on a woman's talent, rather than her weight? . Natalia works hard at her craft, to make sure that the characters she is given the opportunity to bring to life are multi-faceted, relatable, real. So, please do not pass judgement based on just a picture or your own bias. If you do that to someone who is "in the media" , chances are you may also be doing that to those you are around every day.
I agree with what you just said, it’s so irresponsible to label her like that, real fans know that she loves to go to the gym and work out and that she’s perfectly healthy and we also love how she portrays every single one of her roles :((
I agree with this. I’m so sorry you have to see this video. I keep trying to report but youtube is vile and still putting this up. Natalia’s true fans love and support her work for she is a talented actress. She is also a strong and beautiful woman who doesn’t deserve any of this slander. Wishing her well in all her future career endeavors and for hateful videos like this to cease to exist🙏🏼🙏🏼
She feels very strongly about what has happened. She was at the protest in Atlanta yesterday. Please check out her Instagram to see how to contribute to the bail fund for those arrested.
Karen Dyer I saw that!! i’m so happy that she did go and she’s constantly using her platform to spread awareness, i’m using my fan account to spread information too, so it’s nice to see that she’s just as angry as us
Hi so I know this is a rough time, but my grandpa just died and my grandma recently went into the hospital so if you can please send your prayers that she recovers I would really appreciate it.
Being extremely underweight is just as unhealthy as being extremely overweight. We don't know why she is underweight. It could be due to an eating disorder. Whatever it is I hope that she accepts the help that she needs.
I suffer with ED and tbh its not nice when some else talks about my weight, so I would ask, in the name of the ED community, if you could stop, and if Natalia is ready to speak about it, she will.
No one says anything when it’s models like Bella and Gigi Hadid or Kendall Jenner 🤦🏾♀️. How bout we all keep our opinions about anyone and everyone to ourselves.
I'm really thin, but I've always been really thin, since childhood you can see old pictures and I'm always the skinny one, for that, I don't think she's naturally thin, she must be sick, she wasn't that skinny even some years ago
I have noticed this video and another one where you have commented on Natalia's weight and body shape. Not only is this damaging for her, this is also something you have no right to comment on. Everyone is different and she should be able to act and do what makes her happy without people like you 'Riveted!' coming along and calling her 'too skinny' and assuming she is anorexic. Many people are naturally skinny and just because they look a certain way or are different to your expectations of a person doesnt mean that something is going on or wrong with them. I just really needed to get this message across, body shaming is in no way okay and it should not be normalized. Edit*: Just adding onto what I had already said, she is still pretty and a great idol. Body shaming works both ways and although people focus on fat shaming a lot more, skinny shaming is still just as harmful.
Well she is the most anorectic actor I have ever seen, she is still cute sometimes but I get really grossed out by her thinness most of the time. She would probably be a knockout if she put on alot of weight
tbh it’s not anyones place to talk about how thin natalia is, if she would want to talk about what she struggles with, then she can do when she’s ready but for now let’s not discuss about her weight or anything like that.
Being thin myself, it gets really tiring being skinny shamed. I eat and I can't help it doesn't firmly attach itself to my body. It's just how I was made.
If the actress is getting idolized by kids or teenagers, they imitate. So she needs to accept she is a role model. Clearly something is wrong bec it shows on her hallow face. Many Asians are thin but not hallow face like her. Prize of being famous,
@@miki-lk4yy When someone is sick because of an eating disorder it might be harder to spot when you focus on weight loss/showing bones/weight gain, aka the body. You can see it in someone's eyes though, when the eyes are dull and lifeless. This doesn't have to mean the person is underweight and physically sick, but once a person's mind is occupied with an eating disorder the eyes can seem a bit lifeless. If you pay attention to the eyes you can make the distinguishment between people who are for example underweight and actually sick by an eating disorder or just underweight but not sick
Natalia is so beautiful and it is so sad she might have anorexia. I have a friend that had anorexia about 5 or 7 months ago she says that she is fat even though she is 15 and only 115ish pounds
Reading these kind of comments make me so sad, for 2 reasons: I’m really sorry for your friend. But you just said "she might have anorexia"...No. Natalia probaly doesn’t, some people are naturally thin, have fast metabolism. It can be really offensive to call someone anorexic. When I was younger, some of my bones were kind of visible, and once someone did call me anorexic, it didn’t feel great. I was just watching this video, and when he went "natalia anorexia" or whatever I was shocked. Eating disorders are really serious things, and claiming that someone has one is not right.
@@lel7260 lt really isn't right to say that. I understand. I am just stating the what if and saying that everybody is perfect and that there is no reason for anyone to feel that way about themselves. There was a rumor spread at my school that I had anorexia and I felt so sorry for the people that actually do, because of the extent of my bullying of that part of my life. I am so sorry for what you have been through and I did not mean for this comment to be offensive in any way.
Hmm, I know how i feel about this.. this is not okay! your thumbnail is terribly edited btw! this is really just hurtful behaviour in my opinion. its not fair just to judge or assume ❤ if i were you i would take it down (just my opinion)
I feel like the media focuses more on a celebrity's personal and private life that what they are actually famous for. I think it's very judgemental for fans to diagnose her with something she may not have. It's nice to show concern, but it's none of our business. Everyone has different bodies and builds. I'm sure anyone having strangers labelling them with an illness would feel attacked.
poor girl, being an actress is no easy task. Either your judged for for being 105 lbs and accusing of anorexia or your judged for being 130 lbs and "fat" by industry standards and shameful people.
I just started watching strange things. I'm not going to act like I know her or her health status. But when I saw her I felt like something was wrong. Her face looked so dried up and how tiny she looked in her clothes. Anyways it's just an observation Could be wrong.
*please try not to throw big words like those especially without concrete evidence what so ever. it would be so disrespectful towards the actor if she didnt even have taht condition, and to anybody in general.*
