I kinda think the justifiction for it is that most biters are, by now (season 6) very old. And they only run when they're in a pack, because they get all riled up. So yeah, finding a pack of fresh zombies is quite rare, now that its been a couple years since the apocalypse.
Norman originally read for Shane, Rick and Merle but ended up with the bit part as Merles brother. Both Merle and Daryl were supposed to be killed off but we all know how that went.
Daryl completely changed the show. I suspect that Andrea, Tyreese, and Abraham were all watered down and ultimately killed off so as not to compete with Daryl for the role of Rick's right hand person. On the other hand, Daryl's relationship with Carol probably was the reason that prompted producers to further develop her character rather than kill her off in Season 3 (as had been considered). Merle had to go too, because in every scene that featured the Dixon brothers together, Merle stole the show from Daryl!
*So, let me get this striaght. AMC booted out one of Hollywood's greatest directors for no reason and we lost Dale as a cast member because of it!? Seriously screwed up.*
Nigel Johnson I'll admit he's not my favorite character. But it would have been nice to still have some sort of father figure. I mean, we lost him and Herschel. It just really sucks.
They got rid of Frank Darabont because he was straying way too far from the comic book and tried making zombies smart and be able to remember their past, which is not the creative direction the show needed or wanted to take
We lost Dale because he followed his boyfriend director out. I don't blame him for what he did, but it still sucks. While watching "The Mist" I noticed that Dale, Carol, and Andrea from TWD are all in that movie, me and my brother were watching and both said, Jesus half of TWD cast is in this movie.
I think an example is when the little girl was holding the teddy bear in the first episode. I thought it was a brilliant episode, just not the concept the Kirkman and Co. wanted to convey.
I always wanted to watch TWD but I always get anxiety, I can't watch anything serious with zombies sadly. I always have the urge to kill myself strangely when I watch something with zombies. I know, it's edgy XD
teewrecks x I barely watch t.v. anymore, but I'm obsessed with this show !!! I even watch the talking dead !!! And that's a show about a show I just effing watched ! And now here I am clicking on obvious click bait on you tube !!! well played TWD well played.
Frank Darabont, one of the best directors of our time, was kicked off the show because AMC were greedy shit heads and refused to increase the shows budget despite The Walking Dead being wildly successful. The shows quality suffered greatly because of this, and it's this reason why Season 1 of the Walking Dead seems so much better than the rest of the show.
@Looper Andrew Lincoln was castings second choice, Thomas Jane was locked in a contract for tv show Hung. Thomas Jane would have been the Rick Grimes of the comics come to life. It's not to late to edit and re-upload your video, I encourage it.
Phlegm Atic yes I'm sure that the father was being funny but this episode got a little, not racist, more like condescending. Like "silly old world foreign types." I cringed a little. This is an excellent series of videos otherwise they just told that story a bit in-artfully. Walking dead reminds me of my wife who left me. She was my best friend. Season one we entered the password every week to win a chance to be an extra. It was our thing. I'm still too sad to watch it again. Some day I'll have episodes to binge I guess.
Nafoo Season 6 had some of the most intense moments yet... But it was dragged down by so much filler! And I don't even mind slow story telling! 8-10 episodes per season I say!
Xpertfusion So you're saying shows like Game Of Thrones or Breaking Bad or The Wire don't have any character development or "breathing" in it's story telling?
I love this show, but honestly, after binge watching it, I just want to curl up in a ball. It's so goddamned depressing, and unfortunately, probably exactly how it would be in the event of some society-killing event. No one is safe and everyone is just one episode away from from getting off'd in the worst way possible.
Ramon Yeah I watched it but he never did TOO much. Most people can do what he can do with general knowledge. All he did was farm mostly, and anyone with half a brain can do that
I feel like it's important to note the season 1 budget of 3.4 million per episode was slashed to 2.6 or 7 million per episode. Most of the cast was already taking far less pay than they were due because they loved Frank. On top of that AMC took the entire bonus the show was paid by the state of Georgia, coming to about 1.5 million.
Just because it's untold doesn't mean they're hiding it. It would've said "EXPOSING THE WALKING DEAD LIES" if it was clickbait, I know a clickbait title when I see one. Dumbass
One aspect I feel that is completely void from the show, is that no one is ever really cautious or fearful. I mean, if you know walkers could be anywhere, as well as raiders, cannibals, scavengers, looters, etc. No one seems aware of any of their surroundings. I mean literally just walking out in the open, no weapons ready, or anything. It just always seems too safe in the show until they just want to throw something in. Just seems more linear than it should. It needs atmosphere.
I have to disagree and feel like you don't pay much attention. In a lot of scenes when they're out and about watch the people who aren't talking, their heads are on a swivel looking for anything. They never go into a building without banging on it first to draw out the walkers, and when somebody does go head first without looking they typically end up dead.
Kristian Nicholson like when denise took a crossbow bolt to the eye? they are on train tracks, on a path completely exposed. no cover. even when they knew bandits were in the area.
Good video Looper! I do love the intro/theme, so if you pay close attention, over the seasons the video clips in the intro have changed ever so slightly. Seasons 1 & 2 are the same, 3 & 4 are the same, and 5 & 6 are the same, we will see what 7 has in store for us! Can't wait, 3 days to go!
That dispute over money with the childhood friend and artist was ridiculous. It seems when the main guy of something makes it big, they forget the people who helped them get there.
Can't imagine how much better TWD would have been if Darabont carried on directing, the dude directed Shank redemption which is the #1 movie OF ALL TIME on iMDb
The information about kirkmen and frank is actually wrong, he was taking a wrong turn in the series such as Zombies being smart enough to pick up a rock to break a window, zombie could open up doors, and they could remember objects from their life and pick them up. Check it out. I have met and talked to both of these men, I live in Richmond ky, the birthplace of Robert Kirkmen, and I've also been to cynthiana and also Atlanta, You all need to find better information to put in a video if your gonna make it "the unknown truth behind the walking dead"
HauntedM Season 1 is a bit bad. I mean when it comes to certain things. For one, the camera filming bleghh... 2nd problem, they had some horrible accuracy. Rewatch Episode 1 and 5-6, mainly the hospital scene and pay attention
Everyone knew all of that. About 10 other videos with all that info were already made but with better narration, editing and details, step your game up pal.
Frank Darabont getting fired isn't really untold... it was all over the internet when it happened. I remember because everybody was freaking out fearing the show was getting cancelled or some stupid shit.
1M0RTAL_CH1CKEN lol yea I episode one was crazy it was really sad episode 2 not much going on it was just about the king with the tiger let's see what we got this Sunday for episode 3 of the walking dead season 7👍👌
I was down with the flu for a week and binged watched whole series. When I finally left the house, I got freaked out at every homeless person I saw. Trippy.
Kour FreeNN I think it will be something like the rest of the world is fine and it's just a section of the US that was infected as some kind of experiment to see how man would cope with such a thing. A bit of a long shot but I think it would be brilliant lol. !!
Something else that you could of put in there is that the actor who played Dale actually wanted to stay in the show after saying he wanted to leave, but it had already been written into the script and was too far into development.
He forgot in the Motorcycle Explosion scene that DoItWithDan was one of the cast on the motorcycles, a very popular motovlogger, also the lead motorcycle in that pack was his Magna :D
Daryl is bae xD Dixon brothers for life! Anyway the same deal was with Sasha, she auditioned for Michonne but Danai was already cast as her..but they made the part of Sasha just for her ;3
Actually, Norman Reedus didn't audition for the part of Merle. He auditioned reading Merle's lines, but Michael Rooker was already cast at that point and Norman was never going to replace him. The part about creating the role of Daryl Dixon specifically for him after his audition is correct, though. :)
It annoys me when people get annoyed cause there ain't enough action! The beauty of this show is that it shows the 'real life' of the survivors! Not every day is a gun wielding massacre in the streets
after binge watching to season 5 episode 1 i couldnt take it anymore ... id watched the first season when it came out and at the time thought it was really boring . not until the new season came out i watched until s 5 but the rollercoaster of emotions and how sad this story is i had to take a breeak from watching it. i see why everyone loves it so much but to anyone whos not seen it dont binge watch it ... take your time ...
The two things that I knew about was one they replace the first showrunner they sent them to Comic-Con knowing they were going to fire him and I knew about the Daryl Dixon why they made him cuz he did originally like you said cast for his brother Merle Dixon and they likes Norman Reedus so much they created his own character and if you ask me they should put him in the comics and might make them better too look up lets people love him in the show......
