They Should've kept the original BTS suit. OMG, it looks perfect. The spiderman Lotus suit from that fan film is the closest we'll ever see a suit like that in motion.
IKR?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always thought Tom Holland's Spider-Man suit actually looked better behind-the-scenes than it did with CGI in the actual movie! Since the black webs on the suit were popping out, and the spider on his chest looked more accurate!😃 they didn't even need CGI to make the suit look good!
Honestly I feel like they should keep the Scarlet Spider suit. Maybe if they introduce Ben Riley he could've found this suit as one of Peter's prototype suits and used it for his own like handmedowns.
I've always known about some of the alternate suit designs but this video covered even more for spidey and vulture. But I'm always a sucker for film scenes concept art since they just look so damn awesome. Great video as always, glad this channel is getting the attention it deserves 👍👌
As much as I adore MCU Vulture's design, I don't necessarily agree that the original bird suit wouldn't have translated well in live action. While this wasn't live action, Insomniac's Spidey game had a more traditional look while still being armor, which was what I expected for his design in Homecoming. MCU Vulture's design is still my favorite look for the character.
What about the OTHER vulture? After Toomes had been vulture for quite a while a legit monster vulture started attacking people. With like predator type jaws, black eyed and wings that sorta grew out of his arms.
I liked seeing the behind the scenes of Civil War. Looked ok-ish. Mask eyes would’ve been CGI but I liked how real it looked. The one we got to see is cool too but it has an uncanny valley effect. The black webbing is so muted it shouldn’t be there at all
@@antonyproduction-1the show isn’t canon to the MCU, that’s why spider-man has a different suit and why he even meets Norman Osborn. Which no way home claims oscorp never existed in earth-199999 thus proves its not canon
These videos you made are really well written. Easy to understand. If i could give advice.. i think more pause in transitions of sections/parts of video will help the flow a bit, and will give you more watch time. something like around 3 seconds pause wouldn't hurt... Awesome videos, we'll be waiting for more cut content videos!!
I think the unused concept of the original climax between Spider-Man and the Vulture woulda been way cooler to see. I think having the plane crash in a populated street causing casualties woulda kinda added more stakes. And Vulture using cars and things look like that to fight Spider-Man woulda been more of a spectacle to see than what we actually got.
I’m glad they didn’t go with the giant big dome helmet for the vulture to me it looks a little bit to much like the mysterio helmet by the way can’t wait for the unused concepts for Spiderman far from home.
I always thought the suit looked better behind-the-scenes then it did in the actual movie with CGI! The spider logo and the black Webs popping out of the suit we're both really perfect, and they got rid of all of that, and used CGI instead. I also like the CGI suit in the movie, but I always thought it looked better behind scenes. And now, after seeing this 1:50-2:27, I kind of wish they would've kept it like this.😔 but the good news is that they made up for all of it at the end of Spider-Man no way home.
18:10 good thing they removed it,it looks more like a crab than a spider, though it loooks like a tarantula that’s very big and round. More big and round than usual.
Another great video 👍 I hope you do a cut content on the Transformers movies next as theirs a lot of interesting concept art and rejected stuff from those movies.
Not just green but usually purple as well. Most of Spidey's early villains have a costume that's green and purple. It was easier for villains to have the same colour scheme while the heroes were more colorful.
@@SplayPanda60241 What i wanted to say is they've made a billion of cut in tasm2 so we're left with some arc being left out/not finished and even that ruin some characters development
1) tasm 2 didn't fail, but it was disappointing (the film's gross was 700m on a budget that was over 200) 2) yes tasm2 had a lot of deleted scenes but not 4 hours, the same thing happened to tasm 1 (it was originally 4 hours long)
19:05-That suit looks like it's Superior Spider-Man's suit if decked in a little bit more filling to detail in vibrance for Doc Ock's desires in the comics.
My only problem with the mcu Spidey suits is the lack of exaggerated web pattern , idk why but the suits in which the web design pops out more are quite visually appealing compared to the ones that don't have it
i believe the Vultures suit was changed due to him possibly coming across as creepy looking 😂 i don’t think Disney would want to go w a Vulture that was similar to the concept art of Sam’s SM4 especially for merchandise
Just came across your videos, and I must say, the thumbnails are absolutely eye catching. The videos are great too. Straightforward, to the point, and with much detailed information added to such concept arts.
Man… they should’ve kept the original design where the suit it’s can stretch and wrinkles Seeing the cgi version makes me think that I’m watching a cgi character
If you watched X-Men The Last Stand, then you that the Third X-Men movie was supposed to be directed by Bryan Singer and here's were the ideas that were never made: - The Dark Phoenix Arc - Emma Frost and The Hellfire Club - Nightcrawler's Cameo - Gambit.
Thank you for making this video I didn't know about the alternate designs for vulture some of them look cool some of them look nothing like the original comic book version of the character
6:17 they should’ve gone with this look for the movie bc it looks more like Spider-Man. Though, they could still have it be the bright baby blues to signify the youth and inexperience of Peter at the time.
There's a couple of other cut concepts from Homecoming, Such as MJ riding home with the Parkers after the Washington Incident due to her poor home life, and the context Behind the alternate ferry scene is supposedly that the Avengers caused the damage to the ferry and Spidey would be the one saving the day, seeing that the Avengers cause more Harm then good in Peter's eyes.
6:17 yeah probably wouldn't have sold as much toys if they opted for that one. And it would have fit Peter more since he has already been Spider-man for like a year. But it would have made sense why Tony designed Peter's suit the way he did. I hope in the Spider man Freshman year show they give him a more comic accurate version
Feel like homecoming was severely lacking as a marvel film it took a safer approach slowly building up in the last 2 movies, which is why id rewatch this movie the least
I love Spider-Man homecoming because it actually feels like a high school movie it gives me the same feeling I got while watching films like some kind of wonderful and the back to the future trilogy
It’s actually a different plane in the concepts. The plane appears to be a Hercules C-130, instead of the S.H.I.E.L.D. transport which it is in the final product
