This is a go to video when I can not get out and hunt. I have a three month old GSP puppy I can not wait to get started . Great stuff as usual CZ. For me. Watching a good dog work is a greater part of my enjoyment of a good bird hunt.

Brings back memories of when we had quail here in NE Texas. There's nothing like walking a fence row on a cold morning with a shotgun and a german shorthair pointer.

Central TX had great quail before fire ants. We ran English Pointers. Great memories!

I have a bobwhite and it's for the price you pay an amazing gun and well with getting. On top of that CZ has great customer service. I sent it in for a bad firing pin 2 years after buying the gun. They paid shipping fixed the pin cleaned the gun and did 2 trigger jobs on it. All un less than the estimated time to fix it. Buy one and you won't regret it!

I love CZ firearms but I really can't do these Turkish shotguns. Your paying a lot of good money for a gun that has "black chrome" barrels, I'd go Japanese over Turkish on shotguns any day. They make some decent handguns though I gotta give em that. Cool hunt though!

longbowmanjimmy You might be surprised how hardy the black chrome is. Blueing isn't nearly as rust-resistant, so if you're hunting in wet conditions, the chrome seals the metal away from the elements, and it prevents fingerprints from turning into rust prints. Give one a try, you might be impressed with the value for the money. Thanks!

I'm in the same mind frame. I usually just save a couple more months to get a real dependable and archival firearm. Sorry CZ your just not there for the more serious owner. Good way to get your feet wet into double barrels though. Cheers!

Nothing wrong with the CZ sxs guns. I hunt quail minimum of 2 to 3 days a week from opening day to closing day. I shoot a limit of dove (15 birds here) 6 times a week for the 2 weeks of season and the gun preforms great. Never had a problem with the finish or fit. Only issue I had was a bad firing pin and CZ fixed cleaned the gun and did 2 trigger jobs on it for no charge. Amazing service amazing gun and I tell dozens of people a day to buy one.

I've been upland hunting for over 40 years, I've got Remingtons, Brownings, Mossbergs.... I bought a CZ Deluxe in 2005. It quickly became my favorite gun. Ive shot close to 2,000 rounds through it, in the rain, sleet, snow....I've never had one problem with it.

@@TorchwoodLuthiers have 3 Bobwhites my 20 gauge has 1000s of rounds through it. At the South Dakota State Skeet Championship I won doubles in my class
