OKAY. SO. I HAVE AN EMBARASSING STORY. when i was a kid, i LOVED this episode of the upside down show so much that when i went to the art gallery of nsw, i was trying to look for the fridge there... there wasnt a fridge and i was very sad :(
"Two grand, thats an expensive entrance!" When they said "Too the window." I thought "to the wall" XD😂😂😂 I remember watching this when i was little. To bad they didn't have enough money to make a second season.
Im 22 now but when I was like 7 or 8 or something, I would always sneak over to my younger brothers room and we would watch this and wow wow wubbzy. As soon as I saw these guys were on tiktok, I got hit with the biggest wave of nostalgia. I loved this show and the memories I have of me and my brother thinking we were sneaky and thinking it was super late at like 10 or 11 at night are some of my fondest memories. Now I'm sitting here in college at 3 am watching these and just wishing to go back to that simpler time for just a few minutes.
I'm a college freshman and I'm literally sat here at 3am watching this show too! I'm convinced that this show kickstarted Gen Z humor before it got tainted by the internet lmao
One time my teacher said "That's crazy talk!" and I said "That's not crazy talk, this is crazy talk!" and I did what Shane did at 19:21 lmao it was during class and I surprisingly didn't get in trouble lol
Never mind that we have to get this picture up. We can put it on the wall! To the wall! (The two boys head to the wall but unfortunately, there's already a picture on the wall).
11:53 I'm surprised that in this episode, Shane & David found out what room they're in without somebody popping out of nowhere, and telling them what room they're in.
“There’s already a picture on the wall!” “Yeah, of a couple of ham sandwiches.” 4:40 oh my gosh, I never realized it was a picture of them! Kid me couldn’t appreciate all the jokes in this show, but I adored it nonetheless.
Shane: And I'm gonna hang my picture up on this wall. (splat) David: (muffled) That's not a wall, that's my face. Shane: Give me back my picture. David: That's not your picture.
Much with the wiggles how everyone had a favourite window, with this show I had (And still have) a favourite door and it was always the small one in the back! so whenever I saw them use it I was ecstatic
After 10+ years of not watching this show, I've now dedicated the day to watching as much as possible. Thanks guys for giving me the imagination I have today
When I was in first grade, I would often draw a recreation of Shane's masterpiece. My classmates thought it was weird though. Even my teacher said "That's a strange looking man". I don't care. I was proud of it.
20:33 Love this part! XD David: Shane, do not open that stuff closet. Shane: I'm gonna open the closet. David: Don't open the closet. Shane: I'm gonna open it! David: *DON'T!* Shane: I'm go-ing to o-pen the closeeeeeeeeeeeet! David: *WOOOOAAAAHHHH!* Shane: David! David: Oh! Shane: David? David: Yes? Shane: Are you okay? David: I'm fine! Shane: Wha-what's down there? David: Everything, everything is down here! Come and have a look! Shane: Okay, take the picture! XD
Sure, thanks! Mat Mc Coy, our dear puppet, forgive us, of course we love you too, especially the way you felt asleep on Dave's & Shane's gently rocking lullaby - in an other episode 😉 !
Good times, watching two episodes on noggin an hour before walking a block to my school. Pity that only aired in 2008, just before I graduated the fifth grade. Still love it today.

22:07 "They’re looking us fast as we can! Run fellas, run!" I really love this part when they’re pretending running stampede. This show is completely the best of my childhood and a good memories! 😁👍👍
This is one of my favorite episodes! I'm an artist myself! I'm a cartoonist! Brilliant masterpiece, Shane! Great job on helping your brother, David! Awesome finger painting, Action Fingers! Stay awesome, you guys! ; )
to see these guys still doing their thing & after all this time is truly awe-inspiring, especially considering how good of a show this was. It was different & weird, but in every good way possible. It was goofy & stuck out to me as well as countless others as kids. After all this time, they're now using their talent to entertain a more mature audience, which is where they can truly shine. Hopefully, if you're rewatching all of these episodes for a nostalgia hit, you take some time to watch their other stuff too. These brothers are absolute gods amongst men
Thanksgiving 2019 my friend is over and i mention this nostalgic show. She has never seen it. Im 17 she is 15 we start watching some of my favorite episodes. Im in pure joy. She likes a show not bc how how nostalgic it is (bc she never seen it) but because of the little simple jokes and we have vert low standards for humor. This show has always been the best but now its better because of that experience.
Disembodied voice that's there that I never questioned was till now: "Shane. David. You don't have a refrigerator. David: (gasp) "what are we going to do with all that cheese?" Not your biggest problem. Unless you're making a cheese sandwich. Then your in a bit of a pickle.
