Yeah, it's their dynamic. Beavis is actually not quite as dumb as Butthead, but Butthead is so self-assured that he is always in charge, having Beavis do most of the hard work and blaming him when things go wrong. Kinda like retail.
😂 OMG, that part whenever you totally thought for sure they were looking at the inner tubes, and grab the grocery cart, was comedic genius. Never underestimate the infinite capacity for stupidity. ❤
I call that the "Bait & Switch", they did that in another episode where they showed a car at the post office and made you think they were going to steal it only to have it be them mailing themselves in a box.
@@drakecarter1780 Mike is the owner not MTV, he was supposed to go to Comedy Central USA but never happened, now we have to pay extra for P+ which I will wait for freebies on YT or wait for the DVDs
@@drakecarter1780 I think MTV sold the rights to Judge so he would make the first B&B revival 10 years ago. The first revival's title page even says Mike Judge's B&B instead of MTV's B&B. I think it was just the perceived lack of interest that prevented the new series, the first revival did fail after all. But I think it failed because it aired on MTV.
These clips are funnier than the original series. I’m glad Mike Judge is taking another swing at this. Gen-X needs beavis & butt-head … every generation does.
I'm 44 years old. I was in an accident 25 years ago and it screwed with my personality a bit. I always had a good sense of humor, about a 7/10. After my head injury you'd think I'd lose some of my soh and it would be at least 5/10. I don't know what happened but my soh is now jacked up to about 11/10. That being said, I don't find a lot of the cartoons they have today are funny in the least. This brings me back to high-school. I'm glad CC is airing these. I now have a clear reason to laugh instead looking like a moron trying to find something funny in every situation I'm in.
@@leisti No. I guess I wasn't clear enough. I meant I don't find all the toons today funny. All the sponge bobs and southparks and others like that. There's episodes of B&B that I almost didn't make it to the bathroom in time. Had to unzip my pants and get ready to pee on the way to the toilet.

If you pay attention, Beavis is making a profound statement of how, rather than passively floating along with society's oppressive currents, modern feminism has empowered each woman to make her splash in the world as woman takes charge of the seemingly chaotic rapids of life in her roar through history.
Further, Beavis simultaneously contrasts his verbal expression by play-acting man's plight of society's rejection of traditional masculinity (the pool of unreachable standards), the failure of institutions to equip boys to not so much thrive but merely survive (the ill fated shopping cart replaces the life saving flotation ring), the overwhelming floods of frustration and depression from having no future in the new social order (the drownding), and the hopeless search for a female mate who has far outpaced and eluded them. Today's female oriented society drops men off the cliff of education and beats men mercilessly on the rocky rapids of life yet men still persist, despite their destiny of failure, because of the ancient intrinsic reproductive drive and need for acceptance. Man's future may appear bleak, but there is hope because of his dauntless pursuits of conquest and meaning.
A valuable lesson in life is never jump off a bridge without knowing what is below in the water. A friend of mine landed on a shopping cart and was crippled for life.
