They are wonderful. I wonder if they could perform this to citizens in the small towns in rural america. Places that have never experienced seeing performances from a complete orchestra or band. It should be a project of the different branches of service of the military. To perform in the towns that have not once seen them perform but have provided their young residents to serve in the military.

President Franklin Roosevelt would go to his health care retreat (he couldn't walk) every Christmas and instead of having dinner at The White House like most presidents, he had dinner with typical disabled citizens.. they'd joke, laugh, talk. It wasn't even a photo op or anything and it's not like he was removed from the crowd, he talked with everyone. Really amazing man I dont think too many Americans know a great deal about unfortunately.

With all the glass and metal in this huge exhibit hall, the acoustics must be amazing. I would have loved to have experienced this in person. A few lucky people did.

I spent 30 years as a US NAVY NURSE CORPS Officer based in San Diego then Hawaii, and I originally wanted to join the Air Force after I got out of Nursing School...long story short, I made many friends while I was overseas that were Air Force Medical personnel. I have the highest respect for our military brothers and sisters, but I especially love the Air Force orchestra/Band!!!! Thank you for putting this on even tho it's a year old but hey....it's all good.. God bless you, keep you all safe...Many Blessings and HOOYAH!!! I volunteered for the muesum yesterday. So proud and honored to have been able to be a part of this! USAF Band is amazing.

Watching this has become one of my traditions at the start of the holiday season. I get goosebumps and cry every time. Those visitors were so blessed to have been there.

Last year's 'flash mob' was fantastic! This year, oh my - they've outdone themselves. I love the drums, the creativity, and the arrangement is pure genius. Angels from heaven came down to earth to amaze us with this wonderful performance. Really world-class musicians and singers. Well done USAF. I knew they were performing yesterday. How I wish I was there to see this live..

Would give anything to see with my father once more, it was the highlight of our Christmas! He was military for over 28 years, while I married a military man also, career. Just once more, this one is for you dad! Thinking of you..

2013 flash mob was an amazing start. 2015 reminiscently special and 2016.... But this one, 2014, is epic. I appreciate the more recent performances for their diversity and creativity, but stick to your guns USAF. No one else does this - this 2014 performance is the USAF band at their finest. Either way, you are amazingly talented service members. Thank you.

In an instrumental flash mob, the piccolo player seems to have a distinct advantage.

I am so proud of our military. They can do everything from fight wars to make beautiful music.

I'm saddened that anyone felt compelled to place that disclaimer at the beginning of this video. America should celebrate its heritage without reservation. It was, after all, on account of the principles of our founding that America became a great nation. Let us not pretend those principles don't exist, for if we abandon them, we will surely lose our greatness.

Absolutely fantastic performance! I would love to see something like this in Ireland possibly with the combined Army number one band, the Garda(police) band, the Artane school of music, (all young talented musicians) and the choir of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin not New York!

Absolutely beautiful. Reminded me of High school in the late 70's, Clovis West High School. When not the USAF, but the United States Marine Band performed in our gym. I was at awe with them too. It made me proud of this country. These men and women not only would drop there instruments, to defend our freedoms, but also entertain us with so much talent. Very we'll done and thanks to all who have and are currently serving in the armed forces.

It's wonderful to know, especially at this time of the year, how well some of our tax dollars are spent. A commendable and spectacular performance

This band did a bus tour of Upstate NY and New Jersey in April 2018. The performance at my local high school was amazing- during a few numbers, they included some high school musicians, too. We loved it!

The english horn is a beautiful instrument. And this is coming from a guy who plays both Oboe and bassoon. They need to write more music for English Horn.

Pieces of Great music have always been themed around religious devotion. I honestly do not believe that Christmas music will ever be removed from our national scene, no matter how hard it is pushed to do so. Too many people love it and will always enjoy it.
