man I don't think you'll ever see this but thank you so much for your music, it's gotten me through so much just by letting me know someone else has gone through the same things as me, or at least had the same mindset. anyway thank you so much I'll never be able to tell you how much it means to me that you guys make this music
Am I the only one here who like the new stuff? When a band's around for this long, they change and try new styles. That's how it works. Do you dress the same as you did ten years ago? Probably not. It's the same thing for bands, they grow and change.
Cranium Bomb I love them all,but ranking in my opinion from less awesome to perfection their records would be:8 ARTWORK,7 VULNERABLE,6 IMAGINARY ENEMY,5 MAYBE MEMORIES,4 SHALLOW BELIEVER,3 LIES FOR THE LIARS,2 THE USED,1 IN LOVE AND DEATH.
Man, i have a different view on them, is that i don´t know how do they manage to keep the quality of their albums with barely changing their style, which for me is pretty much the same as ever, but with this same they do completely good songs without sounding repetitive. Impressive

Well for some reason, I am more in touch with their older stuff. I still love them, but I do love their older songs more. Vulnerable was okay. I think it's hard to make new music, but I still love them :)
I love the used so much. This band's music saved me so many times when I was a teenager and even now as an adult. I literally had the time of my life this past April seeing them live was just like old times seeing them at taste of chaos.
It's because they are REAL! They grew up in PROVO/MORMON UT, the most unlikely to make it Rock band in the WORLD! And they made it! Hollywood used them and spit them OUT! But they are not Finished they have just begun, EMO never DIES! They are passing their legacy to other Bands!
Bert almost always only wears Dickie shorts, in videos and in concert. This is the first time ive seen him with pants on lol. Well besides maybe the "all that ive got" video
I like this song and all... as well as all the songs in their newest album. But the idea of this music video compared to their older ones is pretty strange to say the least... remember "All That I've Got?" Amazing music video that even told a story throughout it.
Was hear hearing bulimic and sound effect and overdramatics, that after 2 years of listening to the used. I feel so bad now, not because this music is bad, it's because what the used represented to me was so fucking awesome. But they can't pretend they're still what they were, that's life. =/
Not sure how to feel. It is good, but not The Used I used to listen to. Yet again, progressiveness is good, right? Music is always evolving and if they had to play the same kind of sound every time I'm sure they'd get tired quick.
I agree I detest electronic bullshit but The Used have done it perfectly, not too much, not too overpowering, it's got that fresh sound but with their original awesome sound still taking over it. These guys definitely haven't been ruined.
Well, this is different... like The Used had sex with Blood on the Dancefloor and made a special baby. I'm going to side eye this baby... a lot, but I have to love it a little because it's still at least half The Used.
Bert honestly doesnt look old to me. Older of course because.. well that happens with time but.. old? nah :) he looks full of life and ready to rock out for years to come :)
huh??? lol publicity has nothing to do with it its the fact that after The Used (self titled) 1st album and there 2nd In love and death they turned into a poppy ass lamme band...dont get me wrong i love the used just nothing after in love and death and any true fan would see that lol
Vulnerable was awesome. Artwork was their greatest album, though. Most people will say that In Love and Death was their best, and it's a fantastic album, but Artwork is their masterpiece.
I hit somebody with my car while listening to this song. It made the experience a lot less traumatic and I didn't stop until the song was over. He smiled at me while he was half inside the car.
Hahaha. Maybe 20 years ago with 50 lbs less body-weight--but it's an understandable mistake, which I've heard before. Watch their video for "Cry," and I think you'll realize, quite easily-- Nope, it's not.

idk why this got negative votes. its just a question. he's probably new to the used and wants to know, nothing wrong with that. or maybe he just wants peoples opinions on it. But it's hard to say :p lmao... pun ;) didn't mean to do that ha. but i would suggest buying all the albums and listening to them all to find out what your favorite is :) look up the bonus songs on youtube since the cds don't have all the songs. oh shallow believer EP too.
I'm just saying..Bert wanted to head in this direction..they are creating the music they feel isn't stifled by the corp. eye, and pursue exactly what they want. Regardless of trends, people and real artists exist beyond that. It truly doesn't matter man, you think too much about something so little. It's about the craft and you should spend some time trying to see where they're coming from instead of justifying preconceived ideas about something you had no hand in making.
