No one is to old to appreciate any band. Any one of ANY age can appreciate any band. I'm 21 and I appreciate it. What she described was my generations "In" things. So shes gotta be at least around 17 or something. Don't judge before you know anything.
I used to dance with my sister to this song as a baby. She loved it. I used to ask her if she wanted to listen to "Bert" and she would get excited. Her first word was "Bert". She thought it meant music. Lol
The best days of my life we’re listening to these guys and hanging with my friends and parting hoping to never get old and here I am now almost 40 and I first heard this band in high school
Please never stop making music. I have been a fan since I was 11. I'm 22 now and still never get tired of listening to you guys. The day you guys throw in the towel my heart will die a little.
Seemed to stop my breath My head on your chest Waiting to cave in From the bottom of my Hear your voice again Could we dim the sun And wonder where we've been Maybe you and me So kiss me like you did My heart stopped beating Such a softer sin In your eyes I lost my place Could stay a while And I'm melting In your eyes Like my first time That I caught fire Just stay with me Lay with me Now Never caught my breath Every second I'm without you I'm a mess Ever know each other Trust these words are stones Why cuts aren't healing Learning how to love I'm melting (I'm melting) In your eyes I lost my place Could stay a while And I'm melting In your eyes Like my first time That I caught fire Just stay with me Lay with me (Stay with me lay with me now) You could stay and watch me fall And of course I'll ask for help Just stay with me now Take my hand We could take our heads off Stay in bed just make love that's all Just stay with me now I'm melting (I'm melting) In your eyes I lost my place Could stay a while And I'm melting In your eyes Like my first time That I caught fire Just stay with me Lay with me In your eyes I lost my place Could stay a while And I'm melting In your eyes Like my first time That I caught fire Just stay with me lay with me (Stay with me, lay with me) In your eyes Let's sleep till the sun burns out I'm melting in your eyes (I'm melting in your eyes) Let's sleep till the sun burns out I'm melting in your eyes
Zelda Lover I regret not seeing them. Went to their show back in 04 but there was over a hour gap between the opening band and them so my roommate dragged me out...../cry
I saw the Used the year this was released, and met Bert face to face and he is a fvcking legend. The Used have helped so many people through very dark places...including myself. Much love
Can't believe this came out ten years ago, i moved away from all the emo bands i listened back then but the used still have a special place. This band is all i listened during my teenage years, glad to see they're still active, sadly their music doesn't appeal to me anymore but i guess and hope the new kids will enjoy their songs as much as i did when i was 14. Plus they have a huge backlog of like 10 years of songs, that's really great.
Julien Choquet Try being in your 30's and realizing the best moment of your life were at these shows, all the dates, car rides, and having to download the videos on IRC cause youtube did't even exist. At least back then kids played instruments, and wrote songs, not just played a computer and autotuned..... Surely makes me feel old!
I was one year out of high school when this album dropped. Cruisin around in my riced out Honda with my best friend smoking bowls after bowls without a care in the world.. good fuckin times
have you ever loved someone so much you would do everything you can to be with them, that your heart melts and your eye's are fixed on them that you could never look at someone else like that ever, when you know you have it all and its right beside you and you never want to let it go.
Emo is the boomer generation style of our age. I equate this to Elvis in the age of our parents and eventually this will be the Elvis style classic of the when we were your age...
WOW. This is the first song I ever heard of theirs. Guess when I first heard it? December 2020 - just now! Directky after hearing it, I went to their channel, subscribed & listened to several more.. I love tbeir versatility! To me, that makes a truly great band. I smiled when a couple of you said "23 & still listening," "2020 & still listening". Well, it is almost 2021, I am 56 & just starting to listen! LOL! (I Always run late!) 🎼🎶🤘
It’s weird how I remember times I had and think they were better than right now but it’s just my brain hiding the same pain I felt then that I feel right now. In a way I’m thankful it does that for me.
I love how in this video, it's couples who actually seem to be in love, not some ridiculously fake looking couple chasing each other around. It's how a relationship actually looks, it's amazing
Listen to this band since 2008 when I’m just out from hospital . I’ve been through a lot since then . I’m just 17 year old. Now I’m 33th year old. Still love this band. Emo in my heart. Love his scream
When I was 17 I'm am super in love to you guys.. The used... But now I'm 32 and have kids.. Ur still the one to my heart and my whole life... I love the used... 💋 💋 💋 💋 💋 💋
As a young teen I felt really guilty liking music like this, like I would be made fun of for listening to bands that weren't popular or more heavy. When I got a few years older I really found my own style of music that to this day I favor. Those same kids I thought would judge me ended up liking what I did well after it was my day to day jam. If music means something to you don't worry about the perceptions of others. It's only a matter of time before you stop caring about what people think. Enjoy the ride from beginning to end.
I think Bert could easily pull of acting as the crow. He's got the face and the hair. Just slap some white and black makeup on him and he would be close to brandon lee (rip). Just sayin
Very true. There is a lot of rock guys who can play as the original crow. If we had to pick one existing actor that can play the part, cmon we all know... johnny depp. WAIT! Without having tim burton be the director or m. knight. shamalon... they would make the movie more kiddish just to make it more appealing to younger audiences and get more money, which isn't a bad idea but we need it to be more "crow" genuine. So... maybe... Quinton terrontino :D fuck yeah! At least he will give it good justice and his weird scary humor will give the movie an edge.
