Amazing video Marian! Very informative, thank you! I've been to Pyramisa 2 years ago, and this year we are going to The V, can't wait!

Thanks, Klaudia. If you have been to Pyramisa already, you know what to expect from the area. I have not been in Pyramisa, just walked in the resort and have seen breakfast (video on my channel) and have been 3 times in a la carte while staying in V Luxury. Luxury is a very nice hotel, just double check the room category, take Deluxe if possible. Or swim up room but my opinion is that it is a waste of money to pay extra. I prefer nice view (pool, sea) to paying extra for swim up.

@@marianpavlik6352 I already booked the deluxe sea view room. I would much rather drink my coffee in the morning while looking at the ocean than having the swim up room with the "garden" view. They have some new stuff there which I was not familiar with so your video helped! I'm currently watching the promenade tour videos 😁

@@klaudiaerdes5708 good choice with the room, cannot be better. There was ongoing reconstruction of some rooms (part closer to the beach, mainly ground floor) but we were quite far from that. Promenade is also nice but with the golf cart we did only once, at 9AM, best for empty "road", evening traffic was more busy (golf carts, people, bikes..)

@@marianpavlik6352 I haven't tried the golf carts last time, can't wait to try it this year. I hope the construction will be finished by October, but I don't think it would be an issue.

Is the beach snady or rocky and how good is it?

Sand combined with hard flat coral but easy to enter the sea, we did not use any special beach shoes. You can find pure sandy entry easily.

Thanks, Anji. I would love to make more videos but I do not have much time for travel, stuck in the office, lousy life :-) So far I have only visited 5 hotels in Egypt. I would say the nicest one (better said most luxurious) was V Luxury, then Albatros Palace Port Ghalib. Then Fort Arabesque as 3rd. However, Fort Arabesque is the best combination of the environment (beach, gardens, under water life). As for V Luxury, it lacks a bit the Egyptian atmosphere, you feel a sort of global atmosphere. It really depends what a person seeks, I mean everyone has his own priorities and expectations. I think all 5 hotels I have stayed in were nice, each one with its own specifications. The simpliest one was Arabia Azur in Hurghada city, though also not bad, and one of very few (if not the only one) in Hurghada city with nice coral reef. Check my video of the ride on a golf cart along the Sahl Hasheesh promenade. There are a few really luxurious and more expensive hotels then V Luxury - Baron and Premiere Le Reve. Those 2 are very high rated but that also reflects in the price...

Super videa👍,velmi mi pomohli zorientovať sa. S manželom sa chystame v oktobri druhý krát na dovolenku do Egypta.Boli sme v Xanadu MB.Uprednostňujeme piesočnaté more bez korálov,a služby na úrovni,niečo pre trošku náročnejších za rozumnú cenu.Pozerala som hotely v SH a páči sa mi Luxury,ale dobré recenzie má aj Old Palac..Pozerám aj Soma Bay. Mali by ste prosím nejaký tip? Diik

som rád, že pomohlo. Ono keď ste boli v Xanadu a chcete zostať na tej úrovni, nebude ľahký vyýber. Ja do tých najdrahších nechodím, lebo sa snažíme lietať na dovolenky 3 krát ročne, najďalej Egypt a preto chcem udržať budget na uzde. Z toho, čo sledujem dlhšie recenzie, by som vám asi odporučil Kaisol Romance v Sahl Hasheesh. Ten všetci veľmi ospevujú, cenovo je cca podobne ako Xanadu, niekedy aj vyššie. Soma Bay nesledujem, to je ďaleko od Hurgady a nie je tam žiadny šnorchel. Ja chodím max do Makadi (v novembri ideme do Grand Waterworld), aby som sa mohol ísť potápať z lode z Hurgady. A Makadi preto, aby sme mali aspoň trochu šnorchel.

@@juditakissova4033 pláž v Kaisole je piesočnatá, neviem aký je vstup do mora. V Kaisole sme neboli ubytovaní, ale kúsok pláže Kaisolu mám na videu z prechádzky po Sahl Hasheesh.

Hi Marian, just got back from Hotel Fort Arabesque. Place is perfect. Nature, beach, food are perfect. Service is not so good, and some extra payments for all inclusive. Will you recommend this Hotel over Fort Arabesque?

Hello. The beach, garden and corals in Fort are unbeatable. Luxury is a newer hotel (reconstructed from Pyramisa), so it looks more luxurious and fresh. Though more tiles and concrete “cold” style. For sure food, restaurants better than on Fort. I only know east wing in Fort, so i cannot compare with the west bay of Fort. In Luxury almost zero corals and fish, really poor compared to Fort. If you decide for Luxury, do not take Superior rooms, those are old and worn out. Take only Deluxe room category, that is the one we had and is in the video

yes,we will fly on 1th of June till 14th of June😊.We booked a swim up room and I hope everything will be fine. I haven't been to Hurghada for 20 years. Even then, the cakes had no taste.😅

@@juditjuhasz6134 so have a nice stay. I just looked at swim up rooms from outside but did not like the view of the wall. I always prefer pool/sea view if I do not have to pay extra money which was this case. The reception just offered free upgrade for which I was happy. Good for 1st time visitor. As for the cake, I love those coconut of beige colour. I never eat the crazy colourful cakes.
