Played a game once when it was csgo with my brother, first round of day basically warming up. We matched up with a guy and his girl the amount of shittalk from him was crazy because we werent carrying while his girl was last. Crazy thing for him next round we matched up again but this time he was on the enemy team. He thought he would win trashtalk like crazy. He was not happy when he got clipped so many times. Of course we trashtalk him and his girl in to the ground. He couldnt show of anymore he was soo mad and I mean really mad that he had to stop tipping and his girl only responded of how mean we are. She also had to be told back to cooking. We won like 16:4 or some. Crazy days.

Yes it is sad. I can understand games like Roblox or Minecraft that have mostly children playing them but it’s to the point now that actual M rated games are censoring words in chat. It’s silly to act like adults just can’t handle certain words. For example in MW2 (2022) my clan name was “CAMP”. In MW3 I tried using the “CAMP” clan name again and it got denied for being “too inappropriate”. Probably because it sort of resembles the word “CUNT”, if you have a couple holes in your brain anyway. In my opinion anything should be allowed in M rated games, even a “CUNT” clan tag.
As a black man, I’ve been Doxed mid game and told that i was going to be lynched. Even then, I just laughed it off and joined a different server. If you can’t deal with the negative aspects of being online, don’t go online. It’s really that simple.

As a valorant player I want to really quick sum up that this is the vast minority of players that act like this the only reason these people go to twitter and get their followers to make a big hoopla about this was because of the Ishowspeed incident where he got banned so now kebord warriors are yelling at Riot devs on twitter about something that the vast majority of the valorant community doesn’t care about

As a Valorant player. The main problem is how popular the game has gotten. There are plenty of players that think these type of people are annoying and overly sensitive, but the game is so popular that you inevitably going to meet these types of people. Its a competitive shooter that has gone mainstream. There are plenty of people who play, that havent really played a competitive game before. So they arent used to the trash talk, and as a result, they have thin skin and complain. Now I will admit, that dude was clearly wayyyy in the wrong. And he probably should get a ban (not a hardware ban). But she was also clearly farming for clicks. The best valorant games happen when everyone clearly isnt new to gaming and they know how to talk shit and not get their feelings hurt. Those games exist, but sadly, people like this will always be louder

I hate to admit that the community is basically babies, I told one of my teammates he was mopping the floor because his crosshair were at feet level, then he started throwing and said that I ruined the last bit of motivation he had to play the game. So I apologized in hope he would stop throwing, but he just called be soft, so I just told him that he was crying about criticism. He also threw the second half but we won.

The problem isn't that guy getting banned, it's the girl making a waterworks publicity stunt over it and demanding games get even more draconian than they already are. You can't say anything in Valorant without AI recording it so this guy was likely banned before she made the tweet.

I've been playing League in and out for about 10 years now. If you don't get any benefit out of hostile people, then just report & mute them. I used to feel disappointed when people got mean for no reason, but nowadays it's so easy to report and get them punished that I just have my own fun by managing to get aggressive users penalized for getting too emotional in a game.

I was lucky enough to be some small Twitch drama a bit ago. I play Dead by Daylight, and I was playing as the killer, where you're supposed to hunt the survivors and put them on hooks. This streamer was in my lobby (who I was stream-sniping lmao), and was calling me a "shit killer" for how I was playin. Note for yall other DBD players out there, I was playin Bubba so yk lmao. When you hit a survivor twice, you "knock" them like in fortnite, where they're crawling, and I do what I call "futt bucking," where you go back and forth on their body to insinuate grape. I was mass reported, and got the streamer to cry and bitch and moan on stream for the whole unskipable 5 minutes of on-stream grape to her in-game character. She reported me, deleted the vod, and didn't stream again for 2 weeks. Fuck yeah
