When Rebekah is telling the story of their family she says you can’t both be a witch and a vampire. Since their mom was a witch all the originals should have been born witches but now that they’re vampires they don’t have their powers.
@@beatrizmendonca4731 The more elaborate answer to that goes into a bit of spoiler territory, even if the guys are ahead on their viewing... But so far, the answer is NO, Finn has a fundamental problem with the morality of the more violent basic instincts that come from being a vampire (Killing, preying on the innocent, drinking blood, etc.); he hates being a predator.
That final scene is one of my favorite in the entire series. Such a powerful moment. We finally get the whole original family, not counting their dead father. This was also around when I started caring more about this family than our main heroes.
“What Klaus wants isn’t realistic” that is very true lol. He wants to be able to make everyone’s lives as miserable and possible AND for them to respect and love him.
Introducing the whole Original family way a pro for the show because of how entertaining they are to watch, but also a con because their dynamic really overshadowed a lot of the characters.
So many awesome scenes in this episode! Kol, Finn and Rebekah returning, Klaus being unable to look Esther in the eye - ugh! And the acting from the original family is always amazing

The Originals are here which includes my girl Rebekah! I got chills!! I LOVE that Damon and Stefan can acknowledge that they both love the same girl, and still share that brotherly bond of love. Their bond as brothers is one of my favorite parts of this show 🧡 The scene between Caroline and her dad was so heartbreaking 😭

@@olavihekandjo2928 Dude I know this but I am talking about right now what is happening in season 3 not what happened in end or after that. and no matter how much you love your significant other, sibling love is always great and here Damon has only Stefan his baby bro and Stefan has only Damon his big bro and literally Damon was everything to him, his drinking buddy, his best friend, his mom, his dad his everything before Katherine came and made their relation messy.
I'd like to see tatia child later on future spin-off because Julie revealed that she team are definitely work on new spinoff based on legacies original tvd because elena is tatia descendants?
@memo SPOILERRRSSS Just pointing out something! Actually there is almost 1k years of difference between Amara and Tatia, remember that Silas, Amara, Qetsya, are around 2k years old... So we have to imagine that there were 1k years worth of dopples before Tatia, so we can say pretty confidently that she wasn't the First... If the dopples are generational then there should've been around 10 Amara dopples before Tatia, and even if it's not generational, even if it is around 2 or 3 or 4 hundred years between each dopple, that would still make Tatia 2nd or 3rd at the very least.
@memo SPOILLLERRSSSS Did they actually ever said every 500 years in any episode? I think they always left it un-answered... But after season 5, like you said, we know for sure that they aren't that far apart, or not all the time at least... So there have definitely been more female doppes apart from Tatia, Katherine and Elena; and more males apart from Stefan and Tom... Qetsya even said that she has seen versions of them reunite throughout history multiple times, so there and definitely more, we just don't know if there were just 2 or 3 more, or 10 more.
@memo SPOILERRSSS Not necessarily related... Their lineage doesn't actually have to be direct... Silas and Amara never got together and had kids, so we can assume that each of their dopples started with some family member of each one... And even if some of their versions got together and had kids, that doesn't mean that the next generation of dopples would come from that specific union, it can come from any other close or distant family member of Silas' family line or Amara's family line, anyone who carries the family line that goes back to each of their families... So they have shared ancestry but not necessarily blood related... With each generation that family becomes bigger and bigger: siblings and cousins, each have their own families, each have one or multiple children, then they have more children, so on and so on; and in enough generations you have a ton of people who share a common ancestry but have no relation to each other and very little blood relation.
Stefan throwing shade on Damon again lol. Love him but the difference when he was dating Elena is Damon didn’t talk crap about Stefan the way Stefan does at Damon lol him really thinking Damon letting him die is probable just to be selfish and he with Elena is dumb, like dude it’s the brother bond before the girl every timeee
It's not the brother bond before the girl every time, sadly with Damon is usually hit or miss... We can go back and forth between the times that Damon prioritizes Stefan over Elena and the times he doesn't We can also go back and forth between the times Damon respected Stefan and Elena's relationship and the times when he indeed crapped all over Stefan and his relationship... Many fans like to remember the times Damon spoke well about Stefan to Elena, and those times are important, but we can also talk about the other dozens of times when Damon disrespected Stefan and his relationship by blatantly flirting with Elena, invading her personal space, appearing to her naked, forcing himself on her, etc... All of it while Elena was firmly in a relationship with his brother. I think it's fair to say that Damon respected Stefan and his relationship some times with his WORDS, but he disrespected him A LOT of times with his ACTIONS... Stefan is usually the opposite, he doesn't shy away from calling out Damon and the things he thinks are wrong with him, but when it comes to actions he puts everything on the line for Damon (End of season 2 being one clear example of it)
Tatia wasn't the first doppelganger, neither was she the original girl. It was another girl that Elijah and Klaus loved and you can see her in the episode Rebeka tells the original's story, they drink her blood.
So she should be mad at Elena who gathered her once but not Klaus who gathered her multiple times and kept her daggered for decades? Are you guys serious? KLAUS KILLED HER MOTHER.
@@olavihekandjo2928 Yes a mother who turned them into vampires, and left them in Mikael's hands. Save it, no one has love for Esther here. And context please, we're talking about a person who has been by Klaus' side her whole life and despite being 90 years in a coffin when Klaus revives her she's all "I love you" "Stefan is betraying you" "He's my brother, if you go against him, I'll rip you apart". Then she learns that he killed her mother, and she is hurt, she leaves it up to the Salvatore's to kill him, but she is SAD because he is her brother, and she doesn't want to be at the moment of his death. How do you go from being heartbroken but wanting him to pay to visceral hatred? No make sense.
@memo The fact that you still don't seem to realize that the line this episode about "Klaus turning into their father" it's sooo important and on point, after all this time and the amount of times you've watched the show just seems insane... You do realize that, like we all agree that Mikael is Klaus abuser and he is awful; Klaus became, throughout the centuries, his siblings abuser, specially in the eyes of Rebekah who he treated specially bad or Finn for example (but that's obvs for the future). He is indeed a victim of abuse, but he also became an abuser himself, the fact that you simply say "We don't think that he is a good guy" it's so minimizing of his actions that it's also shockingly disrespectful... Similarly to Mikael terrorizing Klaus (and all of the siblings as well, let's not forget that they all felt hunted), Klaus terrorized Rebekah with his abuse and controlling attitude... We can talk about the differences between the types of abuse and come to conclusions about who is a worse abuser (I think we would agree on the answer to that), but it is just a FACT that Rebekah and the other siblings have every right to view Klaus as THEIR abuser and to look for ways to get out of his "control". Rebekah HATES their father as well, for terrorizing her throughout the centuries, but mainly for what he did to Klaus... Even when she got on board with the idea to "side" with Mikael she told him straight to the face that he was a monster, the cause of everything and that she hated him... She just wanted a way out of the "claws" of her OTHER abusive relative... Rebekah isn't exactly "siding" with her mom either, and yes she was angry to learn the truth about what Klaus did, but MOST of her anger towards Klaus is because: 1) His general lie about the subject... but most importantly: 2) Because of ALL of the other shit he has done to her... If you really think that Rebekah's only motive for going against Klaus is because he killed their mother and not because of all the awful behavior towards her for 1k years, then you didn't pay attention... The revelation about their mother was a last drop sort of speak, something that give her the courage to do something given that they presented her with the solution of unleashing Mikael on him, and she said "fuck it, he deserves it" Having been abused and having bad shit done to you in the past informs a lot about the way you are and it might help people UNDERSTAND why you act the way you act; BUT IT DOESN'T EXCUSE HIS ACTIONS or lessens them, just because Mikael was abusive towards Klaus doesn't mean that: 1rst) He gets to abuse his siblings without consequences... and 2nd) That he gets some sort of pass about being labeled an abuser himself or a right to not be called or considered that... His behavior towards EVERYBODY, but specially his family IS TOXIC.
The Originals derailed the series and you will see them struggle to find stories around this powerful family and explain why the originals don't just kill the Salvatores.
Yeah I’m glad they gave them their own show because it just never makes since why they don’t kill Stephen or Damon. Also after seeing them go up against the original family the later villains just don’t seem as formidable.
@@olavihekandjo2928 Eh...the only villain I remember being slightly as good as The Originals is the season 6 villain (and there was still problems with that). It's the reason why that season is so popular and seasons 5, 7, and 8 are treated harshly by the fandom. The Originals were the best villains and a great addition to the show.
