I love how when they see each other it’s not a ‘they look into each others eyes and the memories came back’ type of moment. This show has a lot of fantasy but I like that delena seeing each other again for the first time wasn’t cliche.

She only compelled her memories bc AFTER 4 MONTHS of him being gone, grieving wasn’t working and the powder she consumed made her hungrier. “Missing Damon makes me dangerous”, she was hurting people. She didn’t get rid of her memories bc she wanted to forget him or ease her pain. Reply to someone elses comments with your anti Elena bad takes bc I seriously do not care.

Damon didn’t tell her about the rain kiss, just told her that it got muddy and he took her home. I love that even though she was getting some quick flashes of memories when she crossed the border, Damon would never risk her well-being. Also, literally anytime I hear that song from the rain kiss I think about Delena 😭

Every defect of Damon is also transformed into quality, he is an egoist but at the same time he is also altruistic and this makes his character very complex and therefore pleasant, he tried to get Elena back but he was also able to let her go and be happy without him, this is her character progress.

-"my fingers were covered in blood and the touchscreen wouldn't work" is GOLD gosh I love enzo lol -Bonnie: *bleeding out from a wound digging through medical supplies* Jeremy: YOU LOOKING FOR SALT! lmfao i cannnnotttt -stefan and caroline's closeness and bonnie and damon's are hands down the sweetest relationship arcs in the show to me and i think way bigger than people usually notice considering stefan and caroline started as stefan just telling a crushing caroline that they would never happen, and bonnie and damon starting as basically mortal enemies that tried to kill each other at least once each. the 4 of them are iconic friend pairings, so the scene where damon finds ms cuddles almost makes me get happy tears the way stefan and damon's reunion did 🥺 also throughout this entire episode i kept mumbling the bridge to Remember the Time and the chorus to September under my breath and wondering why those songs were suddenly stuck in my head... i got my answer when i accidentally restarted the reaction and heard jeremy sing it lol 😭

@@manasas868 I've never shipped Steroline romantically before- I just always loved them platonically and felt they brought out the best in each other and always looked the most comfortable and happy in the entire show when they were together- but during this rewatch while I keep up with Jer's reactions I'm starting to ship them and PLEASE that dance scene I was like "Please give each other a super meaningful look and GET it" even though I know exactly how it goes and how long it takes for Steroline to happen lol. They didn't realize it then, but its the sweetest foreshadowing of what they become ughhh

But that season was all over the place and when j finally thought she died and now Stefan can be with Caroline. She took over Elena's body. I think that storyline shouldn't have happened. She should've just died when Stefan said goodbye to her. That was a really redemption scene for her when Stefan said u were just 17 year old girl this not ur fault. Then they could've gone with steroline storyline after wrapping steferine

Omg Jer your reaction to the beginning was mine lol!! I keep saying no hate to the writers but idk man clearly I've got some bones to pick 😭 because it doesn't make sense to have Elena do a whole passionate speech to Caroline about how she realized she only knew half her truth with Damon and she needed/wanted to face it all... only to have her an episode later looking straight faced telling Damon she just doesn't feel the same and close the door without digging for info or anything? Like this isn't Elena hate (season 6 Elena is my fave actually) I just genuinely don't get how the writers did this with her twice now making her know her mind has been tampered with, but still say her (tampered) emotions is what's real to her. The first time they did it was when Elena was sired to Damon and she really went "I know I'm sired but it feels real Damon" like cmon? They didn't make her initially ask any questions or hesitate or anything and the entire time I was like how can they write that Elena hates being manipulated and then have her face these two situations that she's aware of super passively eye- 🙃

Rick was able to become human again because the wound that killed him and turned him into a vampire was treatable and closed right away. If vampires died because their necks snapped or a gunshot to the head then Jo can't do anything about it.

The only thing I don't get is how did Trip not know he was a vampire? Wouldn't he have remembered having his throat slit and be trying to fight crossing the border? It's not like Enzo could compel him to forget.

I felt sorry for Stefan on the one hand for what Caroline told him even though I think he deserved it but I loved a lot that at least Caroline didn't beg for Stefan's attention and love again.

And the spilling secrets parts, her telling Stefan that Elena and Damon had sex was alright seeing as elena was morally fucked up by sleeping with his brother less than 24 hours after their Breakup. Caroline was morally right. Also Caroline telling Elena that she Sired to Damon Isnt Spilling secrets(which is what Dullena fans think), it literally ought to have came out The second they found out, because Elenas freewill was COMPROMISED. That’s like not telling a Girl who’s Ruffied And visibly Vulnerable and susceptible to being Harmed and Easily influenced to doing anything By a Known Rapist (the Caroline situation) That they are Drugged.
