When you look back on this episode you will figure out that Stefan wasn’t actually visiting any family in the cemetery because the Salvatore’s are all buried in their own private part of the cemetery which is right behind the Salvatore Boarding House so he would have never crossed her path in the cemetery unless he was following her and yet Elena ran right in to him meaning Stefan was straight up stalking her like a freak he even admits to stalking her for months later on in the show.

Honestly this show was the best thing to come out of that Twilight Vampire era. Well this and the memes 😂

I'm so glad you guys are pointing out Stefan's stalking tendencies and weird behavior because a lot of people just judge Damon (which I'm not defending) but always put Stefan in this weird pedestal somehow... when he's far from being the perfect vampire just because he's one of the main characters

I was so shocked when I saw this show coming up in the schedule, and confused because it did not seem like your guys’ natural interest at all. But Bree being the origin of this makes sense now. A girl friend of mine was how I got into it and The Originals - the better show - as well tbf. 😂 (Holding out hope for Gossip Girl reactions at some point down the road for that reason too. 🤣)

They definitely jumped the shark afterwards, when a show runner left and they also realized the major general audience doesn't care about anything but looks lmao. Ah, what it could've been, honestly. But still a pretty fun show overall!

I have got to rewatch this show, I had first watched it a few years ago and enjoyed it and whenever I always try to rewatch it I could only get till season 3 because I remembered loving season 1 & 2.

not sure if guys do period dramas, but if you do i recommend Reign it was on the cw and has 3 seasons and its basically a teen drama set in 15th century france, its about mary queen of scots. also another 3 season show that was on freeform is called Siren that was really good, its about mermaids and there another show called salem that had 3 seasons and loosely inspired by the salem witch trials. i think those shows with the four of you guys reacting would be awesome

I like Matt. Even when he’s heartbroken over his ex getting with another guy, he maturely goes up to the guy, shakes his hand and introduces himself. He also holds himself accountable for stuff later that he’s not responsible for. He’s a good, solid guy. And he goes through SO much. Vicki is the product of their upbringing. She’s exactly what you’d expect of kids in their situation but not only is Matt not like that, he’s better than every other teenage boy in terms of a good heart, head on his shoulders and maturity. I don’t understand why people dislike him. After episode one when Tyler nearly R@p€s Vicki against a tree and only stops because Jeremy comes across them, I could never like him. That’s unredeemable to me and it’s so sad that Vicki still went for him after that. He’s a disgusting POS. I hope you keep watching. Gets better and better… until… well, there’s a point they should have stopped and they went past it lol. But it’s good for a long time.

The only CW originals I've ever watched are the DC shows; Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, etc. I watched Riverdale before it went unhinged. I do remember Vampire Diaries started during my junior year of HS during the Vampire craze. I just know it has Nina Dobrav from Degrassi and that's it.
