Much better than the original. When I'm seventy years old, living in a grand manor and my nieces and nephews come to stay, I'm gonna play this on an organ.

(Edited Mar. 27, 2020) In a old, desolate theater, the sands of time worn away at the foundation of the once prosperous building. The painted murals on the walls faded and chipped. Leather chairs were now covered in layers of dust and scratches from rodents that would crawl their way inside. A ghost of it’s former glory... But if you closed your eyes, you could still hear the elegiac tone of the organ... And when you opened them, the dead theater came to life. Lights that no longer worked shining with brilliance and the dreary theater’s interior looking posh as if it never had a single grain of dust. Jovial chortle echoed against the high dome ceiling, ladies in the finest dresses and gents wearing tailored made coats sat in their seats. Masks adorned their faces, hiding them from sight. A pristine organ sat on the stage as an organist with a mask of whimsy played it’s keys. The audience enjoyed the show, more laughter and sipping of wine. All not realizing that they are nothing more than the shadows of a time long forgotten...

When I hear this, I think of the huge Carousels that are slowly disappearing from fairs. A lot of focus on the horses looking evil and strange.

As a fan of the original, I find myself really digging this alternate version. Gotta love the organ! Makes an already good song of yours fantastic!

I found myself swaying to the rhythm and didn't even notice!

I imagined myself walking through the woods and find a castle..it was dark and it started raining so I quickly ran into the castle and when I opened the door it made a big sound. I walked in and I was surprised but I have a feeling someone is watching me..I turned around and nothing there..I saw a piano and as soon I walked towards it music started playing..and I knew I’m gonna be stuck here.. Forever..

This is such a masterpiece! I am still a young girl, and i had never been attracted to trendy music or whatever. I had always love the vintage and old classic music ❤️ i love this version so much as well! This made me cry when i heard this for the first time (the other version) i don’t know why, but i just got déjà vu it must have just been my past life or something

It's like i'm a vampire wearing a dark strange pattern mask and dancing with some beautiful victim. In the end, there's only me, myself and I, pour a red champagne (or blood), cheer for the eternal life.

I was quick to look everywhere to buy a record of this in vinyl format until I read the description!! I want to cry!!!

While I was listening to this music I can imagine Count Dracula playing the piano organ playing in front of his guest, with the guest stood there in petrified. Btw nice composition of The Vampire Masquerade. You definitely nailed it and a awesome job. :)

I Really Love This Kind Of Music

I would love a themed weekend at a hotel with a soaring atrium. Organ in the center, people lining every railing, dancing and singing to the music. Have a dance in the morning just before the sun rises, one in the evening after it sets, and one at midnight. Bonus if the midnight is an actual full moon directly overhead, shining down thru the skylights.

I really like this piece, it makes me think that Vampires are such noble and dangerous creatures.

So I started writing a vampire story of sorts inspired by the original version of this, and i've been listening to it repeatedly. i'm glad that this one has been released because 1. it's so lovely and 2. it seems like sort of a 'reprise' moment for my story that I can receive inspiration from, so thank you.

A calm but blackened sky is above a woman who looks no older than 22. She walks along a gravel road every night. But tonight is different, in her mind she hears the faintest bit of music, a haunting organ. she fails to realize that she has begun to trail off the road into the forest. the music gets imperceptibly louder. and before she realizes it, she is in front of a mansion. vines cascade around the mansion, yet it has a haunting beauty. now the organ is much louder than she remembers it starting. her heart is racing and she wants to leave, but the music is enthralling, she cant bring her body to move away. she enters the mansion and from the entrance there is a ballroom. in which at the very end there is a beautiful organ. and sitting on the seat, their is a man in a black suit. he notices her, as she begins to walk to the organ. she reaches him and he stands, yet the music keeps going, playing without out someone playing it. they begin there dance, they do not know each other, yet both are entranced by the other. she hears the music reach its loudest point, then the music stops, the sound ringing through the room, she looks back at the man, in the blink of an eye his teeth are in the crook of her shoulder and neck. she awakens from her sleep and her dreams. she remembers her dream, the man and the organ, and she follows a similar path. she reaches where the mansion should be, but now there is only rubble of a once great mansion, and as she stands there, she hears the faintest bit of organ music.
