all wrong it should have 1 min s and a 1 second cooldown, goes thru blocks and has 200% lifesteal. i stole the last two from @foodoftherinnegan1583 so yeah that will make it very balanced and it will be able to compete with the other races
What next? We're adding constructs with shoulder throw that can, chug kingsbane while running, with jet striker while in lighting cloak, with inhale, and, gaze with a wind gem proc'd?
Maybe they should give echoes more options to use like you can buy race rolls with echoes or make it where echoes can bring back builds you lost for high amouts like 1000 or more
This is a good idea, but i think it would be more as an oath rather than a race. Because vampires are not just born they are transformed by original elder vampires or something like that. So i think if it does exist it would be an oath. Also there should be a mantra to where you are able to cast a magic of some kind and it would drain your opponents health like the linkstrider mantra.
Here is something I disagree with. None of the races are supposed to have game changing statistics to them, so if it were a vampire, really the only thing it would change as a race is appearance, nobody goes specific races because it is required for a specific build, with few exceptions being like Capra, or Adretian folk. HOWEVER, this would make for an interesting OATH, not race. One other thing to note, is that vampire was never a race, it was a sub sub class, if you will, to whatever you were going, with high risk and high reward. If this were to be an oath, I think a better idea would be having the obtainment be via doing a ritual and getting yourself cursed to become a vampire, once you get this curse it only really weakens you, until you find an elder vampire or cult that follows vampires to awaken your abilities, vowing yourself to the oath of vampires, and gaining their abilities. Getting mantras or passives could be any of the ladder, sucking blood, or killing off ideals, but all in all, I still really like the idea of a vampire in Deepwoken. Also, I do not believe vampire would be very good as a sub class, rather if it were an oath, it could just have its buffs and debuffs just like any other oath, it would probably be too busted to be a vampire silent heart or something like that, so it would be better if vampire was like link strider, but instead of defense, its mantras are offence. Just food for thought
I think the animation for mr destroy vampire should be you sucking the soul out of the downed person like in rogue lineage because in rogue as a vampire you suck the blood out of people but in deepwoken when you go to the depths it sends your soul down there so I think mr destroy vampire should be you sucking the soul out of a celtor freshie and it instantly wiped him let me know what you think of my idea
I think the sucking animation should be liek going down between the legs and sucking the life outta them and add a few moaning sounds (like from depths and stuff)
The length of the surface and all depths layers are about ~35 miles long so that wouldn’t be fair how about if you are put in combat by a vampire you get 2-3x more blood drained in every hit
Bro deepwoken need to add race evolutions like an example is for khan cause that's my favorite race of course first at your first race level or trsit level of course its the normal one at the second you get the trait "growing" you get more hair like the original khan and you have cold resistance there's also a chance that you get longer limbs or something the 3rd is monkey fist you basically start with legion kata and a flamecharm staff that can evolve 4th is primate mode where you wther turn into a monkey or a ape if you get the monkey you get more ether a stat bonus and ether or attunement enhanced attacks you're basically a magical stone monkey (wukong reference) if you get ape you get tons of ether a big stat bonus and each hit does a critical damage if you get that critical damage you get a chance to get another than another and another that way if you unlock this u buff snd you get tons of health and don't loose much health and have resistance to cold but if you get ape that's all but if you have the monkey mode you basically get a wukong mode that only lasts for 3 seconds basically you're immune you have all his powers and yeah
Canor evolutions: at first level its the original racial traits at second level you get a howl skill basically you do a big howl and any canor on your island can hear you it also marks every Canor location once that happens you get to talk to another you also get claws for bleed dmg on the third level you get enhanced smelling like you can smell when a flamecharm user attacked when a ironsing attacked or when someone spilled blood at fourth level you get a doggy mode which just turns you into a wolf depending on you willpower determines how long you can stay in it and if you go berserk if you have low willpower then you go berserk and don't control who you attack or some keys just won't work and yeah thats low. Felinor: the first trait is of course nightchild the second trait is claws aka bleed dmg on the third you can see extra in the dark and the first and second traits gets buffed on the fourth you just turn into a cat thats all but while in this state you attack any canor or run away you have control over this state but as a downside going in water just might drown you thats all for now
they should really add sub races like vamp and give it strong passives. ex. vampire cold have a 15% damage boost a night and a 15% damage decrease during the day
